I went to see if you was right but in the play store wasn’t anything to install or update the dlc, just the description, I have to do something to update them or I’m just unlucky?

The update nuked everything from CClub content to mods... Classic Bethesda.
All my mods are gone and 99% are now unable to be downloaded.
Really mods can't be installed eva now? That's terrible why would mod authors come back and update all our mods :( especially on old gen xbox

Unfortunately but unsurprisingly, this update broke mod lists badly. You have to search individually for every mod you had but, some crash the mod page.
A neat thing that wasn’t mentioned anywhere is that the quality mode on PS5/SeriesX supports 40fps for 120hz screen users. Feels great and might use it over 60 for how good it looks

@@jorblikedis7648on a slower paced game like fallout I don’t mind. 40fps makes input latency feel very close to 60 and the graphics look amazing. The performance mode lowers to medium settings with dynamic 4K. Quality gives me ultra settings native 4K

I read patch notes I hate being ungrateful. But I don't see no where near enough value to warrant destroying our saves and losing mods. My mods imo would've added more then the update did. Unless I log in and its crazy
Dont feel that way. For years fans begged Bethesda not to update and raged when they do. It always breaks the mods and they know it.
When I try to download some mods it kicks me out of the mods section entirely and says this operation cannot be completed. There’s two that have done it so far so I just can’t download them at all.
Can you use your saved file from the PS4 version on PS5 with the new PS5 version of Fallout? It's a completely different download.
To answer your question, 56gb for playstation 5 version. It's a free upgrade if you already own the game.
Did they fix the loading times being FPS bound? Or do I need to still use a FPS uncapper mod just for the loading screen so the game can load faster than mechanical hard disk speeds?
I imagine this will just break my 440 mods that I use to make the game actually fun.

I checked out one of my current play throughs. I was happy to see that none of the mods I run, that are available in the game, were affected. I will be recording video for my channel tonight, as I have been posting a new play through. The quests that have been added though, are not new. They were available through the Creation Club.

Idk if I'm tripping but I can't see a difference in FPS between performance and quality mode on series x.
Just hope they’ve patched the bugs from automatron and the fire rate bug for the handmade rifle

1. You cant download Creation Club Content but after a while It works
2. Game just crashes when loading up the map ( per usual its bethesda )
3. I have no idea for others because i cant go anywhere without crashing because of the pip boy

My only problem with this update is the fact that they didn't update the creation club or the mod list like they did for Skyrim....

Wish you showed the console version since those will have the biggest improvements. Going from 30fps to 60fps is massive.

I thought this "Next Gen" update will make Fallout 4 Graphics into like Starfield Graphics,
because if it's a Major Graphics Overhaul, it'll be worthed to play it from start again.
but, the from what i saw, Texture, Lighting and Material didn't change at all,
only the Fps and added content

This update has completely gotten rid of the content that I have paid for. Until they fix this issue, I will not buy anything with the Bethesda' name on it for as long as I live!!!

Dump it. Delete the update file and reinstall and turn off updates on console. Disconnect the wifi.

I just started fallout 4 last month for first time…this is so awesome that they updated it too, unless it messes up my progress but doesn’t look like that will be a problem…I’m in love with this game/world right now

Might be exclusive to 120hz displays. I’m on PS5 with an LG C1 and it defaulted to graphics mode. 40fps 120hz. The moment I switch to performance it goes back to 60hz.
Has the launcher disappeared from the steam version or is that just me?
I think you forgot to put in performance mode to see the new graphics and FPS
Something to note for PS5 users:
If you digitally downloaded the game through PS Plus you have the PS4 version and you will have to pay $20 to get the upgraded PS5 version
However if you have the ps4 fallout 4 disc or you actually bought the digital download you can get the PS5 upgrade free

Got the ps4 update, but no ps5 version. I'm on the store front now. The ps4 update doesn't support the dual sense haptic feedback (because it's the ps4 vrsn, duh). So waiting for the ps5 version to be released. Probably 12 tonight. It looks alright though
Not much "next gen" content in the next gen update as far as PC is concerned. Does it at least run @60fps out of the box now, or do you still have to manually set the refresh rate of your monitor?

