The glue is awesome steel to aluminium and is so cheap! - just dont use so much that it squidges onto the foam. I sometimes gap fill with polurathene but its not often that I need to cos this stuff is so easy to work with
That's something I was wanting to know. I've got a older 20' tandem axle cattle trailer that I would love to redo into a toyhauler to haul both of my Commanders and the way it's made with a set of fenders running the whole length and they set up above the floor 18" that gives me a lot of storage room for my gear and water along with a toilet waste water and with a lil thinking maybe a pop up stove and step down shower. Lol.
@@stacyreid5077 yes. Make it work to your advantage if you will still have the headroom. To accommodate the 36"wheels I was forced to do this . But it's a whole heap more storage. Wait till you see the vid on the slide out sink and stove . I'm just working on that now.
Hello Jack. Because of the Chinese virus it hasn't been out much. But I build trailers from this for a living and they are solid and reliable. Less joins-less movement=less leaks.
Hi I’m making a overlander trailer And I would like to know what is the name or brand of that extruded hinge or perhaps where you got it from, looks like exactly what I’m after!!
You made my day with this video. I'm sure you are not 35 anymore so it's amazing how much energy you have.
Found the hinge details. Thanks.
Coming along nicely cobber. I like the idea of solid interlocking panels to form the secure extended structure.
Cheers for sharing. Hooroo for now.
Looks good. Heaps of progress
You too ... ;-)
Your fan videeo was inspirational- I wish I had spent a little more- mine is pretty woosy
@@t.h.o.r. it was a rv world store special. Its their own brand. A fanatic fan instead of fantastic fan lol.
Super sales video.
I'm saving up for one😉
Piss off!- make your own!😄
What company makes the extruded hinge? Great info!
Great build mate just say should be using a polyurethane adhesive not contact adhesive/liquid nails.

Your skill levels and energy are amazing. Hopefully I'll follow suit. What is the name of the hinge you have used for the door at the rear. Thanks.
Where did you find The panels?.
Over here in europe it is expensive about 150 Euros 1x1m..
Where do you get those hinges from? What is it called? Looks amazing!
Its called one piece continuous hinge. any business that sells bus and truck body components like latches and vents

TinyHouse and Offgrid Resources can't wait to see the rest 👍🏻
If you’re in New Zealand you can buy this hinge from Comac part number 2277
Great video...How is this holding up after a year ? I’m looking into building a topper for my pickup and this might be a good way to do it.. 😎

how do you join the odd angles of the roof together?
You fold inside and outside flashings from 1.2mm alloy
Hello ;) where do you buy thoose structural channels? Tried to search everywhere, but with no luck :D
Channels?- Panels. Coolstore panels Structural Insulated Panels. Kingspan- Metalcraft Foreman Insulation- all companies in NZ that make it-
Have you ever tried a hot knife to cut this?
that would make a huge mess! the drop saw does it perfectly
Wait a minute- do you mean the construction panel? it has a steel skin on both sides.
Instead of the wire
