I love love love this channel! I’ve seen other Arya reactions to the sex with Gentry. And most hav been disappointing negative. I don’t get it. Arya has been through so much violence, grief, and hardship and she just wanted a moment of a intimacy, vulnerability, and open herself up to someone she has an affection for before she possibly dies. I don’t believe she loves Gen but he’s probably the best person she could of picked for this experience . I don’t get the hate. :/ I loved that she took control of this moment.

She's like a little cousin or sister to viewers. So while I can be happy that she's owning her sexuality, it's not like I wanna WATCH my little cousin strip naked and straddle dudes. And I think people's main issue is that a director should realize who this character is and what she means to the target audience. Knowing your audience is one of the most basic components of directing. It's not that she had sex but that they made us watch it

I think most people were uncomfortable seeing her naked. We've watched Arya since she was 11. We don't really wanna see her naked. But I agree even Maisie Williams said that Arya does love Gendry he was the first person she could confide in after she was separated from her family and everyone she could trust and he was always there for her. To reunite after all these years and to share that with him was beautiful. As well as being one of the few people in this show to be able to choose when, where and with who they have their first time is perfect for Arya when she has been independent this whole show.
