To get the good ones They will wear a hole in the ring or I should say a groove that they roll on before they'll flatten the balls. Pretty's tough stuff. I have been watching your chanel for a very long time and I enjoyed all your videos, even the ones from your second chanel are amazing but I was wondering if you coud try to make a someway diferent type of video with the press, you calculate the amount of preassure they can stand but the time you are pressing them s not always the same or something to notice when you are pressing them, my question is: could you make a video with pure metals like the first on this one, but taking into account the time you press the materials with a timelapse (maybe speeded up if its too long) to see if with the same presaures (50t, 75t, 100t) durig the same amount of time to see if that impacts in the deformation of the metals or maybe a ratio between the time that has been presssed and the amount of preassure that has increased or a way to push it always at the same rate, thanks for all your videos and keep up the good work :)

I set up & operated various
    punch presses some years ago.
    Biggest press I ran,
    provided 80 tons of pressure.
The tooling-die punched four 1/2" holes
at either end of 1" thick armor plate.
    (We were manufacturing theft-proof
    cash repositories for ATMs.)
    When the press cycled,
    the earth rumbled.
    The entire factory shook.
That kind of power is impressive.

#1 brass is more brittle than you think; #2 that was a more brittle alloy than most, probably naval brass. Your typical brass hammer head will not shatter like that, they have a low brittle alloy.
