    You did such a great job! I just lifted my hair a week ago after not doing anything to it for three years. I definitely have some banding similar to yours in this video. I pulled the foils too early bc I was so so scared, lol. Thank you for posting this, you just saved me so much money on a color correction!!

    My hair I did myself and I’d say that it’s at a level 10 blonde, at least. I did a bleach bath on silver/white hair and I used 1 part bleach, 1 part Aussie conditioner and 2 parts developer. Plus I used some red-gold corrector. I swear by that stuff lol

    I had red and black box dye on my hair and I recently bleached it twice and it doesn’t have a lot of breakage and still feels fairly healthy so I’m gonna bleach it 2-3 more times probably because I’m currently a dark strawberry coppery ginger/dark blonde with lots of banding and patchy spots. I’m trying to get to an ash blonde at home because I don’t care if I melt my hair off lmaoo. My hair is pretty long and I’m okay with going short or dying it dark green if I have to

    • @CNZacho

      mine was red and black as well (like my pfp)
      i tried to remove the colour with colour remover (didnt do anything really)
      then i bleached it once, and the part that was black became dark brown, and my red became blonde so there was no issue with that
      then i bleached it again (the black box dye part) and it became orange
      from then on it has not lifted anymore, it stayed dark orange...
      i wonder how it went for you since u posted that a year ago x)

      @kaiaswrld Год назад +1

      @@CNZacho mine didn’t end up lifting very well. I ran out of bleach (and money) so I gave up and dyed it red. Since I commented this I’ve had fully red, light orange, purple, and copper orange hair🤣 I still want to be blonde but it’s so much work and money. I think I’m just gonna dye it brown now

    I want to do this! But I think my hair is too damaged atm to do it. I've already bleached it twice last week.. used developer once. And twice a month ago :( The first 2 times my hair was in good condition. But after these last 2 times.. I had hair breakage and now I need a haircut. But my hair is still not back to blonde that I want. OR even at the tone I want.

      You know your hair better than anyone. Use hair products with keratin to help fill in the protein in your hair so you can strengthen it before touching your hair with bleach again.

    • @stephbarker5159
      @stephbarker5159  3 года назад +2

    • @marssssssssh
      @marssssssssh 2 года назад +1

      Shampoo opens the pores of your hair to remove color/tones when bleach is applied. Conditioner would do the opposite.

    How much time did you leave between the initial bleaching and the bleach bath? I recently bleached my hair (which is a darkish brown) and noticed that it didn't lift well in certain places so I went back in with bleach right away and even afterward it was still a pale brown in some areas. I left it alone for a couple of days and I'm planning to do a hair mask (gotta go buy it first) and then go in with a bleach bath, any tips?

    • @stephbarker5159
      @stephbarker5159  3 года назад +7

      I only waited a couple of days! My hair was in decent enough condition to try it again. I hate when I miss areas while bleaching. I don't have a great way to see the back of my head. I need multiple mirrors lol
      I highly recommend getting some hair products with keratin so it can add that protein back into your hair. I use and sell Monat products that make my hair extremely healthy even though I bleach my hair. Even though there are products of there that will help your hair you still have to be careful because you can damage your hair to no return.
      I hope this helps!
      Thank you for your comment!
