His ability is to convert anything to their Roman counterpart. He turned zeus into his roman counterpart, Jupiter, making zeus susceptible to Romulus absolute authority, allowing him to defeat zeus

If you're curious where Ishtar's bull of heaven actually went, to my knowledge, it's apparently stolen by another Ishtar in a different fate work called fate/strange fake. She's very different than the dorky Ishtar we know in fgo since that Ishtar inhabits a homonculus, therefore she is purely Ishtar in terms of personality with no external influence like Rin's personality.

@@ancy1205 i can say there is gods that love and care and show it time to time but Ishtar without the rin seems to be more brutal she’s a war goddess and known for her mythology as being prideful and also she may not be evil but a war goddess without humanity can be dangerous even her description says
ishtar in Fate/strange Fake has her raw personality of "a horrible being who doesn't understand the human heart." The description of her character is "add Rin Tohsaka and Luviagelita Edelfelt, divided by two and subtract most of the humanity."
Also even in fgo you can see the Ishtar parts being reckless and able to cause problems

Just like how you get fatter or thinner, you are still the same person but your stamina, physical health and how people perceive you become different. Zeus in Lostbelt is stronger than Romulus but the effect still reduce Zeus' Power
Quirinus is said to be the "God of Roman State" and so anything roman is under his authority. I can see your point since I noticed that Romulus=Quirinus nullify most of Zeus's defensive buffs

As for The Romani that we see in LB5...its Heavily speculated as you said to be Goetia's reincarnation BUT as for Solomon not being able to be summoned I Think that might just be a Lie in-universe...This is because if I'm remembering correctly in the Moonlight Lostroom OVA We apparently...see someone picking up one of the Ten rings of Solomon that were left on the throne
You can't summon a grand servant in it's grand status, you can lower their rank and summon them as EX Rank Servants

It's gonna be Arthur. During the end of the battle with Harlot, Gramps and Noah were battling on the frontlines with Arthur and as he was releasing all 13 seals on Excalibur, was told that his time to unleash his true role and class wasn't at that moment. That it would be against a beast far more foul than her. Thus Noah finished off Harlot and Arthur continued his journey after reprimanding his Merlin for causing all the trouble out of her boredom.

Wait, his true role and class???? Does that imply that there is a chance that Arthur might not be saber but a different one? Grand saber would be expected, but his true class as a grand servant is a whole different matter.
Personally, I'm hoping grand saber isn't either version of Musashi. Arthur has the skills, and his legend's impact on humanity is just way heavier. Plus there's the matter of him talking about tracking a Beast class he was fighting. And there's a poetic factor of the end of FGO hearkening back to the early Fate concept of having King Arthur fighting in this fictional story
but musashi fits better arthur is acually not much better than artoria as stated in the lore. avalon the scabbard being the summoning difference vs arthur being slightly more skilled. even in real life he was a good swordsman but excalibur did the heavy lifting. musashi was all skill.

Grand Berseker samson from the bible. He fits all the roles. he had spells of rage where he would do irreparable damage hes brash and arrogant. He has feats like felling armies with a donkeys jawbone. His only weakness was a haircut and his love of delilah lol. Plus his best trump card was when he was humbled and prayed to god for forgiveness and as a noble phantasasm that final prayer, humility, and repentace would be epic like maybe making him able to use the maximum bersek madness seal with complete full mental clarity or something at the cost of losing all his strength once its over.

His wicked gentile wife Delilah cut his hair in his sleep and so he lost it and after he was enchained and had his eyes gouged out and became a clown for the philistines he finally repented of his wickedness and begged the lord for one last use of his strength to destroy the arena and slay all the philistines as well as himself and the lord allowed samson one final use of his strength to which he did the aforementioned act and died.
I like the idea that Merlin is SUCH a good caster but he CAN'T be the grand one because he's so proficient that there's no way to completely remove him from Avalon
In fate arcade there's a female Merlin called Lady Avalon. She's not grand caster either for some reason but she definitely could be one. Unlike our Merlin, she's not trapped in Avalon

