🚐 ABOUT 🚐
My name is Scott. Since February 2019, I have lived full-time in and worked my RV business and RUclips Channel from my Winnebago Travato GL, a 21' Class B RV camper van.
We LEARN, we SHARE and YOU DECIDE what is the best way for you to RV in you Camper Van.

BEST OF SHOW awarded by GO SMALL. LIVE LARGE! for the MOST INNOVATIVE floor plan in a Micro Class B RV. TALK DIRECTLY TO WINGAMM on Feb 16,2022 on RUclips Live RV show WHAT’S UP WEDNESDAY!? Mark your calendar and join the conversation.
I don’t understand why this is called a class B. The man in the video clearly explained how it was built. Why does the industry continue to lie.? Unsubscribed
Must be kidding? $145 k , no generator, no microwave , no Bluetooth, WiFi, or tv. Not worth price
When you speak with Wingamm, please somehow work into the conversation the idea of putting their Monococque seamless one piece design onto the CANOO lithium battery skate base for a total electric vehicle!! Those two innovative designs together would be the absolute IDEAL!
I never could understand why the US market is so behind in Design and Innovation. This is Brilliant
Hi Fly
It's because of necessity. Europe has many more constraints, both naturally and by regulation. First, there's the 3500kg vehicle weight limit, which is the max you may drive with a regular driver's license. Above that, apart from the drivers license issue you're running into higher cost for Insurance, tax, campsites, even road tolls.
Engines are generally smaller through a combination of consumption and taxes. Many popular places can only reached by tunnel or ferry; Roads, cities, parking spaces are often built to smaller standards, limiting width, height and length more.
So, to bring a compelling product within those constraints, you have to do it by innovation, to achieve more than others within the same limit. If your corset isn't quite as tight as it is in the US, it's easier to go the route of cramming in more features or amenities as a selling point.
@@Lonestar24 all true
This will be a game changer for the North American market. It will force domestic manufacturers to update their designs in response to Wingamm.
Need to lower the price 150 k is way too much
@@jackmac66 Is it though? Most North American Class B RVs are the same price, if not more.
I hope so! Find it mind boggling the shorter chassis are so in demand you have a 6 month wait for one that the other manufacturers aren't jumping on the bandwagon??? There is a HUGE market for solo/couple van users who live in a condo so need the shorter units to fit in their parking spaces and also be used as every day drivers.
@@kandicenagel5257 Exactly! This Wingamm entry will shake up the market and open a lot of people's eyes.
@@jackmac66 I AGREE, it should be about $100,000 :)
I agree that this one is Best of Show. Probably a lot heads exploding now in the RV manufacturing world. This little shaver Will change things. I just love the space this thing has with the elevated bed. I also Really love the fact that you have full cabinet access when the bed is down. Brilliant!
Thx Van Liberty
It is about time that European design make it in the US. I rented a similar RV in France 10 years ago and it was old news there. And the quality was heads and shoulder above the average US-made stuff.
right on
This is a cute B+ Wingamm. It has a lot of storage for a small B+. Thank you Scott for showing this Wingamm.
hi Sherri
Great walk through Scott and Tony. Love the innovations in this unit. Just needs Volta, larger 12 volt compressor frig with drawer freezer, microwave and the TV. I may even be able to live with the cassette toilet for this rig. Wonder if the OHV lift will work on the Promaster cutaway chassis.
Interesting idea
The engineering and design, amazing. The buttons on the mirrored vanity, drop down table with a foot button, drop down beds. I love it all
Thx for your nice comment. It is a sweet ITALIAN IMPORT. Will be fun to see how USA 🇺🇸 RV builders react, if at all .
Finally some European Quality in the states. We've been needed this desperately.
Truth
This was definitely best in show! I loved this little van. Even though it’s shorter than the Travato, the way they used the space made it feel much bigger. Looking forward to seeing them in WuW! Thanks for the walk-through. I know the guy who did the interior was very excited to see you post this :)
Roy did great on video
Love this interior and exterior set up at 17.5 feet. Best.
It is compelling
The new kid in town. I love it! Last year it was the Ekko, and now WINGAMM. The price is right. It's the biggest smallest class B.
Truth !
