Ok. Seems no reefer can tell me the costs. I guess not knowing is better than knowing. I’ve been away from the hobby for 7 years working overseas. When I came back to the states I could not believe the prices! I am still in shock and I may just stay a sideline fan admiring tanks like yours.
@@robdavinroy1761 prices got crazy on a lot of things but some of the old school ways are still great. IMO I have the best lighting available in the hobby and it cost me $750 used (giesemann spectra halide fixture). The cost really depends what you want to achieve. If you stack radions, add a full hydros controller, buy some $25 per lb live rock from Australia, buy all the popular named corals in the hobby, and do is in a 200g tank or larger, you could be looking at $20k +. Doesn’t have to be that way though 😂
@@jackson6745😂I was guessing you had at least that amount already into your setup. One reefer with a tank your size did confess he had $50 k invested. I hope you have a generator ! 😅
Thousand and thousa and thousand....just go look at my tabk, its nothing compared to this and i have 4k invest. The battery backups were 700 dollars though.
Looking good, Rich!
@@GenePlotkin thanks pal. Time to grow!
Good looking setup 💯👏🙌👌🔥
@@queencityreefs thanks bud! 👍
nice recovery.
@@steevareno2002 thank you!
Care to share how much total 💰you have invested in the system and animals?
I didn’t add it up but nothing in this hobby is cheap. Luckily a few buddies loaded me up with frags as I have done for them in the past😊
