Thank you so much for these videos! I just got into photography. Nothing crazy, I use a point and shoot Canon Sure Shot Telemax with ilford HP5. As a beginner I find this setup really fun to use. Anyways, I really appreciate your videos. The quality and production is incredible. I watch a video a day on my lunch breaks. I think Quentin Tarantino said the best way to make movies to watch a lot of movies. I apply that to photography and your videos. Your videos not only introduced me to amazing photographers but also what makes them stand out. Why they take the pictures they do. What their guiding philosophy is. How they push photography as an art medium. So many things. I feel I’ll become a better photographer from watching these videos more so than watching the countless technical “how to” videos on this site.
🙌😭🙌 This comment has me pumped! Thanks for taking the time to write it. I feel that the study of the history of photography and the “how” and “why” thoughts of the greats are also the most helpful things in pushing my own photography work forward as well. I hope your work is truly benefiting from thinking on that. Thanks. I appreciate you!
❤ Thank you, sir! 👍 With your videos like this one you are promoting true photography and helping the rest of us to discover (and re-discover) this artistic medium and those who mastered it.
He’s one of the first photographers I locked onto when I started photography in college. He still makes me reconsider what I am doing, even when I don’t realize it.
I look foward to every new video you drop and usually one of the first I watch out all subscriptions I have. The books and history of photography teaches me\us what really matters, to created art. Thank you!
What is wrong with all those people who claim to have affinity to photography and pictures, but use a white eye hurting background in their RUclips videos???
Thank you so much for these videos!

If I had to suggest anyone that makes you think more deeply on your work it’s Stieglitz by a mile.
Thanks for the full but concise exploration of this seminal figure.
