@@biancabutras8956Jim Joyce wasn't paid off and he had the courage to admit it. When the refs are constantly bailed out by poor NFL rules however (not being able to challenge penalties, no accountability, etc), that suggests someone from higher up is calling the shots
@@BrandonKellogg22 I 100% agree. Betting on games especially now with so much online gambling is ruining the sport completely as well. wouldn't even be surprised if Jerry Jones paid him off. The fact they are basically untouchable is ridiculous. The only punishment is removing them from the playoff staff but then what? they bring them back next season to do the same all over again.

They actually fell short their next two attempts and also the possession before that. The lions choked hard if we are being realistic, but clearly Detroit isn't ready to face the hard realities anymore.

I can’t believe I’m still awake and still searching video after video and fuming more and more by the second. I don’t care what anyone says I’m glad they continued to go for it instead of taking the extra point. They put the game in their hands after that disgusting flag that cost them the game. No reason to allow a stupid coin toss in overtime to determine anything or cost us more injuries especially after Jamo earlier on

The Lions proved that they are on the level of the NFC's elite. Not only that, because they lost like that, they will now be absolutely furious going into the playoffs. And that's the right mindset to have.

@@RogueBlackOp Did you see the look on Goff's face during the press conference? Players putting in all that effort after a fake punt to move down to the 5 and not get points. Furious leads to players over pursuing, rushing in not under control etc. which they are already doing. It would have been better for the players to lose in overtime, rather than a coach not responding properly after the first two failed attempts at a two point conversion, and not giving the team the best chance to win. After piss poor officiating I think they would have had a better chance winning in OT with their anger, and be over with it, than carrying it into the playoffs.

Still proud of how they played, defense is getting healthy right before playoffs and playing well. They could go on a run in January.

Actually it was a under thrown pass that Jmoe had to slow down to catch which allowed the defender to catch him and hurt his leg he may even miss a game

Games with bad officiating are always remembered, but naturally for the worst reasons. Remember the Packers/Seahawks "Fail Mary"? Or the other time the refs screwed the Lions over against the Cowboys in the Jan 2015 Wild Card game (where they lost 20 to 24)??
I'm just glad this wasn't a postseason game outright, and I'm also happy knowing that Brad Allan and his staff won't be officiating any postseason games. And while that may seem like a slap on the wrist, it isn't: this means he doesn't get paid, nor his crew. That's a lost paycheck or two for everyone! They're gonna be breathing down his neck for that, and that's something I can live with.
Maybe it should be called "The Lions should have been called for tripping, not the Cowboys, and the last 2 minutes should have been kneel downs" game..?

Decker literally walked up to the official to report. We won this game. It doesn’t really affect us that much and I’m proud of our Lions but just another BS call in Dallas. How ironic. Even Aikman post game said.. “The evidence is there that Decker reported.”
The main issue with this is that changes completely the playoffs schedule for the Lions. They had a shot at two home games, no any more.

I think Brad Allen’s incompetence will release a fire on this team that will fuel them to places this organization hasn’t seen in generations. That flag was the best thing for this team right before the playoffs when other teams that are in the dance not prepared for. It’s another chip we can stack on our shoulder. #DetroitvsEverybody

It's always something with these Dallas games, but they'll get their comeuppance in the playoffs.
New video released by the NFL on reporting after the game shows how Skipper was registered as reporting and Decker wasn't. All game, Skipper had been the only one reporting, and every time he came in to report, he ran off the sidelines toward the official with his left arm raised and right arm tapping his chest(as that is a universal symbol for reporting), and every time the ref recognized it as him reporting, because he was. On the 2pt play, he did the EXACT SAME THING(as another video angle shows), and the ref DID turn and see him running in before Decker ever got close to the ref. Skipper was recognized as eligible before Decker ever got to him because that was how Skipper had been reporting ALL game.

If #68 indeed did not report to the officials prior to entering the game as a receiver, then yes, the Lions did deserve the penalty. I agree, though, that Detroit overall outplayed the Cowboys.
The nfl made a huge mistake pissing these guys off. Who in the hell would want to play us in the playoffs now, sure in the hell better now be cowboys but hopefully it is.

If Dan Campbell would have kicked that field goal when down on the 5 yd line after the fake punt all the ref crap wouldn't have mattered. Coaching contributed more to the loss than the refs did. You would think that maybe the game was trying to tell you something at the end when going for 2pt conversion for the second time that maybe we should just kick and go to OT which would also be going for the win. smh they will never learn.
The ref is refusing to look at the player trying to tell him he's eligible. The NFL has been fixed for decades. Green Bay and Dallas, and Jerry Jones are all historically able to change the outcome of a game whenever they lose. So to Refs the backsides of Jerry Jones, Green Bay, and Dallas must all taste like cheese to them. And you know gambleng wise nearly everyone's money was on Dallas. So is the NFL in with the Mob or just organized gambling? I posted this outcome twice 6 hours BEFORE the game on facebook, with two very long videos of dozens of historical call retractions against the Detroit Lions.