I just want to see Romani in the story again. He was and is my favourite GO character.
I’d argue Achilles is a strong option for grand berserker. It would also provide an explanation for why Achilles rider doesn’t hold a grudge even though in the Iliad holding grudges is basically his whole character.
I can't wait for Lostbelt 7. I believe it is possible we get to see two Grand Servants in that story since we learned that The Alien God is currently on South America, and we already know Daybit somehow has a Grand of his own.
We might also see ORT as it crash landed in South America?
@@adamchu2001 Yes. Rasputin even confirmed that ORT (an Ultimate One) is sleeping there. If they brought it up & make a reference to it, it's definitely a foreshadowing that we'll get to see it, maybe even fight it.

I personally think that Scathach could be a candidate for Grand Lancer. She has connections with the divine, can cast runes of that level of power, slain many god like creatures, and is basically in charge of the gates to the Land of Shadows. She even has a Merlin situation, where she can’t be summoned until the planet is destroyed. Since this happens in the future, we can technically do it now (I think, I hope I’m not getting the lore mixed up again. Fate is so confusing). Another candidate could be Altera, if certain conditions are met.
A Servant I really hope comes soon, especially in the Grand level, is Ado Edem, otherwise known as Slash Emperor in Nasu’s first story Notes, followed by another Grand Servant candidate Gun God, holder of the Black Barrel in the same story. I think they are perfect because one of them is just a guy fighting demigods/Full God like beings, and winning, and the other being, quote “the very embodiment of Humanity.” Slash Emperor “destroys the world in order to protect Humans.” If this isn’t the perfect choice to protect a species from an invading alien force, I don’t know what is.
True that. Too bad all her competitors ( Romulus, Karna, Lartoria and Enkidu) have a power up in different singularities and lost belts but she doesn't.

They're still devastatingly powerful but we haven't seen enkidu as berserker... Which by quote would've been divine class power at the level of strength that would've granted that Magus the divinity he sought.

I really think Arthur should be Grand saber. It makes the most sense thematically with King Arthur's massive relevance to the Franchise. Musashi makes sense because FGO was created in Japan but I think the swordsman everyone knows and thinks of first Is Arthur Pendragon the king of knights
Most likely but this is fgo we talking bout they could make some kind of plot twist or just throw random shit to the story.
Plus, the "King of Knights" is just a title, that says nothing about his skill as a swordsman compared to every other swordsman who ever lived. King Arthur is only famous for leading a kingdom & a band of knights, but that doesn't automatically make him the best & most capable swordsman who ever lived. The real Musashi Miyamoto was probably better at swordsmanship than King Arthur, who spent more time sitting on a throne & commanding a kingdom than actual sword fighting.
@@Animebryan2 i agree, i rather they choose someone who is known for the best skill with the sword than choosing someone already relevant to the franchise. FGO is known to bring previously unknown heroes and make them popular and relevant. FGO as a whole added more servants to the entire Fate franchisee than other Fate series combined.

There probably is a timeline where Emiya went on to become a well known hero we just probably won’t ever see it .

I mean he states in unlimited blade works that just because something is fake or borrowed it doesn't mean it can't surpass the original. Meaning he essentially did fake it till you make it for his ideals.
Plus other heros are similar in not having a reason for what they did.

I have a strong feeling that Abe no Seimei will be the next grand caster he’s basically the Merlin of the east and a master of Yin and Yang ☯️ and from what we’ve seen what Douman is capable of and it been stated that Abe no Semei was the best it’s safe to say he’s definitely a grand caster candidate. Also he has the same clairvoyance as Merlin
That would be interesting, even if not as a grand, I would like to see him appearing to fight Douman. Douman has always one of the most evil and tricky enemies. Always got trick up his sleeve. According to lore, Abe no Semei is his archenemies and the one person he can not win against.

I believe Arcade confirmed that Proto Arthur isn't a Grand, with his appearance against Mother Harlot. IIRC they mentioned they were fighting with two Grands (or Grand candidates not sure, Proto Merlin and Hassan) and a "Beast Hunter" (Arthur)
They didn't confirm nor deny he was a Grand candidate. Just that he wasn't a Grand right in that moment. Proto Merlin wasn't a Grand either in that fight.

