As a Soviet Player, i felt for you when basically all you're American Dice got pulled that first turn. That set Steve up to pin you down hard.
You definitely got owned Travis sorry the new dice bag didn't help out. Once again your more than welcome for the bag and glad you like it and thanks for the shout out 👍😊
Yep love it! Thanks again David 🍻
Haha I was all up for being the hero then - took out two and then was blasted to smithereens :D
What a game - those dice were immense :D
Cheers!
We actually own a 1944 Dodge WC. It was nice to see someone actually using one in the game.
I’ve never seen such bad rolls. That engineer squad ooft
Ouch! Your dice coming out so soon was bad luck, and Steve’s shooting was quite blessed by the dice gods! An entertaining game though, as always👍
Awesome battle! Pretty much action all the way through. You did lose a lot of veterans but because all your squads were vets it was a bit inevitable. ;-) That quad Maxim had the potential to be pretty nasty and so coupled with Steve's good rolling magic it lived up to its potential. All the same though, like I said it was pretty action-packed. So, great battle report as always folks. Keep up the good work.
Steve kicked ass! I hope you bought a lottery ticket after this one!
Many a time I've played games where my order dice count is much higher than my opponent and their dice are first out of the bag in a glut. Despite some better than average rolls, those first dice out and the ensuing pinning had the US on the back foot. The lack of dice parity really showed on the right, where trucks and infantry were able to press the advantage. Veterans are harder to kill (usually!) but the firepower or ability to hit doesn't change.
Steve's rolling was in rare form that game. Ouchie! 🤣
I'm a huge fan of yours I want to see a massive battle like high point army's maybe even 2v2 or a 3 player free for all
We could do something like that.
You couldn't have done anything against those dice. Every time I play my son, I roll like that and he has yet to beat me. I was entertained though.
I noticed that you have your sound adjusted just right so that can move the sound scale to the middle. Also, you and Andre seem to throw your voices better than the other guys.
Holy crap the maxim is throwing sixes at 50%
Good lord, you need to execute your dice and make the rest of the dice watch.
😄
Why so few likes? Get on it old guys. My kids taught me 😂
He forgot to moral check for the flamethrower. Even if you don't hit they still have to check
No they still have to hit for the test. Back in the day they auto hit so it seems like it
Oh thanks! I guess I've been misplaying it
Love the battle reports btw great to watch while assembling minis@@tabletopcp
Heart breaking to see the American infantry misused so poorly, The dice pull was bad and the Soviet dice rolling was on point; but dang, the employment of the American troops was disappointing. Should have brought in the Engineers the first time you had a chance, it would have changed the game. Also, free advice... when out numbered don't attack them, let them come to you.
The kickassmailorder site doesn't work?
guys what shade do you use or your bolt action minis? i had a full bottle of nuln oil from gw since i left warhammer, but when i tried it today it ruined my minis basicly. waaaay too dark and shiny at the same time... killed every nuance i had in different browns and greens
tried scrubbing it from the higher level surfaces, but dries way too fast, so it looks like my dudes have some kind of skin plague
I had the same issue with my Agrax Earthshade. Left the minis very shiny. Turns out there was a new formula or whatever. All the pigments settled TL the bottom. What I did use a toothpick to stir it up real good and then shake it up and it came out like the agrax of old. Not much you can do for the shade you already did except a matte varnish it repaint it.
@@tabletopcp maybe ill try earthshade, i thought about that one just today. its not as dark as nuln oil and hopefully gives more of a dirty look instead of an everlasting darkness one
@@cobruh836 yep. Earthshade is what I put on every mini I have ever painted
@@tabletopcp much better than nuln oil, tried it today, thanks for the tip.
Great game, shame the Americans got slaughtered but I guess that's the way of dice 🎲
