I think we put so much pressure to have clean tidy homes that we are missing out making the memories and just getting out the house xx
Shan I needed this! I’m 4 months in and starting to feel like I’m drowning slightly in the mundane tasks of life. The first time round I was out of the house every day making the most of my time off but this time I feel like a slave to the routine at home. I need to adopt your attitude! X
Omg that EXACTLY how I was feeling!!! It’s weird cause there’s obvs so much to do everyday but you don’t feel like you actually DO anything!!!

I do park & ride a lot with my 2 year old son on Fridays and he loves it. Planning more train journeys next.
My son is wild when it’s both parents. It’s why I do the weekly shop alone with him - also the lidi pastries help too 😂
I enjoyed this so much. I can relate to everything! I wasn't able to go out with my first because of covid and now with my second I'm almost putting up my own barriers to going out! This is just what I needed to see! X

Totally relate to this! I am 6 months into my mat leave and I have to force myself to get out. Sometimes the trips out are great and sometimes my daughter gets fussy straight away! But sometimes just walk around the shops is enough x
Glad you got out Shan. I use to get out more with my first. But now when I have 2 kids, it's not really happening anymore. I did get out on my own with both of them to the park

Oh I recognise that town I live about half hour away , really want to try this primark was it any good ?
Shan I’ve watched and followed you from when you were pregnant with George as I was pregnant at the same time with my daughter. I then fell pregnant for the second time and not long after you announced your were also pregnant again, so have done both pregnancy together😊. The town you have just been to in this video is also my next town I’m about 20/25 mins from there😊. I have felt your pain at times, my oldest has been amazing but my youngest when she was born was so different and extremely hard work until we changed her milk and. she was a different baby over night. But the same as you, things do get better it doesn’t last for ever. Even though it feels like it at the time lol. But yeah just thought I’d say hi 😆

Thank you so much! It’s been a long time coming I think, we get out a fair bit, but I never vlog really! It’s normally to the standard softplay/swimming/park.. but the park and ride was fun!!
And on potty training.. I’m honestly no expert and have made pretty much every mistake in the book, so I don’t know if a video from me would be that helpful 😅😂 we’re still getting there if I’m honest!! Xxx
@@HomeWithShan I struggle getting out with my daughter let alone trying to vlog and have another child! It’s nice to see what tips you have out and about for the kids even if it’s at soft play!
Oh haha yes I have probably made a few mistakes too with potty training! But think we are getting there now. As you are so organised I thought you might have some ideas 😉
How does she find the car ? I kinda feel stuck at home cause my 2 month old hate the car and scream the whole time , doesn't fall asleep
Oh no! Tbh it’s the only place that she’s generally happy, as long as the car is moving😂😂 if we stop at traffic lights all hell breaks loose!
