I saw KSI in front of a food court in Fidi yesterday. I complimented him on his jacket and he turned around and recognized who he was. He was so chill, down to earth. Regular dude. Didn't want to bother him at all, but he actually seemed sincere in the Convo and approachable. I gained 10x more respect for him in that brief exchange. KSI is one of the few celebs that cracks me up and inspires me. Definitely tuning into him more.
I've also met him but my interaction wasn't as pleasant. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Ariel has turned into this character on his show, and he's actually looks like a bafoon. Picking verbal altercations with certain individuals in the MMA community. Nick Diaz called him out yrs ago on this, and nobody believed Nick. They just kept saying awe its just Nick being Nick. No, Nick could read people, and Ariel was easily readable by Nick. He said that Ariel liked to pick fights between fighters for publicity, yeah ok it's about the money, I get it but in this interview he refers to his Dillon Danus one and calls it a 10-7. Well, if you follow fighting, you know what he means. He's claiming he beat Danus verbally 10-7, and he's boasting about it like it was a true victory over nobody.

I live in Cardiff & used to work on the bars & silver service in the Principality (then known as the Millennium Stadium) My old manager, who is now a really good friend, still works there, so I've already hit him up for a job the night the KSI vs Jake fight happens. If he gets me into silver service, I'll be able to enjoy the fight from the best seats. That win at the end for Ariel was a madness! I love KSI. Watching him grow from a geeky kid to the man he is now has been a privilege.
I used to absolutely dislike KSI back in the Logan Paul fight days 1 and 2, I am not really sure the reason behind why I felt that way about KSI, but it has changed a lot in the last while since he fought Logan Paul.. I feel like he has matured a lot since then, and turned over a new leaf.... now thinking of it, I feel like maybe the biggest reason I disliked him so much is because of his lack of being humble, and when I say that, I mean because every fight he has had, he would act somewhat humble, then bash them later on youtube.. Since his partnership with Logan in Prime, and especially with his new documentary and how real and intense he was with his issues with his parents, I really relate to that and when he cried, so did I... Its just dumb when people(even dana white) try to dog woodley due to him losing his last 4 or 5 ufc fights. First of all, they were all to the very best in the division. Secondly, woodley was over like 36 years old and was fighting all young hungry killers. He was fighting dudes who were fighting for their first title, or within a win or two of fighting for their first title. Woodley had his run as champ and its hard to keep that same hunger especially when father time is catching up to you.
