I know a lot of previous comments have mentioned this - but the transparency that we get to see on all channels across Jazza Studios (TTT, Jazza, Jaza studios, Jazza records) is something that I really don't see on youtube like this anymore! The open honesty with struggles and admittance that some things didn't work as planned instead of the "Yes, this was all perfect, and nothing has ever gone wrong" vibe. Its an even bigger testament to yall, thay you can really roll with anything thrown the way, and make it the best it can be with the limitations that have been given.
I think it’s great and very important you have someone like Gareth who will tell you no when needed. The fact you listen also shows great respect for your team.
I gotta agree with Gareth; y’all’s transparency is one of the biggest draws for me to watch every channel y’all have. You’re all wonderful creators with great personalities, which makes for excellent content no matter what you’re doing, but the honesty and transparency is so refreshing and, frankly, helpful for others with aspirations to do the things y’all do!! Or for nerds like me who’ve just always loved “behind the scenes” stuff on movies, I just like to see how it all works; some folks may feel it weakens the magic to know how the clock is made, but I think it strengthens my appreciation of it, and makes it even more magical.
Transparency but plagerizing content without a shout out to the original poster... Nerdecrafter did this exact video 3y ago and they've met in person and collaborated various times in the past....
@@uribove how…how could this be stolen ideas? It’s a vlog about what Jazza does when he’s out of ideas. If you love NerdECrafter you know darn well she wouldn’t think this was plagerising at all... Not to mention Jackie’s done loads of Crayola videos but I don’t see this specific product. Regardless, if you watched Jazza’s actual video you’d see he made his own using copic inks. The yay art community isn’t about stirring up issues between people who know each other better than you know them, so maybe be more kind.
@@bootercup001 the vlog no, the video discussed in it is... She did Crayola Copics 3 years ago... So if you say he gives soooooo much transparency, I'd hope he wouldn't plagerize ideas...
@@uribove please reread my comment, as I edited it to include more info. Also, copic is a brand, not the same as crayola. I am 100% certain Jackie would not approve of you speaking like this. Jazza is incredibly transparent, and that’s one of the reasons I started following the dude. Maybe you should consider some self evaluation; it seems like you dislike him for reasons that aren’t exactly valid? If you don’t like someone, that’s fine, but don’t claim someone is plagerizing their actual friend when you have no proof; Jackie doesn’t need you to defend her and as one of the grains in the salt shaker family I know for a fact she wouldn’t approve of your tone or what you’re implying.
@@bootercup001 you don't see this specific product? Search for "nerdecrafter Crayola Copics" on youtube and you see her do the exact same video 3 years ago... Using the Crayola Marker Maker with various inks including alcohol inks to make her own Copics with the Crayola Marker Maker Also I've been following Jazza for longer than i do NerdeCrafter so I don't dislike him.. But it's just blatant copying
I hope one day you would do leather tooling and leather dyeing video. Maybe make yourself some armor or a bag pack or a wallet. Can’t wait to see what you can do with this traditional craft that is way overdue for some modern motifs.
I never consider those 'easy' videos as 'cheat' videos. Personally, I love the variety. Big or small projects, fun, silly, seriously epic... it's all good.
I've been watching Jazza for so many years that I still remember the singing! Lmao So I love seeing Jazza being a Dad. He's the great Dad I always knew he would be! Tbf though, many big kids make great parents! Lmaooo Love you Jazza💕
Back when I was making it a thing to post videos weekly on my channel, I had a 3 week vacation lined up I wanted to schedule in advance for. I did a timed challenge for that period because I wanted to try it out and it limited the amount of time I would spend producing the video. At that time I think the raw footage of a video took me like 3-5 hours to record, then I would go into making a voice over and such. With the timed challenge it all came together in around an hour, including editing and thumbnail and stuff. It wasn't a secret that I made that to have a smaller time footprint, but if anything, the timed challenge aspect took a lot more out of me than a 5-hour chill time with a playlist in the zone did. It was an interesting experience both to feel it and to understand the emotional journey that can happen from something like that. Plus, I did end up having enough content scheduled for my vacation and some extra wiggle room :)
It's a great idea to have some quick backup ideas on hand. There is going to happen something sometime. Loved the marker maker video. I never got toys like that when I was a kid, and I don't feel like buying them now that I'm an adult. Seeing someone playing with them is always fun.
Idea for a potential video (pleaseeee?) : a lot of your followers are not from Australia, it would be really cool to see you outdoor for once, like painting or taking animals as live models for sculpting. I'm sure you could make it fun! Some of those animals move a lot after all.
One calculation that might fit your planning. How accessible is it for my viewers. By which I mean, the big stuff is inspirational - but the small stuff that you mentioned was performing well? To a video, those were topics I felt I could do with a relatively small investment. Redoing bad art into my art, felting, using crayons kits to make something decent…etc. etc. Don’t really care about a $600 pencil unless someone’s giving me one…but something I could do? Interest +
Love that you didn't edit out the box fart and the hanger squeak, along with the brainstorming and getting feedback from Gareth and the reading aloud of the question. Also, I need to go back and watch the one with your daughter painting... How did I miss that one?
I really like the behind the scenes content and transparency. It reminds me of the achievement hunter/rooster teeth stuff that they film in the office. Even though that stuff is usually skits/them playing around, you get to see what’s going on in the office which is cool, and get to see people doing things that aren’t featured in the main content. It also reminds me of Nigahigas behind the scenes stuff from a while ago, filming the whole process and stuff. It’s fun to see creative minds at work.
I’m lucky that I live so close to one of the very last Kmarts in the US. It’s shrinking in size every few months. It’s so sad to see it closing so slowly and painfully. I’ve always loved shopping at Kmart. There’s so many things I could get there at a good price
My family and I watch together. We’d really like to see how you manage all the content. Specifically how do you keep track of all the memory cards? Love the channels! Thanks for making things we can watch as a family!!
Hey jazzman do a video on collaging on furniture I have a table I wanna plaster with comic pics printed out and seal it with gloss clear spray paint but I'm having issues with paper wrinkling and not sure what glue to use that won't effect the spray paint
Q: How does the team think about the studio so far? It seems to be more work than it was before. What does Gareth think about the bigger projects? Does he miss the intimity, ones there was just he and Jazza?
Have you considered creating an Art Competition series like Chopped? Every 3 episodes could have you bring in 4 art influencers to compete in the 3 art challenges. The competitors could win a prize and/or exposure. It could be a seasonal series given the logistics.
I would love to see a video of you using terrain elements usually used for table top time to create a non-table top piece of art! (Ie minis and grass tufts and resin pours to make a portrait)
Q: How do you balance keeping a space organized and hoarding everything for your improve ideas? This might be a better explanation for your past studios when you had much less space. I've been trying to compact all of my stuff into my room. Thankfully, I like a lot of digital stuff so that helps. I have noticed less talking intros for the smaller videos. Not sure if I like it or if it's just a change to adapt to. Right now, it just feels like something is missing on the video.
So I have a quick question, how do you plan out bigger projects? Do you plan ahead, like a month ahead, or do you get working on it weeks before the shoot?
That's amazing that you were able to find a video idea in such little time. But maybe in that time you could've focused on your music channel. I just feel like it needs a little more attention from you. But I can't wait to see B painting with you!
Q: Does Gareth take have his own arty hobbies such as arty or table top related? Also i think he could have a pretty successful vlog becuase he has a great on camera personality. Unapologetically Gareth's no.1 fan XD
I love your content usually, but this video felt a bit distanced for me. The question was about art and creativity block, but the answer was about what you do when you run out of content ideas. So my question is this: Q: Do you ever miss "just" being an artist, and not having to constantly create CONTENT? Do you feel like you get to do enough art, the way the youtube channel is right now?
so what I have learnt is jazza hay Gareth lets do this dumb thing and its Gareth's job to rain him in as much as possible and do everything minus being on camera to make it possible then jazza bounces away thinking it was a wonderful idea
make poster has skull in it. some kinda weight lift inspiration saying. make jazzer get shape montoshes vedio. take clips what done over corses 3 years squesh down 30 minutes cool music. watch rocke boxer movie or batman vs superman for inspiration. actually make 20 minutes montoshes. have 10 comerical middle for either t-shirts or art kits. 10 minutes exercise commercial 10 minute epic jazzer buffnessess.

