That building looks fantastic! From everything I've seen on decals, it's putting down a gloss varnish for the decal first and then you can do mat later. Thanks for the vid!
What an amazing piece of terrain with so many potentials and even just a battle to capture the tower itself or leader or data, oh the list goes on ....
The Russian signs are in somewhat broken Russian, on par with CB's less than fluent translations Ариадна Водка Делта Один Ноль - Ariadnan vodka Delta Zero One Вантанн Конструкции - Vantan Constructions (can be a misspelling of вонтоны - wonton) Дорога домой - way home (This one is even correct! Yay!) Публичная бииблиотека - public library (also correct; they might get a D instead of an F) Спутник - Sputnik, like the Soviet satellite or the Nomad rem Небесная водка - Sky vodka Бруталистские города - Brutalist cities (no other mistakes so far, I'm impressed)
@@brutalcities That's honestly interesting, probably I'm wrong (I'm not a native speaker). But Ариадна водка was pretty surprising to see. The usual approach for vodka names is to use an adjective, not a proper noun. For example Moskovskaya, Kubanskaya, etc. By that logic I'd expect Ariadnenskaya here.
I have the panic room part (and first thing I did after building it, was dropping it :( ... luckly the damage was minor and could easily be fixed) and it is really, really cool. I also highly recommend it.
@@brutalcities Yeah everything is fine and I do like all the kits I own. They are amazing. It may sound weird, but I also enjoy bulding them. They fit so nicely, that it feels like a 3D jigsaw puzzle. :D
Just wanted to say that I recently discovered your content, and I can't wait to buy Operation Kaldstrom next week! I'm a warhammer enthusiast who discovered Infinity through Angel Giraldez, and your videos have helped me understand the universe and rules for Code One, so I'm very grateful. Would love to see some of your favourite pieces of terrain and maybe a breakdown of different faction playstyles ( I'm thinking O-12 or Nomads :D )
Thank you so much for the comment I really appreciate it!! I have a bit of a faction focus on O12 hiding somewhere and will be working on some O12 content soon too. Always grateful to hear requests for content!!
I have this, from the Wildfire box set - store.corvusbelli.com/wargames/infinity/codeone/combined-army-shasvastii-action-pack Getting started with Code One rules is great as it gets you used to the game and this box is Code One and N4 compatible meaning you have the models to start playing straight away!
I also have a gigantic skyscraper for my Infinity games but I never know were to put it. Do you put it in the center? Off to the side? In a corner? Along the centerline but not in the middle? Inside a deployment zone or outside?
I’ve played non-panic room style games with it still in the centre. I find it’s a great focal point thematically and enables people to run up and through it while getting cover.
i'm thinking that with couple of these you could manage to cover same area as a game table with only floors. And then play a game of infinity in interconnected floors
I enjoyed this video, but the audio was a bit low. I've only recently started making videos myself and audio is hard. I'm guessing your headphones or speakers were set loudly so you adjusted the video volume to match. One thing that might be good is finding a youtube video with good audio levels and then match your video's levels to it. This way you can have a baseline so you don't lower your volume (or boost it) because your headphone or speakers where high/low. Currently I've got the video's volume matched and my desktop volume boosted so I can hear you, but all notifications are blasting.
That’s such good advice thank you!! Yes I probably had my volume very high and that ruined the balance. I love the idea of using a reference video and will be doing that with any future edit. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me improve 😃
“Can’t shoot through buildings” is very much a house rule and terrain like Brutal Cities that makes it harder to do means you can do away with it entirely.
@@the_infinitygamer Not really? I’ve been to some tournaments in N3 where either doors or building interiors were house ruled but the local club is lucky enough to have enough terrain that it’s unnecessary. Obviously our government is incompetent and we haven’t been able to get out for N4 tournaments yet. We do run some narrative leagues with various fun rules, but that’s more about the non standard scenarios than constantly house ruling the core game.
😬 we have been very lucky to resume face to face games and group events on this side of the world. I’m always curious about house rules as they’re always interesting. I like LOS rules to be simple so you’re not asking about how a price of terrain works and give away your plans 😂
holy shit, new zealand, thats where im from, whoa, instant sub for this. its so hard finding miniature stuff closer to home to buy from =] nicecc tips thanks man. chur from dunners
Nice to meet a fellow player in this remote part of the world! Battle Kiwi is an MDF manufacturer on these shores if you want something even closer. Hopefully get to see you at an event one day.
Thanks for the great review! Very glad you like it, look forward to seeing your painting journey!
It’s a beast!! Thank you for giving me the chance to get my hands on it. Great work as always!!

That is probably the process I went through but couldn’t remember for the life of me 😂😂
Love the scale of this, their whole range looks amazing, super tempted. Kudos on Aristeia in the background, such a great game!
Need to crack it out again soon actually but thanks for the comment!!

100% agree. Honestly I’d be happy having a game that just uses this tower.

@@the_infinitygamer No problem. If there are others in the set, that you didn't show in the video, drop a picture and I'll translate them too

I like the graffiti decals Brutal Cities has to offer. Especially the infinity graffiti.
I’m a huge fan of them too. Really make an impact for low effort.

That is freakin HUGE!! I've ordered some scatter from the sight and have been eyeballing the buildings but did not realize the size.
Yeah this thing is a UNIT!

This is sick, whenever I make more money I wanna get this lol

Try vallejo decal set liquids. You will much better results with decals
I'll give that a go, thank you for the suggestion!

The sign says ariadna vodka for anyone interested only in Cyrillic alphabet not actually in Russian
That’s good enough for me!
I heard for cheap graffiti use the child tattoos from the quarter machines you find at the stores.
I haven’t managed to find those locally 😂

Cutting out a transfer on a 40k book as a cutting mat. You really have moved on from 40k haha.
😂 40k books aren’t worth the trees they used about 6 months after their release.
