I can think of two games that could be made off this idea. In the first one, you're a construction worker who worked on building an Aperture Science testing facility in Africa: Cave Johnson figured that it would be cheaper than operating in the US. Your character wasn't told exactly what the project was, but he spent enough time looking over the blueprints to know that there was some extremely sophisticated hardware going into it, and he figures it was some sort of military research base. Him and everyone else on the project got paid a hefty sum to shut up about it, and since then he's tried to move on with his life, but when the 7 hour war breaks out, he figures it's the safest place to go. The first game would be more of a shooter along the lines of Half Life 2. He gathers up some of his friends and family, and has to fight through the hordes of invading Combine troops to get them to the safest place he can think of; the facility he helped build. It could end with the player reaching the facility, being let in by the facility AI, and being given stasis beds for everyone he brought with him, on the condition that some of them agree to be test subjects.
The second one would be them acting as test subjects, trying to survive the tests the AI can throw at them. They have to solve puzzles and work together to stay alive. You could even give it a happy ending along the lines of Portal 2, where they're released from the facility long after the Combine have left Earth, and are given a fresh start. It would make sense for the Africa location to have a remote communication with the US facility, so maybe they could be released when GLaDOS develops Atlas and Peabody for the perpetual testing initiative?
I think it could be a cool spinoff. We don't really know what's going on in the rest of the world in the Half Life series: Africa, Asia, Australia, and South America never really get mentioned. Even in North America, we only really know what happens in Half Life 1, after that the only info comes from Portal. I think the idea has potential because setting the story on a whole new continent would mean that it would work a standalone game; you could tell a new story without having to worry about it affecting the rest of the story.

One of the rooms, you activate a force field to stop you so you can land on a walkway and Wheatley is all, "HA! I knew you couldn't.. oh wait you were trying to solve the puzzle..."

I like that Wheatley thinks that Chell's vandalism is bad while he's keeping a real human as a test subject against her own will
Plus, he's destroying the entire facility and almost made a reactor core explode.
kinda like how GLaDOS calls you a monster and a murderer when she spent the entirety of the first game and a good chunk of the second actively trying to kill you

It’s a shitfest of an extra puzzle doing it for the achievement. The salt is worth it tho.
He used noclip to get most of it, idk if it's possible to do it without noclip, but it would be way harder.
Yes, they are, you need to break them all for an achievement.
It's totally possible to do it without noclipping. It just takes a little work and you get an achievement if you do.
Funny thing is, the turrets seem to hate him as well. Pick up a turret and stick it in front of him and it will let the monitor have it.

Because you found a really good piece of content to put up. I didn't even know you could get an interesting reaction out of wheatley from smashing his screens. I think a lot of people didn't. So rather than play through the game again, they just wanna see it on a youtube clip quickly.
You basically caught lightning in a bottle because I don't think there's anyone else with this particular series of clips. Good luck finding something so obscurely interesting a second time though. Especially something for a game as stupidly popular as Portal 2.

I’ve noticed that a lot of portal 2 videos have passive-aggressive sarcastic pins mocking the Wheatley’s of the chat and I just love it. Like the game is bleeding out into the real world. Like a deer, born in Aperture and allowed to leave because it’s a useless deer.

L7vanmatre I agree wholeheartedly. If there was an X button to close the end card, it'd just be a minor inconvenience, annoying at worst, but the way end cards are right now, they obstruct the video and can't be closed. And this is even worse on a phone with already limited screen space.
