Yuul Aiyng and TBH Gibson quality has gone down so much over the past decade that most of the chapman pro models are probably better than Gibsons in the same price range.

I overheard a conversation whilst at the Anderton store a few years ago, but apparently Rob Chapman died in a horrible truss rodd related accident and the guy posting videos is actually a look-a-likey hired by Lee Anderton. And the final proof is in a Chapman video when they filmed at Abbey road.....look at the way when they all walk across the road.....Rob walks slightly different to the rest of the guys......MIND BLOWN !

I think it's also important to state that you shouldn't need to have your own ____ company to deserve to feel happy... I'm personally not the type of person who likes to have the full responsibility of stuff and would much rather be employee rather than employer.
Congratulations on Chapman Guitars, in case I haven't said that before, I personally think it is a terrific achievement, I know how difficult it is to build a successful business -especially a Guitar company, crowded competitive as it is!
I heard that Chapman was going to play Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars, and instead of a light saber he battled with his mighty shredding axe. But then Mark Hamel beat him in a guitar off to get the role.

T-Mc-27 yes he plays superb when hes not with LEE he need to start to break away from the heavy drop c metal and stop being influenced by Lee that the majority of there guitar sales are for metal players, so you have to shread Rob! Wrong! This last piece you played was serious Rob Chapman talant ,and he will get far more reconition and following in the world.
Rob you've inspired me quite a lot for the last year or so, and I have to say I really appreciate everything you do. Whether it's the videos at Anderton's, Riff City, or your instructional videos (which have helped me break out of that rut I felt stuck in for a while) I look forward to watching your videos every chance I get! I don't expect a response from someone as busy as you, but I hope you can see this so that you know you're making a difference even on such a small level as mine.

Can't wait till I graduate! I promised myself a Fireburst ML2 Pro Modern, just like the one you have one the video. And I am 43, already have that glorious beard, with some grey and other lighter shades of color. I also already shave my head (not enough left on it!). Keep up the good work!

That guitar is just a ESP Eclipse but like a quarter of the price. I'd totally buy one of I got to try one first, but the closest Chapman retailer to me is a 20 hour drive away. BRING CHAPMAN GUITARS TO TEXAS
FunkyDrummer esp e II eclipse is made in Japan, has different radius, higher quality all around.. I’d compare the Chapman to an Ltd ec .
The irony is that the first Chapman dealer in the US was a Texan firm called RNA. That business relationship ended very rapidly and reportedly acrimoniously...
The ML2 is an underrated guitar. It doesn't get the exposure of the ML1 or ML3 for some reason. I have one and it's an amazing instrument. All hail ML2.
Great playing chappers. Really enjoying the more melodic playing, less shredding. Not that shredding is a bad thing, but I do like to see what kind of melodic things your mind can brew up, keep up the positivity and good vibes.

I live in Denver, Colorado, but finally got to see some of your guitars in person while visiting Amsterdam in March. Went into a great little guitar shop (Dijkman), and was surprised by a rack full of Chapmans. I also saw a beautiful gold Strat copy by DooDad from The Netherlands. (looks like they've recently had to change their headstock, but the one I saw was 100% Strat) It was really affordable, and really well made. Wondering if you've heard of them? Keep up the great work!

It's been bugging me for ages who Rob reminds me of and I finally figured it out: David Brent! Does this mean that he's actually Ricky Gervais performing a really long term comedy character, like Alan Partridge, or Ali G? The face, voice, hair, beard and the fondness for guitar all fit!
It's been about a year I think since you purchased the kemper profiler. If memory serves me correctly , I believe you were expecting it to replace all of your gigging gear, not necessarily the studio gear. I'd love to see what you think about it now, has it replaced your gigging gear? Are you finding it more or less useful in the studio? What's your overall opinion of it compared to your pedals and amps and cabs for touring and studio? Overtime have your ears picked up on the nuances that the kemper profiler has when it profiles? I'd love to see that. Great videos bye the way and congrats on being a dad. Those little guys ( I have two young boys ) are the most interesting people I know.

It's interesting that the ML-2 Pro Modern is priced at $1100 (with hard case), and you can get a 2018 Gibson Les Paul Faded for $900 (with softshell case). Although I think the quality of Chapman guitars have gone up, and for the most part the quality of Gibson has gone down, anyone who has played a Les Paul Faded lately knows they are solid guitars. I just don't see the value in paying $200 for a Chapman guitar that sonically isn't any better than a Gibson LP faded. Rob Chapman, I challenge you to do a Andertons sound test to see if we or another unbiased person/persons can tell the difference!! :)

Rob died in 2013. This is a robot Rob made in the Korean Chapman guitar factory to keep the brand alive. He sounds like Rob, can pass for the real thing but I assure you there is just metal and wires under that manly perfect face.
They say the craftsmanship on the Korean built rob is pretty amazing, whereas the Indonesian built rob has some hardware issues.
It's an R1000, human tissue over a liquid alloy ... ;-)

Not a rumor at all - my 14 year old daughter worships the fretboards Rob plays on. She's spent the past 12 months trying to emulate Rob's paying but with limited success although she's definitely making progress. I wish Rob would do more beginner/intermediate tutorial vids for people like her..... and I'm now saving up to buy her a chapman guitar.
Rumors at my house is I bought a Chapman and love it more than the Gibson.
I have never heard of someone mistake a chapman guitar for a Gibson.... or think that Gibson owns them..

Don't like the satin finishes at all tbh. Neither on the body nor on the neck. Wish that there were also some guitars in the Pro range with poly or nitro finishes.

i don't mind the ml1 traditional with 3 singles in white. and the ml1 modern is kinda growing on me, but there are so many guitars that looks pretty much just like that...
For me it's the reverse headstock and the lack of fret markers on the pro models otherwise I'd be pretty keen.

Have a Robert friend who for years used to be a Bob. When he got older and lost most of his hair he became a Rob. At 65 I don't dye my hair but I just started dyeing my beard. Doesn't look near as fake as I thought. My wife hasn't even noticed. I don't know if that's good or bad.