This is what so many people wanted 15 years ago. What took them so long. Though at 145k, not really an option for most. Glad to see it headed in that direction.
thx
Have to agree. Key aspects of this layout: rear entry offset, rear corner bathroom, floating bed. Ideally water tanks at floor level or above, dry only storage under floor.
Wow yes the rear entry and bathroom room location and because of the lifted bed it free up lots space
Hi George
The product is really exciting. Special kudos to this young sales guy who knows his product and doesn’t hype or talk excessively. I would hire Tony in a minute.
agree with you
Wow...that is super cool. Great to see some real innovation in the industry. I wonder if they have a Promaster 3500 version in the works? Imagine this floor plan on the 21' chassis...
Hi Mike. The Oasi 540 will be on the Promaster
They are going to sell larger models like the 610, their site shows the floorplans
Yes...I like torque!
It's mighty! It will be interesting to see what makes the cut and is offered in the USA.
Agree with you Gary
Love all the innovation and the nice little details this has. Love those lights how you can touch and dim them and change them to a blue light. Love that this can seat and sleep additional passengers. Loved how The table moved around it is so many positions and it looked like it was easy to do. This is one to watch for sure.
Hi Cheri
Thanks for highlighting this van Scott and good job on the interview. Finally some innovation in a class B RV that shakes things up and justifies their expense! I like most of what I see in the Oasi 540 as it combines the utility and luxury features very well. My wish list for this van are a robust lithium battery pack, lose the propane, add a MW in the kitchen, and add a 4x4 drivetrain to the chassis. Are those unreasonable wants for this van design?
Hi Joe
This should def be a game changer. While it does come at a premium compared to other Ram Promaster vans, the monocoque construction will ensure the quality of the body for years with little to no leakages and weather damage. It can comfortably sit and sleep 4 and still have a full bathroom at only 17 ft, havent seen that yet in the US market as well. The small size and profile of the van means you use it as a daily driver with little to no issue.
Hi John
I love this Van the best, it is beautiful, small yet very functional. Thank you Scott.
YW
Small and convenient, I love the windows and skylight above the bed !!!
Thx K3
this is the Ikea in RV world, compact and functional, really nice, and better than most American b class rvs.
very good
The interior and exterior explanation was so smooth with the demonstration. Good job 👍
thx … Roy was great right !
Awesome tour ! And what an efficient use of the small spaces this coach has. Wow !
truth
Lovely little home and the Windows are incredible
Well said Owen !
This this this this IS what I have been hoping to see come to America!!! ALL of the class AB’s that I am interested in are made in Europe!!! Thank you Scott for sharing! This may be the one I purchase later on…….
So awesome !
I like the idea of no seams, but can't seem to find any info on what they use for insulation.
Lots of "O" ring seals in the doors... wonder if these will degrade through time.
Absolutely love the bed on that comes down from the roof! Glad to hear you include the weight capacity for that bed too... no one else seems to have mentioned it.
Worried about the exterior compartment that is accessible from the inside... easy access to anyone? Are there locks on both of the storage doors?
Nice storage throughout and like the medicine cabinets too!
Overall, I am very impressed with this model... actual innovation unlike most of the other RVs I've seen from the show. Do you know if they plan on selling their longer vans in the US?
Be seeing you!
Thx RoL
The access from the inside to the external storage bay could be a safety issue. Could a small person, maybe even a teenager with a slight build, use this to get in? Typically, the locks on storage compartments are less robust than those on the main entry door. If this were the case, it would be best to have some way that lid under the cushion to that you could not simply push it up from the outside.
LOL...........thats a easy door to secure, so FUNNY!
Intersting point
This RV is amazing! Beauty and function all in one. The most important thing will always electrical power.
Right on
Great video Scott as usual! Much appreciated. A few comments/questions to ask the rep at the WUW that I unfortunately can never attend live:
I appreciate the music, very apropos ;)
The first rep tries too hard (I've seen him in other videos also) - cassette toilets can also get gross ;) Second guy is better, more low-key.
How would these RVs be serviced in North America?
What size lithium system and inverter are available in the upgrade, is there space to install a large system?
Why so costly in the US ($145,000 plus $5,000 for shipping, plus tax) when it's almost half the price in Europe?
