Wow! Neat device!
Great video 😀👍👍
Very interesting device!
I love that it has low frequency, but some tones just sound odd, such as the bell tone, almost sounds like an older house phone ringing!
Interestingly, the "520 Hz" tone is not 520 Hz. It's 555.6 Hz-a perfectly in tune C sharp, at A=441 hz.
First like, first view, first comment!
3:41 sounds like a UK level crossing
You should compare it to the system sensor low frequency sounder
Awesome video, and good demonstration!! I have one of these, except mine is white and is the horn strobe version. I believe these are Canadian if I’m not mistaken??
5:39 sounds like fire truck or police car or ambulance
Very cool!
520Hz Horn, Broadband, and Hi-Lo sound decent, everything else sounds like children's toys.
How are you powering the alarm in the demo? Also, nice alarm!
No horn tone??
Hi @Fire Alarms and Such. This is Tyler here. My former high school just got renovated last year. The model is some kind of Simplex Truealert model but with a very faint, quiet chime like noise. It almost sounds like a clock bell but in code 3 and noticed that was not one of the tones in this video. Our system had the faint bell on the inside with regular Truealert horns on the outside. Do you have any idea of what that could be? Thanks.
My guess would be speaker/strobes. Simplex voice evac panels have several tones like what you're describing.
Addressable or non-addressable?
How is that broadband? That's a single frequency!
It's actually dual-frequency. It has a major 600-640Hz tone, but it also has a 3000Hz overtone.
is this a non conventional device?
like can i use it on a firesheild?
@@safealert21yt52 you can use it on the fire shield
Yayayay I first
That things sounds horrible, and it seems useless
Just like you
