“Let me go to my good side, if not I don’t know how to do it” lol 😂 you’re the man Faria!
Bernardo is seriously the nicest dude ever. So glad his stuff is taking off!
Omaplata
I just moved 40 min from his gym... might have to go train there
stackered i would if i lived that close
Yes get that guy more money asap 😂
Yup! A good North South isn’t the only thing he picked up from Marcelo...
Mr. Danaher broke down his move so smoothly, that I do not have constipation anymore.
talldarkshark 😂
lol
Someone said Bernardo sounds like a Brazilian Kermit. I can’t unhear it now.
Bernardo reminds me of a jiu-jitsu version of the store keeper in frozen...
Hearing him teach on these videos always makes me happy, he sounds so jolly; need more people in the world like him.
Now everybody look. I gonna make a silly comment on RUclips.
I did it.
P.S.
Nick Thompson yup. So humble and is always intrigued. That’s why I’m a long time subscriber :P
Hello guys huge honor for me, guys in my opinion best jiu jitsu guy this side of the atlantic.
Craig Jones and Bernardo Faria: "This is how you do the move"
John Danaher: "When one thinks about the sport of Jiu Jitsu, one doesn't immediately consider straight arm locks as a go-to submission. However, my students, and indeed many athletes, use this movement to..."
In this essay I will outline three key methodologies regarding the breaking of ...
He had me verbally submitting before the third sentence. Danaher knows his stuff but he really wants YOU to know that too. Lucky for him his stuff is too good to ignore because I would like to do just that.
He has the voice of an angel.
I appreciate his thorough, investigative analyses, but he should probably keep that to his own channel bc most people don't care. But, then again, if you are watching this, you SHOULD care!
@@SuperThejim Oh great now I must go to brain techniques to sort your answer out ,do the rabbit holes ever end lol.
@3:19
Bernardo: “That hurts a lot”
John wickedly smiles
That guy is terrifying hahaha
Vincent Jun Leg attacks turn him on 😂
Hahaha
I find him quite calming. Like you know you're in safe hands.
Edward Tupper like a predator luring its prey in,making it feel safe before he pounces
I saw that!
0:55 straight ankle lock
2:33 repeat
3:30 North South choke from knee on belly
5:45 repeat
8:20 straight armlock from butterfly (ude gatame)
11:35 repeat
Who are you taffer?
Through out my entire time on youtube I've never seen someone in the comments more than once but ur everywhere. Do u still do bjj?
@@asblikpos5924 haha I’m obsessed with bjj. I did not is these when I was a blue belt
We're in a golden age of JJ, ladies and gentlemen. Make the most of it :)
Yes...a turtleneck rash guard. So next-level
Old school rashguards were used by surfers, the high necks were normal
@@cuzz63 I have the same one, use it for skiing not BJJ
@@stackered , my first bjj rashguards all had high necks.
Tactical Turtleneck, a TACTALNECK
OG's rocked the turtle neck rash guard.
Danaher looks in your eyes thru the camera
10:19 this move is called the Danaher spank. At this point, the fight is effectively over.
Lol’d
"how we gonna get that on a good man?" lol john is the best
at 1:30, I noticed Danaher in the back, just perfectly conserving energy.
Nevermind the submissions. Notice the most amazing innovation in the rash guard industry. The Rash Guard Turtleneck. Brilliant
I say nevermind as they always blow my mind with their techniques ;)
hahahahahaha.....
You would never guess the danger these three gents pose. Just regular looking dudes. Although maybe John's constant rash guard wearing is a slight give away haha
LOL...their ears give them away, take a closer look, those are cauliflower ears, dead give away for guys who train a lot.
@@BruceRogersHamchuc its funny that you say that when none of them have very noticable cauliflower
@Medic Engineer what in the ever living fuck are you on about you fucking maniac?
Medic Engineer you are a proper dick head
let him be guys
I absolutely love Bernardo's compliments after getting demonstrated on! Also side note, Bernardo with the CC subtitles on is HILARIOUS!
this comment ahaha
Tbe awesomeness of these three in one video. I tapped out by looking at the thumbnail
Adrian Q SOTX Grappler fanboy
10:13 SOB just called me out for my entire BJJ time on the mat lol.
Craig is the next Danaher. . . All he needs is eloquent language and to go graduate in philosophy
Aged well
I Love How Danaher Looks Like A Priest...
I'm not religious but I'd sign up for that church.
The Church of Heel Hooks and Juji-Gatames
a Judas Priest?
Definitely a religious leader of sorts
So today we're gonna analyse how to turn a loaf of bread into a fully cooked and seasoned fish ready for consumption.
First we have to understand these three concepts...
Thats a lot of expertise in one single vid 👌
When Bernardo said "let me go to my good side or else I don't know how to do it..." I felt so understood.
Thanks for sharing!
Always great knowledge thanks guys!
So enjoy these sessions.
Great video. Very well explained. Thank you!
Wow awesome thank you three !
I love how Mr. Danaher always uses Judo or Japanese terminology for the techniques, gold content as always.
That's so funny. I find it inconvenient and pretentious.
@@paragon1782 yes, but on the other hand, for people with Judo background (lot of people) it's more convenient
@@paragon1782 It is a Japanese art, he's giving the respect.
@@paragon1782 Me too. Find it hard to like Danaher. That's a pretty high horse he rides into town.
@@errcoche Combined with the fact he doesn't respect the tap (even with heel hooks) confirms his douchebaggery.
