My first ever high school movie date was to see "Somewhere in Time". Although I knew my date wasn't destined to be the love of my life, I did discover that I was a romantic who was truly touched by the tenderness of a musical piece like this. I didn't find my wife until much later in life - we got married when I was 37. We now have 2 beautiful children, and I'm thankful every day for all of them. Finding true love is the best thing in the world, at any time of your life - great musical theme.

Agree and disagree slightly. John Barry's "Out of Africa" is the best movie soundtrack ever IMHO and a top 5 all time movie as well.
If you compare the musical scores of Out of Africa and Somewhere In Time, you can here how some of the chord progressions are identical.
