I think they're super kool! And not even that difficult or time consuming to install! I probably spent more time measuring to be sure it was perfect, than actually installing it 😆
Bad ass bro,im glad i came across the video, but actually seen a truck in last months street truck and went to you tube to see installs, and yours is very informative and looks right at home👌🏾👍🏾💪🏾
My plan is to add a drain tube in the rear corners, run it down the b-pillar and out the cab. That should take care of any water that might make it's way in there.
When I dobthe final assembly on mine I'll be putting butyl under the frame. The other place they've been known to leak is on the front edge. I think I've heard that Legacy has improved the latching system help with that. I've seen people use those sunroof wind deflectors too and it surprisingly doesn't look horrible. Maybe a call to Legacy before you commit would be a good idea. They are super helpful, good company.
@@LTscustomgarage I read a few places that they leak on the sides... And, on all my cars I've ever owned with sunroofs, I never liked it used them. I just want this because it looks cool, and it's different than all the c10s you are everywhere.
I'd probably be looking for a guaranteed no leak on a daily too. Especially if youre not really looking for the function of it. It would leave a pretty big hole to fix lol I live in SW Florida and this truck won't see much weather other than sunshine so it wasn't a concern of mine.
I have a set of drill bits like that (but not Matco badged...I bought them on the Snap-On truck) and I love them...but at $300 for the set I almost hate to use them so they don't wear out as fast. haha
One of the very few videos I have found on these legacy sliding rags, I have a 65C 10 I’m getting ready to order one just not sure on the size.. I know yours is 35 x 20, but in the video it doesn’t look that big when it’s open? Anyway you could post some pics of it when it’s open I mean, is it worth it to get one of these?. Thank you so so much for your help. Truck is bad ass by the way.
It does open a tad bit more than in the video, but mine is small. A c10 would be larger. I've always loved these, but never had one myself. Legacy was great to work with, if you give them a call they'll tell ya exactly what size you should get for your truck, and order over the phone. They might even have some pictures of a 65 c10 with one.
Calm down on the ending? Thanks for watching till the end, I do appreciate that, but one thing you'll notice about me and my videos is, ITS ME. Ya get what ya get man 😆 I'm too old and been doing this for far too long to be anything other than what you saw 🤙
The top is killer! It is nothing I ever thought of before for my build but now I am considering it!

Awesome installation, you made it look easy.
Saving this video!
Aloha 🤙😎
Thanks!
Needed this video, have been kicking around the idea of doing one in my cutlass . You make it look straight forward , sweet truck btw
It's not a bad install at all. Much easier than I anticipated. Taking your time and measuring is key. And thanks!
That top is sweet bud. Love them sliding rags!!!
I've always wanted to do one! Not sure why it took me so long to get one lol
Thanks for the how-to. I am starting mine here in the next couple of days.
I seen you got a new project. I wish you all the fun and luck with it!
@LTscustomgarage new, and I'll work on improved, project. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! And thanks for watching too, glad it was informative for you! I love these sliding rags.
Looks Nice, A Cool Thing Would be To make That Rear Window To Go Down Electronically Like In A Honda Del Sol.
Yeah! I actually did think about that. It would really open it up
Looking good!
Thanks. It was a fun project.
🤘🏼
Nice- what happens to water that collects in the sliding track?

That's dope. I'm thinking about adding one to my bagged 69 f100.
That would be cool. It's a pretty easy install too.
@@LTscustomgarage I'm just worried about it leaking since I daily mine.