Merlin will forever be a candidate... he is still alive and therefore cannot be summoned as a servant. I don't think that he will ever be a servant to be honest, he just plays a different role.

As we know Gardian/Grand wasnt summon as Angra wasnt born yet, but even weak alive Angra from grail is indeed creepy.
Angra's mud shows the 'evils of humanity' nothing more it corrodes the current texture of the World but even then a Grand wont get deployed until mainly a Beast Class which is capable of destroying Humanity by itself. If Angra did get summoned at most multiple counter guardians would be deployed.

I want Grand Saber to be neither Musashi or Arthur but Galahad. Galahad from Fate/Requiem wield his two swords, the Sword of Strange Hangings that originally belong to David and presumably the sword of Sir Balin, also pulled from the stone with seals restricting it. It would pull things together lore wise since technically Galahad is related to Solomon through David and he is the hero to have officially won the Holy Grail since he was the purest of them all, perfect for a Grand Servant. Probably not gonna happen but I would be so psyched to see it.
And then we find out thats why Galahad disappeared because as a grand servant he was needed elsewhere and not constrained to the shielder class

In my view, Daybit's Grand Servant (besides the 90% chance of being a Berseker) will most likely be a South American being.
The servants of the Crypters are always connected to the world their lostbelt is a part of, plus the way the Daybit servant describes death can relate to the whole mystique of sacrifices to gods in the ancient Meso/South American civilizations. If he invoked a grand, I can easily see him doing it with a god, especially since we don't know the lostbelt settings.
My doubt is what he must fight against, even Romulus-Quirinus who was not summoned by the world was still fated to face a Beast. As he himself said, during the whole fight against Zeus he he was saving his energy for "what would come next", but he had to spend everything to help Chaldea face Chaos. This could indicate that even in the context of his summoning, he should still meet with Beast VII.
But Daybit's servant was summoned a long time ago, so he's probably not someone destined to face Beast VII but something else.
Daybit's grand servant is most probably a South American God 'cuz the way he talks about death in LB 4 of how death should be eaten by Yama and not just wasted, in a way that South Americans followed sacrifice rituals in a way that they are providing god with food to consume in the form of death

I'm hoping Hou Yi could become the next grand archer bruh. His story is literally him shooting down 9 out of the 10 beast that represented the sun, alongside him hunting other mythical beast of Chinese origin. All of that while sacrificing his immortality to save humanity and the world.

Since fate lore is heavy on conceptual power, Hou Yi shooting down the sun means he is anti-sun, so he should be effective against servants that drawn power from the sun, even Amaterasu, who is the embodiment of the sun herself.

I'm curious on your take on Tezcatlipoca now since as of February and LB7 we know he is the current Grand Assassin and previously assumed Grand Berserker, him getting the title from Gramps asking him after the Babylonia singularity.

I know Nasu said at one point that he is done with Arturias story but honestly i always liked the idea of Arturia's and Shirou's Saint Graph together after the epiloge of F/SN being what makes up her as a Grand Servant as that is the moment when she is finally complete and at her peak as a person.

Plz dont turn fgo into corny romance.Honestly as good as FSN is ,I still dont quite agree with the idea of a Ancient Hero of the old ages falling for a Delusional High school boy in just 2 WEEKS .If FSN streched to Months then i'd agree ,but i dont think a person ,especially a legendary hero can fall so easily .If you really think about it,Artoria and shirou s love os base upon them sharing their traumas.
Rin also isnt a viable option for shirou,because for all the kindness she shows,she s still a magus and eventually abandons him to pursue her magecraft.
Sakura is the only one who was Important enough to shirou that he abandoned his ideal for her.
And that is also the only route to have a proper happy end.
FSN shirou would take an eternity before reuniting with genderbent arthur,At that point i very much doubt he'd still be the same shriou.

