I think that the two women have their strengths and weaknesses. They are both beautiful singers, and I think that we should just let them be. Nightwish makes amazing music either way.
hey guys, do you remember the voice of Tarja in angels fall first?, after that, she trained her voice and did a wonderfull work in songs like ghost love score, romanticide,etc. Anette has a great voice, her only problem is she´s at the shadow of Tarja and her voice is different. Just give her a chance with the next CD :D

@Pholus She is not pop, pop is not a vocal style it's a certain genre of music not all female rockers have to be grunters or sing opera. No most haven't given her a real chance, If you were to listen you would realize she has a voice that is very reminiscent of heart and 80s female rockers.
i will listen to the old stuff myself. ya shes good for what she is but just not my thing, i do think that tarjas voice is very beautiful compared to this. i think thats why i really never listened to nightwish because of this new singer no offence

well Tarja has been replaced , its time for them to move forward but that doesnt mean we will cherish her memories......saying they r not good now.. is not right

Tuomas is the one who writes the songs, people. The strength of this band is primarily in Tuomas' songwriting and secondarily in the vocals
