      The fact he isn’t the front runner for mvp even though he already has beaten two of Tom Brady’s records this season is insane he is the only guy who deserves any mvp votes other than saquon and ja marr chase which saquon should get opoy dispite ja marr chase having the triple crown

    2:38 whats interesting you pointing that out, I remember when he was at LSU, I quickly became a fan watching how he played despite being a Bama fan, in the Natty, against Clemson, LSU was struggling in the 1st quarter to get their passing game going against Clemson dropping 7
    So, what got LSU going? Burrow taking it upon himself, using his legs, just as he did on this play against Denver, as a way to get Clemson off of their tight coverage every play

      Same thing vs the Chiefs in 2021 AFC Championship game....MULTIPLE big scrambles, and more than just a couple yards. They were 3rd & 9 and 3rd & 11, much like here. I think most of us Bengals fans hold our breath that he doesn't get injured on the scrambles, but he almost always gets what's needed when he breaks one loose on his own.

    7:41 what’s funny is that Ja’Marr is open here but burrow has his eye on Tee the entire time, he knew the ball was going to tee before the ball was snapped

    It’s just phenomenal that OL coach Pollack still has a job after producing another year of a bottom 5 at best OLine. Burrow has been crazy good all year but has been let down by the coaching, kicking, line and defense.

    Chase was coming free as well and ended up being wide open. Great play call right there.

    6:30 at this point, I've listened to enough people analyzing this game to say, I'm the only person who noticed a reason for Zac Taylor to be partially blamed for that missed FG. Maybe even just the special teams coach, at the very least
    The kicking unit was slow getting lined up. The smapper didn't have his hands on the ball until 5 seconds left on the play clock. Meaning, the kicker had only JUST taken his steps right as the ball was snapped
    Now, keeping in mind kicking FGs, especially in a high stakes situation in the NFL, is just as much about mentality as it is skill. Commonly, like 95% or so of NFL kickers, they have this routine: spot where you want the ball, measured steps back, a moment to calm the nerves, before finally nodding at the holder to snap the ball. NONE of that took place. So the timing was screwed up
    Now, if you were a smart and observant coach, this is a game winning kick, you see the play clock get to where it is and the kicker hasn't even gotten himself set up, CALL one of your 2 timeouts!!! 🙄😮‍💨

    York, Bengals kicker is the backup. He hit a 59 yarder last week and has been great. Except for the doink in this one at the worst possible time. He’s taking a lotta heat but has been good filling in for Bitcoin Mac who used to be Money Mac. Now his value varies and has been on IR after he got a BAD case of the Yips a few weeks ago.

    There are three QBs Burrow, Mahomes and Allen that slant the field in their teams favor. And, yes it's true, Burrow has two *elite* WRs. But, that's about it: Zero offensive line, no team rushing attack, bad defense and mediocre special teams. In a vacuum Burrow has played the best out of the three this year (barely), but he has no real chance for MVP simply because lack of team success. Allen has also been awesome this year, and Mahomes has also played awesome -- despite lack of stats. When the game on the line, these three guys always come through.

    • @bobspongeinpineapple
      @bobspongeinpineapple 18 дней назад

      Mahomes hasn't been awesome this year. Half the year he sailed balls and people were like, "he has no help." He has thrown literally brain dead picks this year. He is great and an all-time player, but he was not great this season. Had great moments where we saw flashes of the Mahomes people want to see. Lamar, Joe, and Josh were much better this year. Highlights and stats.

    • @sethp26
      @sethp26 17 дней назад

      the o-line has actually been pretty alright this year. I think lamar has the most impressive resume this season, but as a bengals fun ofc id love to see it go to burrow. Im not really sure how Allen is the betting favorite to win it rn because he is a whole step down from lamar or joe. Joe or Allen will probably get it due to voter fatigue if i had to guess

    • @johnreesekl6249
      @johnreesekl6249 17 дней назад

      @@sethp26 I agree with the voter fatigue. Lamar won't win another one unless he goes a notch higher or they are undefeated. I would also like to see Joe get it =) But, team record matters, and that's why Allen gets "his turn" at the award. He deserves it. He has played like he always does--elite. Joe is one if, if not, my favorite player. I hope he gets one MVP some day.

    I am not great at giving praise. How do you tell someone they did a great job without it sounding awkward or phony?
    Burrow was nearly perfect. Tee might have been drug tested if he didn't do this every other game.
    Chase had a down game, and 100 yards, so he is clearly elite. Gesicki made plays, and the defense wasn't hopeless. :)
    This was a great game from everyone except the O-line, and Taylor's situational coaching.

    As a Bengals fan it's going to hurt the Bengals to make the playoffs. They need to rebuild their defense and offensive line. If they make the playoffs it may give them too much confidence in what they got.