My speculation for grand saber is either a servant summoned by the counter force or by gaia, Proto-Arthur is the closest to a grand saber as his goal is to literally defeat beast. If not him, it will be either a Saber Version of Sasaki Kojiro the one who fought musashi or the real original Musashi from our timeline.
PHH's Musashi if summoned would most likely be a caster. If the manga is anything to go by, he became quite the old man when he meditated inside that cave for the whole time while in Shimousa.
There is another side of Musashi that is besides the swordsman that people are not really aware of. There's the sword saint side of Musashi that is not talked about often I feel
If I remember correctly his fight with Musashi transcends time and space because of their Zero and Infinity.
I wish the True Archer from Stranger/Fake (Alcides) was a Gran servant.
I mean, Heracles deserve, in my view, to be a gran servant in some class.
The thing about Daybit servant is, his servant will probably be connected to his lostbelt, it probably is someone from the original version of his lostbelt, since so far every crypter's servant is from their lostbelt, Anastasia for Kadoc from Russia, Surtr for Ophelia from Scandinavia, Lan Ling for Akuta from China, Ash for Pepe from India, Caenis for Kirsch in Olympus, and of course Morgan for Beryl (at least on his wiki page, since I'm a NA only guy) from Britain, so whoever Daybit's servant is, it is likely from South America

He did when talking about Daybit's Servant. Everyone seems to agree his Grand is likely the Berserk.
The ships that we see the Greek gods use split off from chaos. If I recall correctly, chaos only used up 2% of it's power to create and send the titan ships through the dimensional cracks into the universe we are familiar with. Let's assume that it used half of that 2% to get the ships through to the other side. Therefore, Romulus was able to block attacks from a being that was at the very LEAST 100 times stronger than old Zete who was already using attacks that could rip open the very fabric of space, and if his words are to be believed, blow up the galaxy.

I think our Musashi is a good guess for Grand Saber, I could see them doing it. I think Proto could have been a Grand, since he tells us that he is Hunting Beast Nero when we first meet him in FGO. I think it would have been fitting for that very reason. Another good choice for Grand Saber would probably be Yoshitsune, though I don't think that's too likely. As for Grand Berserker: I have no idea. I know there are theories that it could be Camazotz, Xbalanque, or Xibalba, but I'm pretty sure they are all divine.
A sudden and crazy idea I had is that Excalibur could be the Grand Saber itself. Like I said, it's kinda over out there, but there could be a chance that the sword itself can turn the bearer into the Grand Saber if he or she is worthy. At least is a theory, dumb, but fun.
Kinda far fetched but what if it was the Male version of Musashi who also dimension jumped and pulled an Excalibur and used it to fight that white titan?

What if in the fate verse those that were depicted as angels and archangels by humans were actually Mages taught Holy Magic by a divine being (God). Then Michael the commander (?) Hear me out here - Grand Saber Jesus of Nazareth. In the Book of Revelation, Jesus is depicted as using a sword - albeit that sword is supposed to be a metaphor for the word of God, but take the sword bit literally and add some wiggle room for interpretation, and you've got someone who in their tale is literally fighting what is effectively in-universe a Beast class right there. He checks all the boxes.
Qualifies as Saber as was depicted as using a sword.
Fought things on the level of Beasts.

Alright so I've been holding onto this theory for a long time now and I'm pretty sure that it's not going to happen but I want to share it anyways.
Lostbelt 7 takes place in South America and that there is a very high chance that the Crystal Valley and Type Mercury is going to end up as a major hurdle to overcome (and maybe even an ally if it views the Alien God as hostile?) and I think for the Grand Saber this would be a great time to go back to something that hasn't been addressed since the original run of Fate/Stay Night. The Throne of Heroes has the records of all of human history and is able to summon servants from the past, present, and future. To me the pinnacle of the Saber class and one of the few enemies of the Aristoteles is the future swordsman and Ether Liner the Slash Emperor, Ado Edem. If I'm not mistaken EMIYA is the only future timeline servant that we've seen and in my opinion it would be pretty freaking metal for Nasu to go with Slash Emperor for the final Grand Servant while finally introducing future servants. Going along that train of thought assuming the presence of ORT in the lostbelt acts as a catalyst we could see the final human in history, Gun God, show up as a Archer or Rider servant. I'd love to see V/V also but since she's an alien entity I doubt it would happen (although maybe possible as like an Alterego or something?). I also think that ORT could help explain why there isn't a detectable Fantasy Tree in the lostbelt since its very presence creates a pseudo reality marble that's strong enough to be compared to true magic that overwrites the existence of the Earth itself with Mercury.
I have been saying it for a long time, i theorize that the grand saber will be the Lady of the Lake, considering the roles of the grands these are usually characters that we already know from the legends of others but without having seen them

