@@markchayer325 Perhaps you lived an easy life where you can just run away from your pain. But a lot of us can't run away. We have to face it. So when has their darkness and expresses it, like us, we feel less alone and scared. I think people like you have the luxury of thinking tragic songs have no good effect, when in reality, a lot of us have lived tragic lives. Anyone who has been through a severe point in life will understand that, a sad song is better than a happy one. Because the sad song addresses the pain instead of burying it. Because there's no way to bury it when in it's in every corner you turn. You have a very shallow perspective here. Open it to all of the possibilities which I'm sure are a bit obvious within her community.
