- LSV kicks things off with a Vintage Cube, this time going after the rare Fastbond + Zuran Orb + Crucible combo!

Thanks to the Bloodstained Mire and the Peatland in the deck, it would have been a deterministic win to copy Oracle with Metamorph instead of Archon. At that point you can reset your library with the fetch until you find Peatland, which can then draw you into every other card in the deck, Palace Jailer/Flickerwisp on Metamorph to copy Archon eventually, whatever. Would have taken a while, but you wouldn't have had to rely on drawing the Reclaimer.

Oh. My. God. I have been binging your vintage cube drafts for a week now. It happens every single cube season. The fact that you dont already have a youtube channel is ridiculous, by far the most entertaining knowledgeable and respectable magic content maker in my opinion. LSV, keep up the good stuff, post lots of cube, and kick ass. You deserve it!
Always love LSV content that isn't cannibalized from Twitch streams. Having him focused on the draft and not chatting improves the quality of the content so much!
I never watch twitch streams (or yt content copied directly from twitch for this reason.) no matter the subject. As soon as I hear the first 'thank you for the I am out.

I love this Zuran Orb Fastbond Crucible combo.
Edit: And Peatland might be a sleeper in this package, because it also gives you infinite draws if you have the combo, so drawing into a wincon is guaranteed at that point.
Agree. You passed a semi-free horizon canopy earlier which i think you undervalued a bit. Just with crucible it's not amazing but with crucible fastbond zuron orb it's one of the best lands you could hope for.
Also zuron/fastbond citadel is also amazzzing

Zuran orb is one of those funny (obscure?) effects in magic that -- when it finds its place in the world -- is just incredible to watch
I don't play magic or know a lot of the cards but I like how you talk through your plays. This is relaxing to listen to on a walk ❤

This new channel is like Christmas has come early! I can't stop smiling and laughing my head off as I watch each video. The editing with all the small skips here and there is really excellent, too. You really do love to see it. A+ LSV you're the goat.
I really love how much more of a range green cards have gotten with the lands combos. Green used to be an awful splash outside of Oko and W6 but you can draft an early elf and get paid off in many decks now.

Didn't immidiately think of this when Zuran Orb was added to the cube last month. But it definitely makes Fastbond stronger.

You were the main reason I was subbed to Channel Fireball, so I love that you made your own channel. What a killer build this was! You make this format as fun as it can be.
I would love to see chapters for the different sections of the video - the draft, deck building, match 1, match 2, match 3, something like that. Not a big deal of course, but it can be nice when RUclips loses my place in a long video to make it easier to find where I was. That said, the matches can be a bit of a spoiler so I can understand not wanting to identify them individually.

At 34:57, you could go get Augur then use the fetch land in your bin to repeatedly shuffle your deck until metamorph is on top.
I haven't played Magic in over a decade, but my main deck used enchantments to crush my opponents. I could go infinite on turn 1 with Fastbond + Zuran Orb + Crucible of Worlds (and a couple of other ways, though Fastbond was the cornerstone). That card is just overpowered. (I make this comment, watch 1 more minute of the video and see you pulled a Crucible of Worlds. hahaha)

i remember the first time I ever learned anything about vintage, it was just after fifth dawn had been printed in 2004 and the crucible-fastbond-zuran orb combo was the new hot tech. Most of those decks killed by looping barbarian ring lol

Hell yeah we got an LSV channel
The final game you can metamorph the oracle, then fetch resetting the top until you find nurturing peatland which lets you draw your deck to win there. This draft really showed off a cool combo, but the draw your deck with peatland lines seemed to be not on his radar.