As unlikely as it is with lawsuits and the modernity rule in play, I actually think Neil Armstrong would be a good candidate for Grand Rider. He's all but confirmed to be a Heroic Spirit from references in Extra and we see an astronaut Servant being defeated by Drake in Last Encore. The reason he'd be a Grand Rider is due to symbolizing one of man's greatest achievements: being the first man to step on the moon. That in itself guarantees him a killer NP due to the sheer weight behind it and it would make him a Grand Candidate by being someone who rode beyond the boundaries of Earth itself to explore new frontiers in the great beyond. Heck, if that isn't enough then you could consider pulling an Edison and make him a composite of all of humanity's efforts to understand and tame the void beyond the planet Earth. Both Romulus=Quirinus and Noah show us that one doesn't need to be a "pure" Servant in order to retain Grand status.
If I'm not wrong there's someone says that Holy sword is required to be a Grand Saber class, maybe the first excalibur holder can be considered as Grand Saber when he use it after the fairies make it to fend off the White Giant

No lie i feel like it would be cool if grand saber would be an alternitive of Mordred, like in a time line that she acutally rightfully succeed Auther as king, She would have both Excalibur & a fully unleased Clarent(clarent is technically on equal footing with excalibur but only in the hands of a true king). But beside my overwhelming love for Mordred i think the Sword saint Kamiizumi Nobutsuna would be a good fit.

I simply am acknowledging that the concept is cool, for lack of a better word. The idea of an alternative reality were Mordred actually succeeded and is accepted by her father instead of rejected, were Artoria builds Mordred up to be someone worthy of being king. Perhaps in terms of grand saber this may be out there, but I would say that is how FGO is, hell Romulus became grand, it all depends on what the story is willing to do with said character. I’d like to think the grand berserker is Qin Shi Huangdi. He tried to defy death. And bring his army with him. It fits in a sense, Emperors keep appearances and his attempt at defying death fits a berserker.

Beyond legend, power, and skill; it seems that each servant is in someway related to beasts, allowing them to specifically destroy the Beast class enemies. Solomon could speak to beasts, Orion was the greatest hunter in all of Greece, Romulus was raised by a she-wolf, Noah took a pair of every beast into his arc, and GH was just Babylon Noah. So if we speculate the Grand Saber and Berserker will have a tie of sorts to beasts, so no matter how good their swordsmanship is, their legend should tie beasts
So Proto Arthur may be Grand Saber since he is hunting the beast of 666

I think there has to be some spot for a version of Gilgamesh. His Caster version was stated to have the potential to be a Grand Caster canidate, his Archer version is the strongest Servant there is, he was the first documented hero in history and his weapon literally tears apart the fabric of reality. It would be disrespectful to deny that he is fit to be a Grand. Maybe even as a special class one, for example Grand Ruler, altough i'm pretty sure that Merlin said that there were only seven.

Caster Gil has not yet been confirmed as a grand caster candidate because he has stated openly that he acts as a caster solely to offend Solomon/Goetia in Babylonia singularity, as evidenced by his voicelines in F/GO. People believe he's a grand caster because of his Clairvoyance EX, Sha Naqba Imuru. When it comes to magecraft, he falls short of Solomon and Merlin. When certain Gil fans refuse to recognize Super Orion as Grand Archer, it's because their king can't be a grand because he hasn't mastered both magecraft and archery.