Can’t wait to see little B painting with her daddy. That clog was so adorable. I’ve watched it several times. 🥰
Thanks, Jazza! Love what you do! Your little girl is so cute! So adorable! 🥰💖😍
The happiness I felt with Caroline using my question is indescribable 😅
And I have to say, many of the “cheap” videos are some of my favorites! I loved the marker maker :)
All hail Gareth, the voice of reason.
I am sure there are loops in his nightmares like Scotty yelling “ but I cannot change the laws of physics Captain!”

Love watching your behind the scenes process, also so fun to see dad-hood in such a fun light on the internet!

"I'm also looking after this little bun for a while"
Cut to the "little bun" playing with a scalpel.
Yeah... about that... 😅
i love these type of videos 🙂
I wanna see wood carving from Jazza
I think no matter what you do for a video its always amazing even if its something as small as watching you make markers from a kids marker making set
Question: The quick mention of Garreth as the right-hand man got me thinking, what is the command-structure of the studio? :)
Would really love to see a video of you doing Chinese/Japanese painting using those Chinese brushes & ink.
A cute video idea would be to fix the paint job on Mini Brands toys for Jackie / NerdECrafter.

Walking into Kmart you looked dodgey as

I really don't want to see videos about making youtube videos. I just want to see good content. That's all.
