Tbh, when I watch this video I don't recognize me. I'm trash, too much DPI, hands shaking cause bad mouse, bad keyboard. That was beginning of my PC experience. No tutorials on this shit show.

I recently just got into dying light (about 50 hrs so far); it's really great to see such an active community still, but there is just no content teaching people how to play. A lot of my fights are very one-sided, either the hunter doesn't even know how to ground pound or they know every trick in the book and dumpster me. I try to watch a lot of these videos and emulate what I see (I learned backwards slide from a friendly night hunter), but a lot of things like tackle slicing, animation canceling, canceling grapple hooks mid-air; no where I can find explains how to do them. I'm not saying you owe us a tutorial (or any content), but I don't think it's quite fair to call yourself trash when you have so much knowledge with little to no resources. Your videos are very entertaining and the only source for someone new like me to try and learn things. If you're trash, then I'm not quite sure what that makes me lol. Maybe you've improved a lot since this video, but compared to everything else I've seen, it's far from a shit-show. I very much enjoy watching.
I see. Those tricks you talk about are useful against good night hunters, it makes the game more balanced because yeah, this game isn't really balanced. @@Kaiyoo It's frustrating when you play against someone who knows exploits/tricks and you don't; like a night hunter who knows how to tackle chain. I hear comments say things like "double claw" and "gp spit" as exploits, but no explanation. Some things I can learn by watching, like canceling 2 handed weapon animation with grapple hook; but some things I'd never know or find out myself unless I was told, like backwards slide. Trying to fight a hunter who knows exploits you don't is like trying to fight a normal player without a UV light, lol. You know there's a way to counter them, you just don't know the button inputs. I see things like tackle slicing, drop kicks from side-dodges, drop kicks from falling, canceling grapple hook mid-air, throwing flares/drinking fast, killing hives in 5 seconds by spamming survivor tackle. I don't know if any have been patched/fixed; or if these are macros or mods. These things I might not ever figure out, but the best thing I can do is try to reinvent the wheel and enjoy the game. It's fascinating to watch, I have a lot to practice and try to figure out. Cheers.
-Tackle slice = tackle + slice -GP spit = Ground pound + spit -Dodge DK = Dodge + drop kick -Double crossbow = crossbow shot x2 -Double claw = claw + tendril + claw -Tackle crossbow slice = tackle + crossbow + slice -Instant tackle = (as hunter) hold the tackle button/key after animations -Reverse throwing flare = run + check behind + flare -Grapple hook can cancel animations and evade tackles from hunters -Nests are easy to destroy, use toxic bolts, a modified one handed weapon and tackles. There are so much more but I'll let you learn them by yourself.

Fear could have won that it was just wrong timeing and placement both great players but in my opinion fear won that battle wise because kayioo kept getting lucky with fear missing his ground pounds

Dodge to back or to the sides, (if You are to console), run and pull the left joystick, and slide. Thats a good exploit
