Great content thank you! Have you looked at which Super funds are the best overall (taking into account fees, customer service, performance and included benefits?) I'm wondering if it's worth switching to a different provider but it's so hard to get a good comparison.
Thanks for the kind words! I haven't done a video looking at the overall rankings, but others like Canstar and Superguide often consider other fund attributes that could be useful! Hope these links are handy! 1. www.canstar.com.au/superannuation/compare/best-performing-super-funds/ 2. www.superguide.com.au/comparing-super-funds/super-fund-year-awards
Host plus, their ‘choice plus’ option where you choose index funds or LICs to invest in and in what ratios. It’s really important though that you look at the insurance and apply and get accepted for the insurance before you roll over and close other accounts
@@BrentColemanI was thinking that.. could you do a video on this. You video is great but other things need to be considered. This would be a very popular video
Hey Brent , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
Some people are just indoctrinated into the Great Australian Ponzi scheme where they think that buying a $100,000 property for $850,000 is a better, less risky decision than buying the top 300 ASX companies in an ETF. We truly do live in an upside down clown world
Return before or after administration costs etc?
It's a shame your valid and important question was not answered.
came here with the same question

Don't use Aware Super
I wonder why GESB is not rated.
Why do aussies pay 7,200,000,000 in fees per year to super funds? Answer me that? Its the biggest scam for big business.
Same as New Zealand probably - poor lawmaking!
Can you please do a video on Raiz Super?
Any more clarity on geared funds???
Use debt to leverage higher returns. But with that comes higher downside risk. i.e. prices rise, profits multiply... prices drop and drops multiply
@@Nerdificationing thank you so maybe a 20% exposure if I'm willing to take a small risk?
Happy with my REI Super…..

💥 WHY DID YOU MISS SPACESHIP ?
Gold would have outperformed all superfunds on a long term basis
It certainly depends on the asset allocation and fees. www.statista.com/statistics/1061434/gold-other-assets-average-annual-returns-global/
Those gains may look good on paper but if market crashes then your screwed. If you don't hold it, you don't own it.
if the market crashes your only screwed if you withdraw like any other share.
otherwise your buying cheap units and waiting till the market recovers. Any novice knows that.

if market as whole crash, its great
Dumb comment
Australian Super should be called Indian Super, good luck talking to an Aussie when calling them.
