Maybe you lost a key or it took a dip in the water and isn't working and are down to one key. If you have one working key left you can get a simple key from a number of retailer and online retailers. This allows you to use your one key to program another key and if you buy replacements you can do a few more. Your car only stores a certain amount of keys, but it's nice to have an extra spare. This works on a variety of dodge vehicles including the Challenger, Charger, Dart, Durango, Journey, Magnum, and Ram although the dial position may be different.

This worked great! I loved having the video. The instructions weren't that hard, but the visual of where to look for the OBD and everything helped out a lot.

I only got a regular key just to start the van n unlock the door can I still programmed with that key???
Can I program a 2008 dodge caravan key fob to a 2011 dodge caravan that has lost key
would this work if I only had one fob? I didn't see on this video the second key being used. Could I use the key inside the fob as well as the fob? Technically there would be two separate ways of starting he car.

depends on the vehicle. I believe anywhere from $200 to $400+ at the dealership

@@youcanfixit3721 called a locksmith $150 per fob. Calling dealership today. Apparently I need a skim PIN number of the vehicle to program my fob. I have to show ownership, I sent the title to the DMV to get it registered to me.
