There is one small mistake, there are actually flags that have purple, the flag of Dominica and Nicaragua. For Dominica the parrot in the flag is purple and for Nicaragua there is purple and it only covers 0.6 % of the flag and it's found in the tiny rainbow. Anyway, great video!
So Dominica has the most purple on their flag out of every country, right?
@@anawesomepet might be
@@anawesomepet yeah guess so
U also forgot about El Salvador its flag looks like Nicaragua's flag but i could be wrong because it looks kinda dark blue
Firstly Dominica is because the national bird is purple secondly Nicaragua is because there is a rainbow in the coat of arms
Fun fact: those snails were used a lot in Ancient Rome to make a purple stripe on a toga as a sign of wealth and only the consul was allowed to wear a fully purple one.
WHAIT DID YOU JUST SAY SNAIL WERE IS THAT SLIMY BOI
Oh wow, that explains why royalty is tied to purple
*T O G A*
After the pheonicians traded with it
Well duh
3 minutes in 1 sentence: purple dye could only be gotten from a sea snail in a certain area of the earth so purple was really expensive to get (but there are some flags with purple on them)
Hey Nas Daily, you gotta make a video about Dominica! 🇩🇲
Reason: in ancient times purple was rare because they didn’t know colour mixing existed, so to get purple dye they had to kill purple snails, which were very rare. They excluded purple from flags generally because that would make them ridiculously expensive. The reason some royals donned purple was because it was so rare only they could afford it
Read this in 20 seconds, nas daily includes irrelevant facts in his vids
Thank you.

One thing I'm now wondering is why Lebanon did not pick purple as a colour on their flag if they have the available resources at their disposal!
There’s actually two flags which have purple and the actual reason is because before you could chemically produce the purple dye you needed around 1000 snail shells to produce one single gram of dye

Shut up, he was talking about major colors, not all colors.
I remember making a presentation about this in 8th grade. My teacher randomly assigns old civilizations to make presentations on. My group got Phoenicians. And the group project also had separate individual where you have to show something they did as a physical item. And I found out about Tyrian purple. From what I've found, they make it from rotten murex snails. First they find where the snails are hiding along the coast, then they throw them up shore to kill them and make them dry up. Then they crush each snail to look for a specific mucus sack that actually stores the purple color. They boil it in a huge pot of water and let the liquid ferment. Then, the fabrics are dipped and dried. And there you have Tyrian Purple.
So to replicate that, I used a red cabbage and a piece of fabric. I boiled the cabbage in water and the water turned purple. And I dipped the cloth and the color actually stuck.
I presented the cloth to the class. It was a very cool presentation, probably my best school presentation yet.
Also there's another harder way to get Tyrian purple and that is to scare the murex snails. The purple mucus gland is actually used like squid ink to scare their predators. So you can basically find a way to scare them and dehydrated the colored water.
I might have some stuff wrong so don't take me as a trustful source lol.
Wow that’s so impressive:0
Actually, my country's flag(Spain) had purple 90 years ago, when the monarchy was taken down and the second republic of spain was established, and the three stripes became red, yellow and purple, but when Franco( a very famous dictator) took over the republic he re-established the red-yellow-red flag again, and it's been like that until today

BS. Lots of colors won't go on a flag. Brown, orange, grey, pink. Basically any colors that is actually a mix of other colors, or a pastel or something not raw. Simply because flags has to be simple, easy to represent and not change because of type of color scheme. So you have white, black, red, blue, green, yellow. Simple, clear colors. @Unknown 🌑 read this
Pingali Venkayya had designed the flag of India and presented it to Mahatma Gandhi in 1921 during the session of the All India Congress Committee in Vijaywada. The flag, at that time, was made of Green and Saffron colour, representing Muslim and Hindu communities of India.

Dominica, El Salvador, and Nicaragua: “you didn’t have to cut me off”
Bruh, he was talking about major colors, not all colors.
@@Top-10-Geography. he said “no flag in the world” which clarifies as him saying no flag in this world has purple, if he meant majority then thats an off communication consideration to begin with.
@@Frozinz Nas Daily said "yes but just a LITTLE tiny bit" to a comment that said "First own was interesting but just a reminder Nicaragua and Dominica do have just a little bit of purple"
keep in mind that i watched the video only, so if he said it in the comments then that is an invalid reason to say im wrong, cuz my comment was to the video and NOT to the comment he said.
The “ sea snail” is a Murex snail, a man,his girlfriend, and dog were walking on the beach and the dog started chewing on the snail and and when the girlfriend saw the color she demanded that she had a robe made of the blue-ish red color or she would have nothing more to do with the man. (I don’t remember their names lol) basically the origin of the color purples discovery
That's rude, lady
Hercules
Is that why chowchows tongues are purple
I understood why they could not use purple, but you're telling me they never thought of mixing colours.
there are 2 flags that have teeny purple
Nicaragua and Dominica
Dominica has purple on it's parrot making it the most purple flag while Nicaragua in the central america has A little tiny bit of purple in its flag because of the rainbow

Most times it amazes me greatly the way I moved from an average lifestyle to earning over 63k per month, utter shock is the word. I have understood a lot in the past few years to doubt that opportunities abound in the financial markets, The only thing is to know where to focus.
A friend of mine I introduced to Stephanie got his first cash out of about $45k I was kind of jealous though lol.
Since meeting Stephanie Renee Anderson, I now agree that with an expert managing your portfolio, the rate of profit is high, with less risk.
Yeah I know her she's a licensed trader from USA and her strategies are earning a lot profit for me.
It is her responsibility to manage your investment portfolio. Which is 10% of the profit / interest it generated for you after three months.
Stephanie Renee Anderson is not the kind of person that will tell you with just $7500 you can made $448,675. She tells you all you need to know and how she can help you with the little you have.
The French actually took the tricolour pattern from the Dutch! It is the Dutch flag that inspired many other nations to adopt this pattern, whether the stripes are vertical or horizontal. The Watergeuzen (Sea Beggars) were Dutch Calvinist nobles that resisted against Spanish dominion and adopted the orange-white-blue flag as a tribute to an improtant figure during the resistance: William of Orange (Prince of Orange, Count of Nassau). The orange colour comes from the coat of arms of the principality of Orange (which lies in France) and the white and blue colours come from the coat of arms of Nassau (which lies in Germany). The use of the colour red was already present long before this, but the resistance led the people to use the colour orange instead, to unite under the same flag. Hereafter, the official state flag was adopted with the colours red-white-blue (although incidentally before 1664 the flag was called the 'Hollandsche vlag', where Holland refers to only a part of the former Dutch Federal Republic). The facts might be slightly incorrect (I am not a historian), but the message of not adopting a flag from the French should be clear.
An important thing to point out is the fact that the French colours are NOT related to the Dutch colours! The white in the French flag refers to the French royalty and the red and blue refers to the coat of arms of Paris.
I mention all of this since the flag is special (as mentioned in the video) and also because the Dutch flag is shown in the frames after mentioning the adoption of the 'tricolore' from other countries (which is incorrect (at least) when looking at the Dutch flag). :)
Yeah but although the Dutch flag was the original one, the French flag was the one making the tricolour style popular.
Nasdaily is wrong Dominica has purple
@@pros_eymerich Fair enough, the French did 'revolutionize' the concept of revolution ;). But my point about the video being slightly wrong still remains!
@@maxd.629 Yeah I think this is the most important aspect to point out about the French flag; what it really represents!
I know right? This guy made a ton of errors and mistakes.
