The Cloisters is wonderful. Very intimate. So of the rooms are intense.
Thanks for being one of the few videos out there on the Cloisters Cross! I've yet to see it in person but it became one of my favorite pieces after reading "King of the Confessors," the story of how Thomas Hoving gathered all the pieces back together.
Further whetted my appetite to visit Cloisters.I could listen to your voice for hours!

One of my favorite museums. Love going there just to relax and smell the flowers in the lovely courtyard. The Merode Altar piece is definitely a must. I also love the miniature manuscripts gallery. Thank you for this lovely video.
I had a lovely lunch in the courtyard waiting for a tour to start! It's such a special place!
I humbly recommend to everyone that enjoys a visit to the Met Cloisters to also visit the National Catalunya Art Museum (MNAC) in Barcelona, it also has a wonderful collection of medieval art which you will love!