Incredible! Thaanks Bernardo, Craig and Dr. Danaher
Great stuff. Thanks, guys!
Again another great video! Thank you for posting it.
Great content Bernardo. Thank you 🥋
Thank you for this great technicals.
Stunning video! Thanks for these 3 great instructions.
Very Nice Video! Thanks 🙏🏻
Coo ! not often you a video that's pure gold from start to finish. Thanks !
Great stuff as always.
All 3 submission details and examples where amazing 👍 awesome job guys!
Awesome techniques and awesome instructors...
Sempre aprendendo com seu canal Bernardo.
Brilliant stuff! 👏🏻
Awesome details on all three
Great tutorial. Thanks!
My god JD’s breakdowns are truly amazing.
Valeu bernardo mais um video show de bola, queria eu ter a oportunidade de estar com vocês ali, 3 monstros!
There is exactly one thing I want before I die. Watching a video with both Danaher and Neil Melanson in the same room.
who is Neil?
@@Shinigone Use your google please
the question is... what video
Just reading that got me excited.
Dude if that happens the camera man would be tired and dripping sweat from the shear force all the techniques going on. He would be injured just listening and holding the camera, and that would force him into early retirement.
Thanks awesome technics, greetings from Colombia
North south is the most beautiful submission. Excellent tips, love the creation of space to press into with the arm bar.
Man .... simply i love you Bernardo .
Look at em there, the three lads!
honestly Bernardo, hearing you talk about Jiu Jitsu with people just puts a smile on my face.
Oss!
John so technical wow so much detail
Thank you all of you guys. This Channel is the reason why I was interested to learn Ground fighting instead of striking only..
I love this kind of videos and iam a really huge fan of John
You guys are real life superheroes!
John is a Jedi Jitsu Master. Adding new dimensions and ways of thinking along with devastating techniques.
I do knee on belly to ns choke a lot. It also eliminates their hands as a defense cuz usually they'll post on your knee. It's so cool seeing this in a video.
"that's not gonna work at championship level where people are ready to take serious damage" danaher a top savage referring to how gordon ryan didn't get the L in the craig jones match
thank you you are amazing oss
Thanks fellas!
Sempre conteúdo de primeira. Oss!
Excelente!
Merci beaucoup !
Australian Craig and kiwi John 2 of the best ever!'n
Good Techniques
Thank you
Toujours aussi génial !!!
Graig Jones, John Danaher , & the Death Squad !!!,are Brilliant, and truly amazing ! Oss!!!
bom trabalho!
Awesome 👍 techniques
Danaher is the best jits instructor ever not even a close second.
Ryan Hall, the close second you are looking for
@@khursheedali1560 Hall sure has amazing techniques, but the 2nd best *teacher* in the world? Not in my opinion at least. He still has great jitz and great dvd's but the teaching isn't for me
Maybe the teaching style has to fit to the student, so there is no best teacher for everyone.
e.g. for me it's way easier to follow Lachlan Giles's and Ryan Halls instructions
@@khursheedali1560 no, i've watched all of ryan hall's videos and nothing mind blowing; in fact i've had trouble applying his technique in live roles; Now, it's my fault for not executing but his teachings just did not translate for me on the mat. With Danaher, it's immediate. The power of his teachings are unmatched.
i love your intro
Me: What makes a good man, John?
Danaher: Where he places his elbows.
God bless you Bernardo
John specifically uses different terms for everything. I bet it helps people remember what he is saying
I’ve been studying Jiu jitsu for about 3 months now and this is so exciting. Originally going to start when I choose the right school, based in Los Angeles. Huge fan of the og deathsquad. This is free knowledge
Love Bernardos North South Choke
John is so easy to listen to
Huge honor for me to see this vid !!! ;-)
free range camera works so much better than a fixed one!
I could listen to Craig talk all day
Eu uso direto a posição 1 e 2, mas o vídeo me ajudou a aperfeiçoar as duas! Grande professor!
Gold.
What a great ankle lock by Jones
Mr. Danaher is truly amazing. I'd love to train under him.
JD is just next level, insane
Pinky’s up gents, it’s how you let em know that you’re classy.
Bet desiderata had them all reaching for the dictionary. Got to love JD. What a coach
Question! Danaher mentioned that the knee on the shoulder is vital to keeping the head of the opponent low, yet when he goes for the breaking mechanic he will take his knee off to move his hip away from the opponent's hip. Does that cause an opportunity for the opponent to raise his head again, or is it too late at that time? And regarding the same submission: during the initial falling to his side whilst controlling the arm, is there any chance of the opponent pushing your knee in between his legs and slowly working his way up? (in this case: on Danaher's left side).
Perfect 💝
John is in the background watching and connecting to the force simultaneously
Anyone that does not appreciate this level of information is crazy
TOP !!!
Once again Danaher blows my mind
Where can I get those shorts that Craig Jones Is wearing? Doesn’t have to be the specific pair he wore, but it would be a bonus.
gems
I love these instructional videos, too old to compete but not to old to show my Grandchildren. Just watched Craig fight in SUG (Submission Underground) 12, OH MY GOODNESS! Unbelievable! If anyone can recommend really good BJJ competitions please share.
Gordon Ryan vs. anyone. Watched his more recent matches first and then went back and watched his older matches, was really educational to see the changes he made. Appears he had stopped trying to force submissions (which made him vulnerable) and simply patiently waited for his opponent to make a mistake, then he would pounce.
Truly grateful to have access to this level of expertise. Thank you.
Awesome!! Thank you!!
cool shorts craig
