Lost me at ground beef patty. Come on, you don't have to get a brisket but at least get a steak!
Right, I stopped at the burgers 😂🤦♂️
Right 😂 😂 😂 I'm hear to check for how it does on a grill to see if I should switch from a Meater 😂
With mine I trust the internal temp but ambient is like way way way way off! Like more than one oven 75 to 200 off
I appreciate this video, i jus got this as a gift for xmas.. Im def gonna be trying to cook a tomahawk as well lol
Thanks for the comment! GOOD EATS 🤪
Do i have to plug each of my 3 probes into the hub before i insert them into the food? Is there a way just to activate all three at once?
Son ate the hamburger without A bun 🤣
How to calibrate? Mine is 5° internal and waaaaaay off externally
That looks medium.
Ground beef should not be cooked medium rare
This is a good review. I've been on the fence on whether to buy the Chef IQ vs the Meater 2+ vs the Combustion Inc probes. I think that price and performance wise, the Chef IQ seems like the better buy. BTW, your knife seemed pretty dull; may be time to resharpen.
On sale at Costco for $99 for two with both being charged.
Bro, did you even season that meat? How is it delicious?
Are the probes dishwasher safe or do you have to wash them by hand
It is dishwasher safe:)
Tested mine in an ice bath and it measures 36 F while my other thermometer measures 33 F. It should be 32 F I think. I overcooked my first salmon using this. Not sure how accurate it is.
If it was 32 it wouldn't be a bath, it would just be ice 😂
Use a thermometer when you cook fish??? 😅😅😅
If this wasn't just a blatant advertisement vs "review" idk what is.
Yep, I knew this was a paid review when he said at the beginning “this neat packaging means this is a cool product”. Disappointing. And who the hell uses these probes to cook burgers? It should have been a filet or something
Couldn’t agree more. I was waiting for the “click link below”
Not a review. This is an infomercial.
Medium rare ground beef is not it. Medium rare steak? Oh yeah
yeah, i am overcooking stuff with mine, i set it correctly, pull it off and by the time it rests, it has overshot... any tips?
The Chef IQ probe I received were way off in accuracy as were the replacement. Verify the accuracy of your probe by doing a simple ice water bath. Fill up a glass of ice water and let the mixture settle for a few minutes and then insert your probe in the water. The probe temperature should report 32 deg F. You can also do a boiling water test that should report around 212 deg F depending on elevation.
bruh that knife is trash LOL I think a butterknife is sharper
135 is medium.. Medium rare you take out at 118 and rest till it reaches 125.. Never the less it looks good at medium.. 😊
