I forgot i had this set to be released today lol This is a remastered video. one of our first tours ever. The video quality was terrible and with current editing software i was able to fix it up to make it watchable. Now you can see the fish lol I hope you enjoy.
FISH do have personalities. Went for sushi last night and the eel was very nice, but the tuna had a huge attitude. I wonder if they prefer being sushi or sashimi?
Hi Mike that's so cool. I'm excited to check it out. I was at Finatics last week. Seems I always have to take money with me lol Wishing you are Sierra a wonderful lovefilled Christmas!!
Hi I'm new to the aquarium hobby and I wanted to start out with a 10gal tank and I was wondering if the fish I'm getting would do good with each other and how many I should keep in the tank noted it will have two filters one with a 3 stage filter and a regular sponge filter. Animals: African dwarf frog-1 Gourami-1 Mollies-2 Platties-2 Neon tetras-4 Shrimp-2 Bristlenose pleco-1 Haha I know its alot but I really need help deciding how munch I can actually keep or put in the tank. And also which type of substrate is good for live plants?
+Vernae Lynch. Hey there I am a big fish guy but let me try my best here. That mix would be overstocking and I don't believe it would work out well. The pleco would need a bigger tank, even though that species stays relatively small I wouldn't reccommend it in a 10 gallon. I think the guppies would eat the shrimp and your neons platties and mollies are schooling fish so you would want to keep them in groups of 5. They also reproduce like mad. Lol I would pick you favorite 2 like 5 mollies and 5 platties and make them the focal point of the tank, with your plants of course. A few weeks later and your population will dramatically increase. For a Gourami as long as its a dwarf species I think they are alright in a 10 gallon. I am really unsure about amphibians though. For substrate you have a few options that will give you great results.. ADA is top of the line but fairly costly. Eco complete is a very good product as well, not as expensive. If you want something a little cheaper that you will still get decent results, try flourite by Seachem or fluval stratum. I hope I was able to help.
Great video as usual. Next time you visit Finatics, would love to see a better view of the Rams, especially the Dark Knight Rmas. Too often I have to pause videos to try to get a good look at them as people bypass them quickly.
Hey would love to see some tours of the monster stores, like Dragon and Big Als, with all the characins, piranhas, and oddballs & monsters (non-cichlid, real monsters) - cheers!
I will try again on my next trip down. I remember when i went to film there was like 40 people in there. lol If i remember correctly the pathways were very narrow so if someone was walking down the path you would have to walk to the end to let them pass lol Anyways my footage was terrible so i never released the footage