They didnt fix fps problem, game has different Y and X axel sensitivity and aim has acceleration

No graphics update for PC. This was only 15gbs on pc, the ps5 version I'm downloading is 56gbs. I don't know how much change there is yet, but hoping the larger file means some sort of upgrade.
It may not be that much of a difference but you also have to take into account what resolution he uploaded the video the resolution of the device and whatnot you're watching on too

depends on the mods - standard plugins should work relatively fine, but anything that uses the Script Extender will need to be updated (except for stuff that relies on Address Library, in which case only the Address Library itself needs to be updated).
If you are modding on PC and use Script Extender, yes.
@@PrestonGarveyWithNoBrim I'm modding off of Xbox series X and I've been fiddling around they erased all my mods in the update so I remmoded F4 and the mods that are incompatible just straight up don't let you download them which is actually a nice safety feature so mods that have become incompatible with the new update don't ruin your modding.
(Edit:Found it called Echoes of the Past ) So what mission is the "new" enclave quest? rebought it on pc with all the dlc's and i can't figure out 😂😅

On Xbox, my entire mod load order has been deleted and the mod menu is glitched

and it says i have 0 bytes left to download with no mods installed
theyre just hidden for some reason. when you go to delete, they pop up. go to the ones that show, favorite them, then delete them. once deleted, a hidden one will show.
You should clear your mods out and re download them anyways for a clean start

The update has destroy the mods. The modders must remade the compilation, so until they do it most of them will be not avaliable.

All the mods I had on xbox were fine until i up dated the game, and most of the mods have gone and I have lost all my add ons too.
The fact it completely broke the London mod I would except a decent amount to break.

Where do I ind the next-gen update from Steam?
All it did for me on xbox series s was downgrade the resolution, and stop the crashes in boston. Literally no graphic differen, no fps difference, and now it's noticeably worse in terms of resolution. Im uninstalling and reinstalling right now to see if that fixes it

I used to benchmark this game in 1440p back in 2016-2017 with my GTX1060 & upgraded to GTX 1080 Lol
Now with my 7900xtx.. I can max the shhhit out of this old game..

According to Steam achievement statistics, most people don't complete video games.
I know I'm a rare case but my mods all still work, and a few require script extender. I only use 4 or 5 small mods but I was shocked when they All loaded, worked and even script extender still did what those mods needed from it.

Same honeslty I had a perfect load order 35 hours with no crashes on my latest favourite save. And it's all gone I'm goner say this now if downtown Boston the big city bit isn't safe to playthrough now. We all need to seriously complain. Because unless modders update we have lost how we like to play fo4. That has to be sorted for this to be any way worth it.

My mods arnt showing up in the load order and it’s not letting me access the Bethesda Xbox mod menu. Yesterday I downloaded a decent amount and started a game 🤷🏾♂️ I think it’s broke
I just updated yesterday on my series x , once it was done and i started the game to play my most recent modded saved game it crashed , when i went into my mods they are all gone smdh , i was pissed because it took me a long a$$ time finding the mods that i wanted and now i gotta start all over again from scratch , after trying to search up the mods that i had some of them are gone for some reason and my fav list are gone too 😤

Does anyone know if this update fixed the bug with two of the DLCs constantly crashing the PS4 version of the game? I tried installing 4 back onto my PS5 and bought the season pass since it was on sale but two of the DLC kept crashing the game. Don't want to attempt installing them again because it was a hassle to remove the DLC individually

I actually beat the game 10 times completing it siding with the 4 different factions doing the 4 different endings to the game. It was a lot of fun lol.

To beat it you gotta get evey perk possible ;) every bobble head and all comics. And you also need to rebuild every settlement to decent happiness. And of course all dlc quests completed to tbf.

I'm being playful but that is what I would consider completing it. Your main side quest is to rebuild society your the general of the minutemen. Shawn's a little pos and needs to be destroyed anyway
Shawn chose to have you unfrozen then didn't come and pick you up. He had no way of knowing you would survive he said. And Synths attack you at lots of diffrent points in the game and the institute are in charge of them. Little example synths automatically attack you. And in some places if you fight them reinforcements will show up after you have taken out the first lot. And if you go through the terminals they pretty much steal surface dwellers make synth clones of them and kill um.
Shaun said letting you out was an experiment. Theres massive monsters like death claws and radscorpians that can rip people apart realistically. And he left you to contend with that
