    Just sitting here re-watching my Jeep video because it's been in the shop for a week now waiting for a replacement rear axle and I am missing it.... lol

      Was it covered by warranty? Also wondering if you don’t mind telling me how much are your monthly payments? I am looking to buy a jeep Wrangler two-door manual myself.

    • @mikhailalynn
      @mikhailalynn  7 месяцев назад

      @@abraxishalliwell9645 yes it was covered completely under the most basic version of the warranty, luckily. I did not finance it, so can’t help there

    One of our fav family traditions was to do Easter sunrise service at the Lincoln Memorial. The cherry blossoms were always amazing. Good attitude about the new car, it’s just a thing, a tool to get you to the Trailhead! The Appalachian Trail visitor center in Harper's Ferry is neat, the trail runs thru the middle of town. Go back sometime!

      That would be so beautiful! I wish I could have gotten to see the blossoms at sunrise or sunset, but glad I got to seem them booming. I will have to return to Harper's Ferry to spend some more time!

    Congrats on the new vehicle. Many years ago I was a tech in a Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealer service department. My 2 bays were right next to the garage door and I always liked the Wrangler's turning radius with that short wheel base. Drive through the door, crank the wheel all the way to the right, U-turn, and right in the the bay with the lift. I hope it treats you well.
    I had a friend that lived in Friendship Village, MD. An almost literal stone's throw from Washington DC. It was so easy getting from her apartment to the redline and going almost anywhere on the Metro. When I did the Appalachian trail she took the Amtrak out to Harpers Ferry to see me. Only a 45ish minute trip from DC. I met her at the train station That train station is most of the parking in the historic area btw. Then walked back up to the cozy little AirBnB that was immediately around the corner from the AT Conservancy's headquarters. Which is a nice place to pop into. A well spent three nights off trail. It's a cool little town with a crapload of history in it.

      Yes, I've already been able to appreciate the turns it can make! That sounds like a perfect way to take a quick break during the AT. It was such a pretty area and interesting town.

    Congrats, Mikhaila, on reaching the 1k mark! I was watching your half-marathon training video Sunday and saw you were at 999 subscribers, and a short time later hit 1k. Very exciting! And have the best time in your new Jeep -- looking forward to seeing what adventures you find in it.

    Awesome vehicle. Nothing better off road. I always wanted one but it's not tow rated to pull my boat. Plus I can stick my canoe in the bed of my pickup. Look forward to see how you rig it for camping.

    Congrats on your new Jeep and 1K subscribers! Manual transmissions for the win lol. I too just purchased a new (to me) vehicle. It's a manual transmission Honda CRV. I intend to camp in it as you did yours :) Cheers to the future adventures!

      Thank you! I totally agree. That's so cool you got a manual CRV. I didn't realize they made those

    I sense a lot of adventures in the Jeep coming ahead.
    Harpers Ferry is the traditional "half way" point on the Appalachian Trail. The "flip flop" point for through hikers choosing to do so. And tons of noted Civil War era history. Possibly why you marked it.

    • @mikhailalynn
      @mikhailalynn  8 месяцев назад

      I bet you're right - I probably heard about it while watching an AT thru-hike video or something of the sort!

    • @dwayne5698
      @dwayne5698 8 месяцев назад

      @@mikhailalynn I have not backpacked through Harpers Ferry myself yet but I'm surprised it's not more touristy with more parking and things to see. But I'm a huge Civil War buff so I know quite a lot about its history.

    Congrats on the Wrangler. Such a great vehicle. I bought mine back in 2020 (for the 2021 model year) and chose the manual as well. Love it! May I ask why you didn’t do a factory order for the Ohio factory? That’s what I did and it did. Got everything I wanted, and nothing I didn’t. They even delivered it to me in Pittsburgh. ❤

    • @mikhailalynn

      Awesome!! Always good to find another fan of manual transmission! I did a factory order, and it was still made at the plant up in Toledo, OH, but I found a better deal with the dealership in VA.

    Nice jeep!!! Congrats! Sucks you lost one of the keys. But stuff happens. Don’t let it bother you. But put an AirTag on your other key lol you can’t lose that one.

    🎉 Very beautiful video, well done. And congratulations on this new 2024 Wrangler 🚙. I'm planning to order the 2025 Sports-S 2 doors with manual transmission sometime this year when it's available to order (almost like yours except with removal hardtop, and the color would be red) . Please keep posting videos about your Wrangler so we learn from you. Any update on the lost key? Have they found it for you? Thanks for the video. 💯

      @mikhailalynn  7 месяцев назад +1

      How exciting!! I went with the soft top because I live alone, and the hard top can be tough to remove by yourself. The hard top is much nicer to have otherwise! Since getting the Jeep, I had to get my rear axle replaced (covered under basic warranty, luckily), and I actually just got a flat today (hit a nail). It was nice to have the spare ready to go on the back. No luck with the key 😢 So I guess you could say it's been a bumpy start... but I'm still really enjoying it and would do it all over again

    This has nothing to do with the Jeep - BUT I saw you're in Cleveland and wanted to say check out Duck Rabbit Coffee in Ohio City if you haven't before! I live in Chicago and thought the place was better than most of the coffee shops here tbh

      If my parents were in the business of buying their kids new cars, I wouldn’t have been driving their 2002 explorer with 200,000 plus miles throughout high school (which I was very grateful for at the time of course). I wouldn’t have driven a used, slightly beat up CRV since college because that’s what I could afford at the time. Don’t make assumptions about someone you don’t know based on what I can only assume is their gender? Age? Who knows? And please don’t go eating your hat 😅
