Nick really entered a perfect storm when he came into this world. He definitely needs supervision and I don't think given his family's substance abuse, fracture, and poverty, that he received the proper supervision as a young man. That said, he did graduate high school and he did attempt gainful employment. His reasoning is rigid and Gypsy played into that, especially his sense of duty and commitment. The fact that he is still open to any kind of relationship with Gypsy tells us all how vulnerable he really is. He is a murderer and he remains incredibly self-focussed. He doesn't reflect much on the life he stole, at least not in the few pieces of audio we have of him. We do not know what sort of additional violence he has experienced or witnessed in prison and how that may have influenced him. I do not trust his ability to regulate his behaviors online, he needs monitoring in that domain for sure, especially given some of his psychotic-like events and magical thinking. He is intelligent and one has to know how IQ is evaluated to understand that he can have a lower overall IQ and still be quite high-functioning in specific domains.
This is a really old interview. When did you speak with Nick to evaluate him in such a detailed way? After being read parts of Gypsy's book and being aware of what she said about him, how do you know he still wants any kind of relationship with her today? One of the most damaging things people can do to Nick is to judge him on his prior opinions and not what he thinks today.

If he wanted to put out another message, he can and has not. Did you not see in my post above that I said it was limited by the few audio files we have of Nick? You can also watch the footage of the psychiatric examiner who evaluated him and testified at his trial, he breaks down parts of his evaluation that are generally consistent with my own perceptions of Nick described above.

This is baffling and messed up to watch.
The interview is almost SEVEN YEARS old. Nick is being read parts of the book where she speaks about him, he's aware and he doesn't feel now the way he felt 7 years ago thankfully.

If I were Rod, I'd definitely get a DNA test. 🤔 If it turned out that Gypshit wasn't Ron's biological kid! That would absolutely change everything up. 🤷 Y'all should definitely look into this.