The reason I believe Gil to be a Grand Caster canidate is Merlin stating that he has what it would take to become Grand Caster. Truth is, there is no such thing as a "Grand Servant Canidate"; it is an arbitraty term the community made up for servants that would be fit for a Grand Servant; and Gilgamesh (as well as Merlin by proxy of his own explonation of what it takes to be a Grand Caster) are the only unambigous mentions of such servants. And even then it is just BS, because who can or cannot become a Grand Servant is not known; if Gaya needs a Grand, she summons a Grand. That is the only difference between Grand Servants and normal ones, so as far as we know, every Servant could be a Grand, and I now wanna know what Tawara Touta would be like as a one.
Also, Gil hasn't mastered Archery and Magecraft? If I was an asshole I would say something like "widdle fgo fan hasn't read CCC" but my gut instinct is not to insult someone just because they disagree with me over a story notorious for changing it's rules on the go

Also, they function differently compared to regular servants that were generally used to grail wars. Merlin did not die in futures of any timeline, the reason why he is summonable because of Independent Manifestation skill and he utilized that skill when Caster Gil summoned him. According to Chloe von Einzbern, the Independent Manifestation skill (several characters inherited that skill) is comparable to a lesser version of the Third Magic and I think she said this during the final singularity. Also "grand servant candidate" is not just an arbitrary term you think of. Merlin is not a grand caster yet when we met him in Babylonia and the qualification of grand caster was even stated in Babylonia section 2 in the gacha itself.

Grand Servants are chosen to deal with the Beast who is striving to materialize.
Only First Hassan could give the Primordial Mother a concept of death and make her vulnerable, therefore he was called to fight Tiamat.
Solomon is a natural counter to Goetia via Ars Nova, which weakens Goetia and destroys his immortality.
Super Orion was the best suited to meet Vitch (considering his background as a beast hunter) if she unleashed her Beast form, even if it was a young one in Olympus. Instead, Orion chose to use his power and giving up his "grand archer" title in order to stop LB Artemis.
Romulus=Quirinus is a rare instance even among Grands because he is a divine spirit, but still got summoned due to his ties with humanity as Romulus, the God-breaker Alliance was successful using their own summoning ritual to make it happen. Romulus=Quirinus wasn't summoned to deal with a Beast, but rather with Zeus. Romulus was a man who laid the groundwork for humanity, guiding them away from relying on gods for everything and toward greater independence. Rome also conquered Greece and adopted many of its myths and tales, making Romulus=Quirinus a great counter against Zeus.
Gilgamesh fans are a joke in Nasuverse community, believing that their king can defeat any of the known beasts by himself, despite the fact that the servants are canonically weaker than them due to the beasts' authorities.

Grand Berserker is obviously an Angry Chihuahua. Considering most of the Grands are conceptually opposed to Beasts, I want to say Susano'o is Grand Saber, as he was human at least for a bit, he's just going to slap Amaterasu again for being a beast.
Previous discussions with my friends have had us come up with candidates such as:
Grand Lancer- Odin before we realized divinity, because he literally has the apex of all spears. We also had Karna as a Grand candidate for like, three classes, Archer and Rider alongside Lancer.
Our Grand Archer was Hou Yi, who shot down 8 suns, or something like that.
Grand Rider we said Odysseus or Odin.
We didn't really touch Assassin or Caster, but we did think a bit on the replacement for King Hassan, being the true Jack the Ripper, or Akechi Mitsuhide.
Berserker: Beowulf was one candidate, especially considering we're missing a chunk of his legend. We also thought of the Stamford Berserker, but, there isn't much in the way of substance to him aside from him soloing quite possibly the largest number of people in recorded history.
My biggest guess at who Grand Saber could is possibly the Archangel Michael, who is typically represented as holding a divine sword, though if the data mine leak is true, then it could be Gabriel voiced by Ayako Kawasumi, but personally having it be Michael or even Raphael would be so much more fitting, Michael with his divine sword would even match the fact that Grand Saber could wield Excalibur against Sefar.
i still want to hope that the seat for the grand saber would be on King Arthur. going back to the origins of FGO, fame and merits heavily affects them so then King Arthur and his legend is probably the most famous of them all and it was also the Excalibur that defeated Sefar even if it isnt specifically stated that it was Arthur himself, the fame of the Choosing sword, the Holy sword Excalibur existed on the fate timeline even before Gilgamesh.
It is true that Excalibur existed before Gilgamesh, but at the same time Ea is older than the planet and even older than the stars themselves.

