hey friends it has come to my attention that the mini-video at 3:00 is still gibberish when you play on 0.25x speed because i forgot to pitch it down. oops! just imagine im saying the following: the excursion funnel crouch fly glitch is a glitch that lets you preserve the zero-gravity state of funnels. by crouching while at a full stop in a funnel, the game thinks you're in two funnels, so when you leave your funnel, the game still thinks you are in one funnel and therefore gives you zero gravity. this state can be preserved between levels and makes chapter 8 speedruns very broken. you can honestly make out the audio if you watch it while reading the text, its just very high pitched lol

It's worth noting that there's also a monitor in that first room that you skip, although I'm pretty sure it's protected and it would also of course be a huge time loss if you didn't skip that room. I've tried regularly tossing cubes at it, tossing cubes behind my head while jumping which feels like a stronger throw, and even closing cubes into the door and then releasing them, which shoots them out like bullets and can even kill Chell, but if I recall correctly, they still didn't destroy the monitor! Even if you had to use a bullet cube, I think there would be quite a large degree of randomness in where they go, although I haven't tried setting them in the exact same pixel positions.
Aside from the "bunny hopping" and cheat codes, there's an additional monitor that can be broken with bombs prior to the final fight with Wheatley. See if you can find it.
You can. It works different based on whether or not you’ve preserved crouch fly from a previous map. If you got fly glitch on the current map, you can crouch/uncrouch to cancel If you got fly glitch on a previous map, you need to enter a funnel to cancel the glitch
