- The Tomorrowverse is a series of DC animated movies that are all set in the same universe which began in 2020 with the release of the universe’s namesake Superman: Man of Tomorrow and since then has added the likes of Justice Society: World War II, Batman: The Long Halloween Parts 1 and 2, Green Lantern: Beware my Power and most recently Legion of Superheroes as well as the upcoming Justice League: Warworld and across all those movies dozens of superheroes have been introduced like the Justice Society on Earth-2, the Justice League on Earth-1 or the Legion of Superheroes in the far future.

the reason barry wasn't punished was because he wasn't in control of his actions. john used a spell on him, forcing him to reset the universe because he knew there was no other way. right before the second flashpoint is created, barry specifies that he doesn't want to go through with it, but he strangely does so right after.
I didn’t even realize that he put a spell on Barry I just thought he convinced him to do it cause ngl what John said made a lot of sense any world flash could create at that point would be a better option than what they were living in now
I always thought it was him agreeing with John, what he said sounded convincing enough to me.
I really want a Vixen film. She was used so well in the Arrowverse animated series. She’d be amazing in her own animated film and also in live action film

Seeing the shorts getting tied in to the main movies is just satisfying in my opinion. They do have their heads on their bodies over at DC sometimes because this whole universe was years in the making and took some solid planning and as a big fan I have to appreciate that.
Zatanna needs a solo movie. Animated or live-action. It’s her time.

I like that the earth two Superman was an orphan, because the original Superman who was introduced in the 30s was an orphan and wasn't raised by the Kents. It's a nice nod to his origins. Also the reason why Hawkman recognizes Kent is he may look similar to Nabu who inhabits Dr. Fates helmet who was also the magical advisor to Hawkmans original Pharo personality.

The models of this show are gorgeous, i dont know how well the action translate like the first set of DC films, but you can pause this at any point and it always looks good.
The "orange hair" guy is Jedikiah Rikane, aka Power Boy, a perennial Academy student with the ability to alter his density at will, and eventually married Gravity Kid.

It was a spell Constantine did while utilizing Barry running back in time to sort of change time back in the way he wanted without doing leg work
His name is Lou, as in Luuuu. Second, the universe wasn't punishing Constantine. Where he was sent was supposed to be a paradise prison for him, surrounded by friends and family, but his guilt twisted it. That's why everyone keeps killing him, he thinks that's what he deserves for his failure to save the other universe.
I'm really Enjoying most of These Movies ( Except Green Lantern), they aren't the best Written movies but they are Fun To watch.
@connor the ending is really mediocre with the twist villain. Plus for me I found Green Arrow to be really unfunny which dragged down the entire movie.

Constantine: The House of Mystery is a short film that makes a bridge between the old and the new universe too, but the animation is different, like that wonder woman movie in the previest universe
I just don't like how disjointed everything is. Like when the heck was the justice league formed in this universe they just skipped it entirely. And skipped a battle between supes and brainiac
That last Legionaire you thought was Sun-Boy is a character named Power-Lad. He was in the academy in the comics.
The girl who's face down in LSH looks more like Catspaw than anyone else and the Legionnaire you couldn't identify is Power Boy (Secret I.D., Jed Rikane).
There’s also the theory that the homeless man John saved in Green Lantern was actually Constantine after seeing what exactly his actions did to the universe.

@@internetgoat4831 Well, in the that it ends with John going in the rift, but we never see what he saw or it would do to him, just that it be a fate worst than death as John begged The Spectre to kill him. It never states where he went.

Tbh the ending of House of Mystery feels like it's setting up the Anti-Monitor and the crisis of infinite earths.
The fact that Supergirl is in this new Universe now kinda helps assist this theory of mine.

I still really hate how they wasted Hal Jordan like that Tomorrowverse. I want him to return in Rebirth style, but the staff will never let that happen. And I also hope Tomorrowverse version of Wonder Woman also appears soon, not the parallel Earth version in JSA:WW2 movie.
The legion of superheroes movie was very interesting story not my favorite far form it but just okay at best.

I think Legion of Super Hereos is the future because in this time line they gave a cannon reason why the Green Lantern Core and the Oa Controllers/Guardians have dissapered in the future. That they were devestated in Beware my power.
In both the comics and live action there is one heaven and one hell. The animated timelines have multiple after lives hence multiple the specters.
It was the same Constantine, pretty sure he mentions Zatanna should be dead and remembers himself making a deal with Spectre to broadcast his sentence

Yup. Power Boy. In the comics an actual member of the he was one of the original members of the Legion Academy, tried to join the LEgion once but ultimately didn't make it. He can "manipulate his density"

I've never really been much of a dc fan, but the dcau and tomorrowverse have me intrigued in these two sets of movies. I have a question though, am I supposed to be reading a tie in comic for tomorrowvers? Because a lot happens within a later movie that doesn't get explained so I'm wondering of it's because I'm supposed to be reading the comics too

There's no comics that tie directly to this universe. I think I know what you mean though. In Green Lantern there's a lot of context that feels missing but that's just from weak writing and a lack of cohesion with the rest of the films.

I'm interested in these movies but this art style irks me. I understand what look & feel they're going for but it's not for me.
One thing I hope to see in the DCU from the Wildstorm universe is Gen13, i'm probably the only one who wants them but they are one of my favorite teams in DC.
Why didn't they take their time with establishing the Justice League? Didn't they learn anything from the Snyderverse? Beware My Power should have just been about Hal and John, why did we have to include GA and HG. They totally nerfed the Sinestro Corps
My main issue with the legion of superheroes is they dont seem like they are from the future at all. From their names to their designs, they come across very golden age. like the lack of originality in their super hero names, using Lad or lass, the only futuristic one seems like Braniac.
I thought it was Constantine himself who was torturing himself like that in the house of mystery because he didn't think he deserved to have a happy ending.
The Spectre was only trying to imprison him in the house of mystery forever, albeit with his loved ones and in a happy life. It was John's guilt that turned it all into a nightmare.
I would prefer a universe with Justice League Gods and Monsters instead of the hero and multiverse dropping. Also the Legion movie animation was weird.. It felt like Archer which isnt a good thing for action in 2023