Regarding Grand Saber, would it be possible for Emiya Shirou having realized his ideals be the one ? He has a clear connection with Excalibur by idolizing Artoria already, and while she was about protecting Britain, his naive ideal is to "save everyone". Imo it would be kind of fitting to have that version where he's a savior only summoned to save humanity and not as a sweeper.
The problem I could see in this is that Grand's are summoned due to them being suited for the threat currently trying to destroy the world, so unless the threat in question has powers like Gilgamesh then I doubt he'd be put into a grand class. especially since they could have Gilgamesh be the grand in that kind of situation

I think it would be very poetic, the character that started the entire franchise ending up as one of the strongest servants in arguably the strongest class. Also, the fact that Shirou is the literal embodiment of a sword, yet still hasn't appeared in FGO as a Saber-class servant is kind of bullshit (not counting Muramasa, since that's not really Shirou). You just know Nasu's saving that shit for something big.

I think a Grand servant could be anyone as long as they are strong enough, even to force the system to it just like Romulus, for example Tamamo no Mae could be turned into a grand by the hands of Amaterasu since she is supossed to be stronger than even the combined olympians or Sun Wukong who is supossed to be one of the strongest being in literary history.
I think grand saber is indeed proto Arthur or Musashi, either male or female, mainly female cuz she was just so mysterious as to how she was independet, just like proto Arthur.
Grand berserker could indeed be Kahn or as i said in the beggining Sun Wukong, this being as his story tell how he went berserk on heaven's army AND won, tho i think his best class would be lancer.
What if the Grand Saber is the Protag, with newly forged Excalibur(fresh from lostbelt) which mean the Excalibur still don't have 13 seals and using the protag as their vessel just like Quirinus. Or goddes Rhomgomyniad who in the end of Camelot Singularity holding Excalibur and regain her humanity back.

Anyone have a clear answer as to why tezcatlipoca a god can in any capacity become a grand servant? Its mentioned that he has a connection to the mountains & I’ve heard that he mimicked king hassan to become the grand assassin but how does that work?? For romulus it was through very special circumstances that was stated to be very very rare because of his human origins. Someone pls help
The only Grand Assassin candidate is King Hassan. Because of that, after he stepped down, Tez was made Grand Assassin. There just was no candidates left. At all.
My current head-canon is that being a Divine Spirit is a disqualification. It was never that Divine Spirits don’t have the abilities necessary of a Grand Servant class. In the case of Grand Assassin, there were no candidates left, so a disqualified Divine Spirit Tez was made into the Grand Assassin. From this, we can infer that a Divine Spirit is chosen over a Heroic Spirit lacking the required abilities.

Romulus' case is really incredible because the God inside him not only represent humanity perseverance (something Grand servants themselves represent) but his name can also be translated to "Lance".

Personally I think that the Grand Berserker could be one of these individuals:
1. Legion- They were 3 Demons trapped inside a man, who would later have them be removed from him by Christ himself, and would later possess 3 Pigs before throwing themselves into a river. Makes me think that Nasu could have them be involved, with the creation of the River of Styx.
2. Arngrim- A popular berserker in Viking lore.
3. Cain- The First Murderer from the Bible.
Any other suggestions are welcomed.

Thor is a god, so he is not counted. The closest one are any of the two - Arngrim, a popular berserker in viking lore or Ragnar Lotbrok the Scandinavian leader who invaded mainland western europe alongside his warrior resulting to the “dark age” event in history.

I don’t know what this means exactly, but it could mean he either rivals them in power or could be a candidate for a grand. Does this mean there could be a grand ruler or could he have been summoned in a different class as a grand?
