- John Danaher demonstrates the Side Triangle While Guard Passing in this Jiu Jitsu techniques video.
Here John is showing us an excellent side triangle. This is a triangle that is often times perceived as difficult but under Johns tutelage, it is easy. He combines his Triangle Attack here with his Kimura System.
These Jiu Jitsu Techniques are off of his instructional series "Triangles: Enter The System."
John Danaher is arguably the most infamous Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor on the planet. Some of his students include Gordon Ryan, Garry Tonon, Georges St. Pierre, and Nicky Ryan.

BJJ Fanatics was started by a pair of black belts (Bernardo Faria & Michael Zenga) who feel that nothing is more important than improving your BJJ skills as much as possible in the least amount of time. Their aim was to create a shop for BJJ Students who don’t look at BJJ as a sport - but as a lifestyle.

John Looks like an Jiu Jitsu Professor graded at Oxford or any of these great Universities!
That's because he was lol. He was completing a PhD at Columbia when he was first introduced to BJJ from memory.
@@MrAxis1ne Wow, thats awesome!
gotta try this!!
I did this last night! 😎 thanks
Phenomenal
Love it! Thank you. Very grateful for these little snippets from the “enter the system” series as the price to purchase is quite prohibitive, I’m sure the product is very much worth it but not all of us have a few hundred $$$.$$ to drop on a DVD. Wish you all the best with the sales and I’ll just have to hope for a special sometime in the future. OSS.
Thanks
I will try this tommorow :)

Why would you get up like that when you are in kimura trap? You should be escaping your shoulder with something like a babybridge/outside shoulder escape or an inside shoulder escape.
Always had a problem with the side triangle. I'l see if this helps.
same here
@@WhtMike2006 I think it's a body type thing. I showed it to one of my training partners the other day and he could immediately choke me with it even when I gave 100% resistance... I didn't even explain the details of the choke he could just do it.
Meanwhile I'm still struggling with it. Probably not a great choke for me :/
I keep thinking I'd get my back taken when going for that Kimura.
I'm quite sure when you lean heavy on the right side of the opponent's body + put the pressure to the upper thigh with your right shin at 1:50, there's not a good chance for your opponent to reach for the back take.
Maybe because you suck
@@davidcabreramartinez4892 maybe because you're a bitch
I don’t understand the last step? It seems like he falls into the same spot. I’ll have to try it out and see the difference
Too good as always but camara should be in better postion
Somewhat similar to what Olivera just pulled off
boost for algo
I was wondering if there were more moves that were completely inaccessible for my hips and I was not surprised to find another one.
