What sort of training did you do to achieve that? Did you do gainers? Im struggling with press ups to bleep. Seem to fatigue at 30 and progress is very slow

I did gainers but to speed up the process as it is very long I used bench press and cable flies to get my pushups to about 30 and went from there

Brilliant post, especially with the revised changes to the PRMC meaning that the gym tests are all done to the beep.
    Much appreciated.

Thanks very much for sharing these Sean! Quick question though, I have PRMC in 3 weeks would you say the following stats would be good enough for a pass on the Gym tests and 1.5 mile return?
    1.5 mile return - 9:32
Press Ups (to Bleep) - 35
    Sit-ups (to Bleep) - 85
    Pull Ups ( to Bleep) - 8
    Bleep test level - 11.4
    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks

You need to get a best mark of about 11 on the pull ups and your bleep test keep training on it

Hey Sean any ideas on this... my press ups seem to be going backwards?? could do 30 no problem a couple months ago and now I look like a shitting dog when I get to 18-20.. sometimes i can't even manage 10. Which is odd seeing as when i could do 30 i was 98kgs and now I'm 89 kgs doesn't make much sense. either I'm over training or not doing enough. any ideas? cheers!

Hi +Chazz Robbo. Sorry, I missed this comment first time around. Have you started to succeed again now? Sounded like a bit of overtraining to me.

What is the minimum number to stay in the course?

    • @seanlerwill

Download and read my Pass The PRMC ebook, all explained in there (available at seanlerwill.com). There is no simple answer as it changes and its not about one specific test. Also, asking what the minimum is not the RM way... Aim high not low.

Hi ***** , could you give me the gym test mark scheme please ? i have heard it's 400 points max and 180 points minimum pass, but what's the individual scores for each exercise ? Thank you.

+Cameron Fenton Nobody's really sure on exact scores, it seems to change regularly. Aiming for the pass mark is usually a bad way to go about it though, aim for more than the max