More info needed for sure
I am envisioning Wingamm meeting CANOO and putting their two innovations together. The Monocoque design put onto the Canoo all electric base, OMG!! Dream come true!!
Cool idea
This is so much better for the. An mods that passes for motor homes that we have in the states.
Hi John
If this and other European manufacturers enter the US market, this will force the US manufacturers to be more creative and build more reliable units. Just like the Japanese car companies forced US car companies to be more responsive in the '80s. Love the Italian theme music.
Thx Rich
Very cool! I would love to see one in person. Thanks for sharing, Scott!
Hi Kim
Wingamm, welcome to the US market. So innovative.
Truth
My dream RV!!! I love everything!!! Stunning and practical!!!
hi Kelly
Thanks for the video. I love the vehicle. I've watched many other videos on it. Every salesman has the same exact talking points❤
Thx David
I've watched several reviews for this camper and yours was the most well done and informative!
Much appreciate that !!
Very impressed by the pull down bed.
Right on
Hey Scott nice video!!!
I totally miss this one at the Tampa Show. Love that an european manufacturer, hopefully with an "s" in the future start to offering this options here. At the Tampa show, all I saw is about "same" from the usual brands and with a "higher' price. Not much to be excited about.
I definitely consider this model. The floor plan is great for one person. Have the extra space to make some changes, like adding more battery power ( lithium ) which I always consider doing it myself. Increase water capacity...not sure. Anyway this is a good start...love it
Hi Luis !
I would like to take the "L" part of the sofa out and have a bigger bathroom. Also, A mechanical sort of step so handicapped can access. Another cool idea is for an outside box instead of bike racks to put extra cassettes in so you can totally use the enclosed place for storage. Please show storage access from within. I love this RV!! Fantastico...lol
Great points Kelly
The Oasi 610 with a decent battery (Volta like) would be a killer and I would buy it.
Good to know
Very well designed for its size. I'd like to see this company build on long promasters and drw transits. Since they are making their own body why not have a slide model. They are making such good use of space I can't imagine what's possible with large vans.
Things I think they can improve on is slides, and using victron and lithionics using engine generator from chassis and solar.
Thx Mike
Nicely done!
Right on
Shut up and take my money! Wow the bunk is amazing!
Okay !!
I love this size
Yes, indeed
It’s amazing. Women must be involved to understand needs to travel. Sorry guys, but a closet and roof bed is so practical. A small mattress like a futon should have been standard years ago! I want one of these! And idea mileage and cost after shipping, tax etc?
Thanks Lori. ***??? Did you see this video I did, Camper Van STAYCATION, South Florida - Spirits, Butterflies, History ruclips.net/video/nLhU1LFau8c/видео.html
Nice ❤
Thanks 🔥
This one is it❤❤❤
Hi Deborah
Finally!!! The Europeans showing the Americans how to build RVs! ❤️
Right on M M !!
Very beautiful my favorite
Thank you so much 😊 Please check out my Staycation video… ruclips.net/video/nLhU1LFau8c/видео.html
Scott, great job at the Tampa RV Show. Unable to be there this year.
Hooray
Hands down, BEST B CLASS RV AT THE TAMPA SHOW!! I am smitten with that little rig...it helps that it is from the homeland! Love the floorplan, the innovation with the sleeping arrangements and the large bathroom. I almost like the Fiat chassis better than our Ram. If they get Volta or a robust power system in that rig...well, let's just say I may have to pull the trigger! Awesome job Scott!
You sure are turning out the video content lately...thanks! Are you sure there is not a motive in trying to get out of doing DIY with Kyle? Since I know you love doing that stuff...LOL!!!
LOL on the house remodel
Very Nice. However I will be purchasing a Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A. Half the price and only thing it really lacks is a Wet Bath. It can be had for $75K. Not as luxurious but it gets the Job Done.
I think your thinking Bryan. Solis Pocket is compelling. If your shopping check out my home dealer, Winnebago Motor Homes in Rockford IL. Talk with Mick and tell ‘em Scott sent you. I get nothing for that but you will get a square deal
I love this!
