- our theri got adult and some funny abilities. I still need to get familiar with them and some other things. we had less fights in this session, but, a very weird ending vs a tiny enemy XD

Thing to keep note of, sitting makes you take double damage, sleeping makes you take quadrupal damagr

That was a deinosuchus, actually, gonna say adolescent. Sarcos don't have a leg break ability. They focus on bleeding you.
Deinos are one of the modded creatures, and they grow larger than rex and deal big damage and leg break so I would not recommend messing with an adult.
thx ♥ yeah, I totally missed that there are deinos. that's why I also didn't show them among the other modded dinos at the start of my last video. I played another dino on Islander recently and while I chose it, I saw deino is available, too ^^ thx for the hint tho, I thought sarcos can also break bones. good to know :)
@@da.mombie Sarcos also have a lunge ability that combos with a charge up damage ability. It deal 210 damage and is the highest official dino's damage.

Yea That's just visual bug. Happened a lot to me too.
Beware, cocky juvi deino or adolescent always got their backup. They baiting your attention while their friends jumpin on your back, well in most Cases anyway 😆

I know I asked you some time ago already, but now where you played the game a little more, would you say its worth buying it? I'm still unsure if I should :/. The game looks fun, but can it compete with The Isle in your opinion?

thx mate ♥ in my opinion it doesn't compete with the isle. it is a different game. the isle has a very different gameplay. so, if you expect it to be like the isle, then you won't like it. if you are open minded for another kind of dino game, then it is worth a try. it is still alpha and also has many things to come. like nesting, better quests and many more. but, it is not like evrima. on community server it is more like legacy with more features.
The icon bug appear when you turn off hud, hope they fixe it

thx mate ♥ interesting. yeah, there are some bugs with the hud in general. when I played on officials I noticed that it doesn't show the next local quest, if you finish the actual local quest without the hud. well, it's an alpha game and they will fix it for sure. as long as I know it is just a bug and has no effect (broken leg), I can deal with it. at least in the future XD

The visual bug can happen randomly, you can fix it by safe logging and going back in. it can happen with bleed as well, its not harmful just annoying. Also people don't really fight theris because they are pretty strong, yesterday I managed to kill 3 rexs as a defense theri before another theri and a rex finally killed me lol.
I was hoping you'd get that bird but at least he left you alone in the end xD

I still have to get used to all the abilities and different stats, like defense theri and speed theri and which dino does what damage and so on. I'm still pretty much a noob in this game XD
@@da.mombie Yeah when you sat down I thought for sure you were going to die because you take x2 damage sitting and x4 when sleeping. When the combat update comes you'll be able to change your sub type without making a new dino, you'll lose some growth but you wont have to fully grow again. You're doing well so far! It just takes time and practice but at the end of the day what really matters is if you have fun and if you do keep doing what you're doing. ^^
@@yuehonda I have fun, finally XD I really didn't like the officials and all the quest stuff. but, on this server it feels very much like a dino game and I enjoy it. I'm the guy who has fun at failing, too ;-)
yeah, I thought I may have to sit to heal the broken bone. was a bad move ^^ luckily this mate falled back. even if I don't know why. my body was pretty red already and he/she looked quite well.
I use Def theri with shield ability and I face tank opponents.
I put a devastating damage to the packs
thx mate, as I'm pretty new to PoT I'm happy for every hint. you can't switch that (def, speed, balanced theri) later on anymore, can you?
pachys arent omnivore in pot there are strict plant eaters that only eat plants but there a herbivores who eat meat only a bit cause some herbivores dont stick to the being herbivore rule sometimes
theri is a strict plant eater as a baby when fully grown it will eat meat sometimes irl so thats why pachys eat meat in pot
thx, but, sorry, I'm confused. first you say pachys aren't omnivore in pot and at the end that pachys eat meat in pot, too. are they able to switch their metabolism to eat?
@@da.mombie pachys are herbivore im confused too how they arent omnivore but some herbivores dont stick to the rule and eat meat sometimes not often
@@S0LAAARRRRR but, to be able to eat meat, they have to have an option to change it in the abilities. if so, then pachy has to be an omnivore, I guess :/
