Greetings from the USA, MY FAVORITE GROUP OF ALL TIME.🇺🇸
They all matured over the years, but they NEVER sounded better than they did in their early years ..... what an outstanding group this was.
What a marvelous song, praise the Word.
Let's get a million views for this special lady
Beautiful harmonies!! God given talent.
The voice of an angel no one can match her when it comes to vocals
anetha of abba is a good match. Also, freddy mercury of queen. But don't worry, I agree with you that Judith is a legend, one of my favorite female voices of all time along with agnetha
This perfect blending of voices is so satisfying and irresistably captures the ear. From Athol's crisp resonant base to Judith's dynamic cresting vocals, the effect is complete with Keith and Bruce supplying a wonderful balance in between. Keith must have felt particularly proud of this one as he probably envisioned the harmonic arrangement and coordinated its assembly. I'm a fan to the death and love all their material, but to me this is the quintessential Seekers sound where all components are in basic but glorious equilibrium. jtk🍁Canada
Awesome song (never heard until now) and a fabulous 1965 Pontiac convertible.
This is a wonderful memory from my childhood, growing up in the 70’s listening to my parents LP’s.
The Seekers Christianity really comes through more in this song than any other. Bless Judith.
Friendly question: Do you have any evidence that they were a Christian groupo?
@@dbishoff - if I could tell my opinion, listen at the songs, the lyrics they chose to perform. A tree shall be known by its fruit.
@@williamstonesmith7971 Interesting. Elaborate?
@@wendyleeconnelly2939 - Upon reading my own comment, I see that it could be taken as possibly derogatory. I meant quite the other way around, that their songs and lyrics are fruit from a good tree Imho -
God bless the singers where ever they are
WOWWWW amazing harmony I remember the seekers music as a little kid in the 60's I'm 57 a true rocker but this music has always brought me happiness judith has an incredible voice I just love it.
I first sang this song at summer church camp on the shore of Lake Michigan in Michigan. The Seekers definitely sing it a lot better!
Canberra Australia 🇦🇺.
Love Seekers☕️
Amazing all those embassies without having to be hidden within a compound. People had respect back then.
Ever perfect. No other group comes anywhere near them. But then last week I heard the Brothers Four on RUclips. Not bad harmonies but this song is just great for The Seekers.
So wonderful
¡¡Por estos grupos,amamos la música!!
OMG!!! Just love this song..long live and love the seekers xxx
Best group ever 🥇
Thanks Rich, it's my favorite new Christmas holiday song, I especially like the 2000's version Judith's voice is so wonderfully dynamic
Yes, amazing that they sounded so great 37 years later!

Wonderful
Driving around in an open top car like that!!!! :)
Somehow I must have missed this video/recording before. What an incredible vocal arrangement, a rousing gospel number that comes to life with The Seekers! Thank you for this production!
Thank you so much for posting this!
a great car !
please keep posting more, i dont even know where to find things like this.
No armed guards visible outside any of the embassies. A different age.
Agree with the comments below. How can you compare this group to anyone else? They are unique and as such, have no peers.
Crikey look at those new vintage cars
If i ever go to Australia i love to see this place where they finish this song at with tall statue and does ponds of water and where they are all seating and they finish the song that too?
l like to thank the person who like my comment here too
The Seekers in a wonderful car: these were so good times! Nowadays there are only goddamned SUVs
was recently in my local I'm using a new up-to-date jukebox and I was appalled that this song was no fear. shocking.
Athol slipped up there! He usually gets as close to Judith as he can.
👍👍
Is this not a ten verse song, sure I once seen a video lasting nearly nine minutes, any clues Rich.
Sento tanta nostalgia 1:19
How do you find all of this rich963 original videos
I'm having to get a bit creative now, as nearly everything out there has been uploaded! For this one I used a rare version of the song, only ever available on LP/Cassette and made a video for it from 3 clips.
Thanks Man :)
@@rich963 I have this on the Seekers Golden Collection LP I have here, issued in 1969,with sleeve notes by Keith. Still trying to figure out a corner to put my record player in this frantic household where no one else likes my music.

judith what happen you had no children why
She's gone now. Too late to ask such a personal question.
@@wendyleeconnelly2939 My friend wendy i knosw she is gone with God today
She said she and her husband chose not to have children. It is probably because of her bronchiectasis.
@@kaywilliams826 good afternoon my friend kay so you really meet Judith Durham in person. I heard she is very friendly with other people too
@@larryvermeer6170 of course I did not meet her in person. But I did read several articles in which she stated that they chose not to have children.
judith would of been a good mother to
Forced Sterilization could have prevented this video. What a shame....
It would also have avoided this comment.
@@ziggystardust52 he's mad because they only used Telecasters in the Seekers.
wait what??
