For sure the Roku is Bluetooth but when I'm controlling the Elite box with the Elite remote during testing I can stand in my front room around 20-25 feet away and still control the TV which has no direct line of site and a couple of walls (if we were to got in a straight line) between me and the Elite box still control the TV . That would indicate that the VSeeBox Remote is transmitting on a over the air radio frequency other than IR since a IR remote has to be pointed directly at the receiver on the box. Thanks for the comment gave me something to research but I didn't find much. Its just too bad the remote sucks so bad, takes away a lot from the enjoyment of using the Box!
Thanks, did that when going through the settings. I got the volume controllable on the sound bar only, so i need to keep the volume up on the at all times on the Roku TV and use only the Elite Remote to control volume. The other thing I don't have control over on the Roku TV when using the Elite Remote, is when i turn on the Roku TV it goes into the Roku homepage and i have to use the Roku remote to slide over to the HDMI port the Elite is on, then go back to the Elite Remote to control the Elite box. Thanks again for the help.
@@ChrumbsRUclipsChannel I have your same setup with the Roku TV, but when I turn on the TV after 5 sec it switches to vsee box automatically with the HDMI-CEC enabled and using only the vsee remote.
@@narflexel Yes, and I originally had that setting turned off, i turned it on a while ago and yes it does come on and evens shuts off with the box but with a very long delay....sometime.... It does work, but at times it don't during testing. also Ive noticed if im in the Roku app and hit the home button on the VSeebox remote it SOMETIMES goes in the menu of Vsee. not always but sometimes. Thanks for the response back
@@narflexel Best i can say its a mixture of good and bad, and im really still trying to learn the ropes for sure. Im planning on putting out a video here in a bit about my likes and dislikes, life right now has gotten the way and i have a lot going on. What i like the best is MOSTLY FREE. in other words i'm watching content from the 80's and 90's ive not been able to find anywhere in years. I can still keep what subscriptions I want or need and with a little searching, find stuff I want to view. Im not a sports guy and is that is someone's interest, i think they will be pleasantly pleased on the number and amount of sport programming. The bad! i'm constantly clearing memory or needing to reboot to get programs inside apps to open up. Even after I change servers it will play then freeze time and time again, sometimes the program inside the app itself and sometimes the whole box where i cant move. Having 22+ apps has it benefits, but it make learning what is where confusing as hell. I'm still trying to figure out what app i saw a program i like in but can re find it. On the good side if a program is not playable in one app, switch to another app and it just might be, different server and service provider. On the bad side, sometimes it take me longer to find a playable episode then the time I set aside to watch the episodes itself. at this point am i disappointment in making the move to IPTV? Not at all, had i known about IPTV before now, I would have made the switch long ago. I just fine the experience to be clunky at time. Like a few days ago when the Elite apps were down that left most of us scratching our heads to figure out why our log-in and password for some apps did not work with ZERO notification fro VSeeBox. Thanks to @scootersteve3296 for his quick video on what was going on and those who responded back to him, i think that helped a lot of people sit back and be a bit more patient. So anyways that is my perspective at this point
The reason I believe it won’t pair with ur Roku remote is Bluetooth and the vsee remote for the elite is only ir
