This has to be one of the best Misfits live shows ever.
11-11-1997 in Mpls is another one of the best (also the same tour). ruclips.net/video/DcVIKI7Uvkk/видео.html
31 songs. good show boys
I post this same comment on every misfits video I see. Thank you guys! Thank you for picking toad's place in New Haven Connecticut to film dig up her bones video. It was a night My aging memory will never forget.
1:03:48 I like that they keep alternating who sings the final chorus on each version of This Island Earth:
"we're living on this island earth (this island earth)"
in the studio version, this part is sung by Graves, then Jerry does the backing with "(this island earth)". On EvilLive II, Chud sings it and Graves does the backing vocal. In this show Graves does the main and the backing part in the first line and then for the next line Jerry does the main part and Graves does the backing
And that's the best part of the song. Also in that chorus, notice there is what I could only call a three part harmony in descending notes while the main vocal ends on a higher note. Simply Brilliant!
I saw them on the same tour in Atlanta in 98. Loved that show! Thanks for posting this!
Masquerades?
Yeah. Was amazing!
@@Flying_turnip187 I was there too brother. That was an awesome show. 🎃
@@williamblasko1031 ah man…that was epic. I got to go backstage and meet the band. Got all their autographs and a picture! One of my best concerts ever!
@@Flying_turnip187 I got Chud's autograph but that was it. AWESOME show though. I'm from TyTy, but it was 1000% worth the drive. Everyone was singing along and having a blast. One of the best shows I ever saw, and at this point, that's saying something. 🎃
Jerry is amazing on this one.full of adrenaline
See, they got it from the Ramones, but they DON'T STOP. Just bam, bam bam, quick fire. Keep that fuckin energy going.
Watch from 9:09 "American Psycho" into "Walk Among Us" that seamless transition right there. Fuckin awesome. It's little things like that, that can really fuckin MAKE a band. When I joined MK UltraViolence (my band now) I restructured the set so we could do that. If a song ends on A, next song should START on A. Little things like that go a LONG fuckin way
if you watch them play 3 songs in japan in 2000 i think.. its on youtube somewhere, the transition into american psycho and walk among us is so much better. graves says (when chud starts the drum beat) "We Invite you all! To Walk Among Us!" cue WAU.
I agree and on the resurrection tour through famous monsters that's how it was. Once Mike and Doyle left....holy shit show it got slowed down. At least the gigs I saw.
I was there. It was a matinee show, which I thought was odd but it still kicked ass.
What a pity they broke up. These new songs are great, and famous monsters was still to come. I'd still rather see this line up reunion than with Misfits Danzig.
I was at the show in Orlando when they broke up. It was unreal when it happened
Crazy thing is after Graves was gone so was the Misfits
I agree. Who wants to see a fat old danzig
@@superunknown2812 I know right. Doyle followed Chud and Graves after seeing how bad the lineup was without them
@@xx7secondsxxsaw them about a week later in PA. It was awful and saddening as we'd seen them many times with Michale and Chud. Never paid to see them again
I was at the one at Lupos in RI but can't remember if it was a few months before or after this one - same show. It was fricking amazing. They did something similar at RiotFest this past year with Danzig. I loved the Intros to the tours for American Psycho and Famous Monsters too.
I liked this line up the best with graves
GRACIAS saludos de CHILE xtm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jerry sucks
De donde sacas tanto material en todo caso se agradece
este hombre es un crack, navegando en foros y movidas... yo tengo algunos conciertos enteros grabados en dvd pero nada en comparación con lo que tiene Ronny
I saw them in Roanoke, VA just a few days before this
If Jerry was smart he couldve had michale graves re-imagine Danzig era songs and sell those albums, but prob wouldve had a lot of legal issues
Misfits american Psycho 🤘 🤘
conheço misfits a 40 anos tá o D é o cara mas Graves foi perfeito e dr Chudd foi o melhor batera q a banda teve J O virou um cuza....
I actually enjoy this version of The Misfits much MORE than the shitty reunions they've been doing these past several years as blatant cash grab . Besides Graves can actually hack what he does in the studio live as well the Danzig era stuff better than Mr Short Man Syndrome ever could .
Omg, a kindred soul. I've said this forever or at least since 95 when I saw them on the resurretion tour and didn't even know who the vocalist was or the drummer because well no internet. 🤣🤣
Glenn was good. No doubt, but mine statement will always be that. Michael Graves could do Glen's vocals, but I could never see Glenn singing the newer material. Like ability wise.
@@voiceofreason1208 I couldn't possibly agree more!
1:00:51 Munsters theme solo
If you look closer, it becomes more clear, that the guitar player somehow wants to dominate the vocalist
where's Misfits Fort Lauderdale 1999????? it vanished from youtube for whatever reason
Do you mean Fort Lauderdale 1998? This one should be in my videos.
Danzig is the only one but Graves is pretty cool
Danzig is Misfits, but.... Graves definitely brought something to the party.
There's at least ONE Misfits live record with decent sound?
nenhum
The best one is when they were playing with Michael's substitute myke hideous if you search for it you'll easily find it or if you want the link just ask me
First Avenue Club 1997, Essen Germany 1997, FBZ Germany 1999, Shibuya Japan 2000,… to name a few
@@RonnyEvil138 thanks a lot!!!!
@@sebastiansuarez5088 you’re welcome. Just check my page bro :)
LIVE?
How could you say that? They're just DEAD, but only in a point of view!
Ha!
why doesn't he sing in rhythm?
Not Michale Graves on vocal in this live??
Puede ser myke hidiuos
Thats michale graves
Its graves, myke hideous don't move that way
