- Tension has escalated in Zimbabwe after the SADC election observer mission issued a statement that pointed to elections in Zimbabwe not meeting the regional and international standards.
On Saturday morning the media briefing of the opposition Coalition for Citizen Change (CCC) was disrupted by an unknown group.

It's time for people of Zim to fight
They are not ready for that. The fact that a random person is allowed to walk up to a party leader who is addressing his followers and simply grab his notes and walk away freely, already shows that Zimbabwean people are still too soft and not ready for a revolution.
Just imagine if someone tried to grab the notes of Julius Malema or Cyril or any other party in South Africa. Such a person would end up needing divine intervention in a hospital ICU room.
As long as zanu pf keeps getting away with this behavior, then they will keep doing this,best is people need to overthrow this government and jail all of the zanu pf government

@archfordmusademba100; South African journalists are aggressive in Zimbabwe because the Zimbabwe government cannot target a journalist from another country as much as they do to Zimbabweans. Perhaps they could deport but not arrest, but Zimbabwe journalists are at risk of arrest and torture.

These thugs can behave with such impunity knowing those behind them are a real law unto themselves. To even allow their faces to be seen without fear says it all.
This has just proven to me that real problem with Zimbabwe. Its citizens are simply too soft to stand up to a tyrannical government. I can't imagine an undercover state agent in South Africa being allowed to walk up to a party leader and grab his notes while the leader is still talking. Such a person would not make it to the exit door while still being conscious. Zimbabwe all they could do is ask him politely who he was. That's not a group of people who are ready to start a revolution.

You're getting it wrong, folks. Zanu PF just didn't want the press to know the contents of the briefing until vaNyangadza had been declared winner. The plan was to disrupt it, and CCC was caught unaware because they didn't have plan B because they didn't expect such a devilish thing to happen in front of international journalists.
Imi vanhu veCCC, you need to learn from this experience. You could have copies of the speech on other senior party members' devices or pieces of paper in their pockets and they must be ready to continue with the conference once the disruptions are over or avoid F2F press conferences altogether and conduct them remotely. You share a link (only known to a few individuals in the party) with the news media, and you conduct it remotely. Always ensure someone abroad can step in if the thugs disconnect the network or, if all fails, pass them the speech and let them put their questions in writing.

We have many allegations of abduction and unregistered vehicles were used. Noone was arrested and allegations were against state security. now its clear who do the abductions.