Indeed ! ***??? Did you see this video I did, Camper Van STAYCATION, South Florida - Spirits, Butterflies, History ruclips.net/video/nLhU1LFau8c/видео.html
I am so glad someone is finally smart enough to start bringing European market RV's to the U.S.(European RV's are lightyears better than ours), hopefully we'll start to see some Hymers here.
Thanks Random
Music cracked me up.
Nice vid
Italiano 🇮🇹
I've been looking at this company for over a year, I even emailed winnebago I told them they should make something like this. LOVE IT!
They can copy the floor plan and design but solid quality is another issue
Great job
LOVE!!!!
Right on
I love this for one person. For couples it would not be practical, if you’re partner wants to stay in bed in the morning or vice versa the only accessible room would be the bathroom.
Hi Rosemary
Almost perfect! Not a fan of the WET BATH! Small 19’ RV manufacturers need to design smart DRY BATH with separate toilet and shower using a swivel WALL (not plastic shower curtain). See the Roadtrek Pivot for this DRY BATH design. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yes BB, see the Adria Supreme and it will blow you away
This is gorgeous!
I agree.
Clever use of space and design.
Right !?
Great RV ! Regular gas would be preferred over diesel though.
The Wingamm OAC bound, for the USA, comes on the ram pro master chassis, which is gasoline power
Instead of a ladder, make it electric that can lower to the seat/counter. Then, it can lift & put me back up. I'm old.
Interesting idea
My favorite so far. Wish they had a leasing or renting option. Only need a camper/van for 3-4 months next year.
Hi Gordon
SHOWER!!!
Shower included
Need to learn about the dealership network. Always need mfg support and dealership is critical, in my opinion. Love the unit but need much more information. So happy you and going to have them on Whatsup Wednesday.
Thrilled to have them as a WuW guest ! Thx Tom
Wonder when they build on the Ram Promaster what the overall length will be? I love 17’
17’9” I think is total length
This one looks like a great small RV sorry I missed the 2/16 discussion.
Did not miss it. Wingamm as my Guest on What’s Up Wednesday!? Rescheduled with date to be announced
Oh this is beautiful, I want it.. so happy this rv is coming to the states
Truth
To me that was a swing and a miss. It should have a large capacity lithium battery and loose the LP. Heat cabin and water off same fuel as chassis. My dream rig would have no LP, enough Lithium battery power to run what I need during the day and keep me comfortable while I sleep at night. No generator other than second alternator/gen under hood and no LP to run out of and have to find a place to fill. Also the refrigerator much like yours. But for a small rig it is an impressive layout.
1st integration as it comes to market in the USA 🇺🇸. Likely to see changes to accommodate North American needs. Thx R B
I wanna queen bed down. And a oven. Cute. But $145,000 is a great price for a normal home
Appreciate your comment
definitly a game changer
Agree with you
This has me really intrigued! Do you happen to know if they will be in Ocala? I'm dying to see this in person!
Don’t think it will be in Ocala.
I like this model. But my concern is too easy to open outside storage without a key. Anyone can open the storage and steal or break in from there.
Hi Melody
If only it had more storage it would be a game changer for full time living. I suppose you could attach a small trailer
Hi Gaye. Thx for commenting
❤️it! Great job with these Tampa show Class B videos. Always enjoy your honest opinions.
Thank you !!
That bed concept!
Right !?
Put netting above the upper cabinets for extra storage. Net to keep in place!
Thx Sandra
Have there been a price range for this? Really nice. Good video. Thank you.
Yes, $145,000 USD + options, shipping …. ***???Have you seen this video I made, Why I travel in a Class B RV Camper Van? ruclips.net/video/wUeVwLDWzWg/видео.html
Canada,Europe and Australia have been building top notch campers for many years and he u.s. hasn’t changed yet,so don’t expect it now
Thanks John
Great rig if they can add one more seat belt for 5 would be awesome US RV maker really need to step all their quality and floor plan or space design.
Truth
I would be seriously looking at this if it was all lithium with inverter (no propane or generator) and offered on a Ford chassis.
Okay !
Wingamm's exterior shell provides more thermal comfort than any metal clad van or RV. It's "floating bed" is an ingenious use of space typically dedicated only for sitting. There are reasonable safety concerns about access through the garage, but this could be amended. I am way more interested in their 20' van (610 series), and this unit has a huge garage (that will also need some additional securing). BTW: the Wingamm 610 ST model comes with a jump seat to add lounge seating. This forfeits 1/3 of kitchen counter and drawers, but its garage/bunk bed area is worth it.
