Would it make sense to buy this card if you're just playing at 1080p ? (sometimes I like to supersample). I'm really just buying it for future proofing. And there's one with a pretty damn good price right now.
I bought this same card on March 1st. 1350 USD. Only payed that much because my 5700xt sold for 912 USD that same week. Oh well, it's a real nice card so
Fairly simple, if 4k doesn't use 16gb then there won't be any benefit to that. gddr6x has higher bandwidth, literally just faster memory so more performance goes out.
