My mental process is:
"The parts of the ship are new, but the ship itself, is still the old one."

i can see what nas is trying to say but using a greek ship as a reference isnt a good example
like a community comes and goes but its still a community. but an object like a ship that got put in a museum because it got them victory and then it had to be reassembled completely is no longer the ship that brought them victory but rather a normal ship.
(but the point of the thing is still not that hard to understand)

I've heard about this ship paradox. It's also related to Minecraft whereas for years, mojang upgraded and updated the game to the point where old players stayed to the old version. Mojang might had replaced the parts of the game, but it still the game that we know and love to this day

I think everyone should change their values too, according to time, experiences & their learnings. I was a different person last year, the next last year or every year. This video came really handy like, when everything is gone and replaced with a new one it stays the same because it is the same thing u stand for it has the same meaning

Well, since not the whole thing fell apart at the same time, the new parts they placed before can be considered "old" enough, which means everytime something breaks and they replace it with a new one, it just means that it's that only piece that is "new".

He speaks about the identity value that even if something is changed, the idea is the same.