Great points Dave
I like the Wingamm Oasi 610 better for me. It had a bunk bed in the back. I need room for a full size keyboard and small pa.
Dual pane windows are awesome!
Love the drop down bed.
I would like the bike rack I've seen on other videos. This needs a convection microwave. Plugs for extra appliances maybe a freezer?
Great review! Can you drive with the drop down bed down?
Great question M H. Wingamm will be on my What’s Up Wednesday!? RUclips live show next month. Maybe they can answer you directly
@@gosmall.livelarge I'll be looking foward to it!
I love this setup!
Excellent
I like this design, maybe other US manufactures like Winnebago could come out with something like this?
Doubtful for the short term. Wingamm has been around for a long time...you should see some of the other Italian makers and UK models, all great. It would take some time IMO, if Wingamm can take some considerable market share away from the US guys before radical changes away from the 70's graphics and clunky looks.
@@joegrykan9832 I know Wingamm makes quite a few other models. Yea I'm sure the fiberglass shell is quite an investment to come out with. Roadtrek did it with the 200 series on the Chevy Express chassis but now uses Promaster and Mercedes.
Right on !
Very nice if it comes with the European fuel efficient Fiat diesel engine and a heavy duty transmission and adaptive cruise control I might buy one.
Hi Todd
Awesome walk through ,great job
TY Randy
Scott, not specific to this model, but part of the B/B+ discussion. Have you given thought to your preference of touring in a B+ over a B if you were not living a mobile lifestyle and had an alternative daily driver? I understand you are a van life guy, but wondering if there has been a "what if" thought process. Part of my question is within the context of $$$, big fan of the G but still an expensive pre-owned market vs a pre-owned Trend 23. Sound advice, from you and others is to get out there, so seeing what is feasible today. If you covered this on a different video please let me know, but nothing that I found searching. Thanks!
To add a bit on the market, a lower mileage/good condition 2015/16/17 G looks to be in the $70's. Same year & condition Trend is in the low 60's. Seems to be the general market for the midwest.
B+ give one more moving around inside space and what folks really like (I think) is more storage for stuff. However, a B+ stands out like a sore thumb screaming RV where ever it is parked. I could not do what I do in a B+. B+ = boondocking or running to RV parks/campgrounds which is fine. but parking on the street in a small town near their historic disctict would be tough because o vehicle size and RV obviousness . My rig ain’t’ stealth, but looks cool… doesn’t scream RV, and fits in a standard parking spot with the other vehiucles. That is the difference from my expereince
@@gosmall.livelarge That's a good informational point on blending in the most you can. Renting a Solis for 2 weeks in November, test run, be a mix of big country and city. Thanks for what you do and enjoy your overseas trip.
Great job. What’s the size of the fresh water tank? I missed it. Loving this van. A few things for me though. Having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night might be a little tricky coming off that bed. I love the design. Would be cool if you had the option to lower it a bit more. I’ve always thought the high top vans could be utilized for something. Kind would miss having the doors open for a nice view while cooking and lounging like custom camper vans. I like the bathroom. But being in the back you’re missing a lot of garage type space. Thanks for the walk thru.
Interesting
This is certainly a beautiful and innovative unit. Please correct me if I am wrong, but it appears to have ZERO boondocking capabilities, or very little. I have not been able to find any information on it's power/battery system (if there is one) anywhere I've looked. Do you have any information to share on this topic? Thank you.
More into coming …
Love it. Very interesting on all fronts
Thx Eric
Great RV. Hopefully they will transition to using components widely used by US manufacturers.
Intersting
I'm not ready to move into something this big yet but when I and this fits me perfectly. The bed is brilliant! The direction things are going I won't be buying another ICE vehicle. Do they have plans to go all electric?
Not sure on electric. Agree on bed
Did I miss the price somewhere? Love it!!! Definitely need a convection MW, and my only wish was for a bigger fridge…… can someone tell me the price? Thanks
Price in the video title,,, $155K i think
Love the innovation!
