This is a cool video. Love to hear all the thought behind how and why. I watched the one Mo did but didn't understand it... Maybe now I can revisit that one.
I found an undrilled Ebonite Power Core Thunderbolt that I drilled this year. Awesome ball in it's day. Not a lot of motion compared to today's urethane, but sometimes that's what you need. Hits like a truck. I remember this ball on wood. I could really make it bend. I was a lot younger then too though. At 60, I'm still throwing 400 rev rate.
Still throw an old Track Power Machine and Xception 5.0 from time to time in league and they do not disappoint. Will be fun to see this one going down the lane.
Yo Nick, when I drill bowling balls the rotation speed of the drill press is a tad bit faster if not the same as yours. I've seen other PSOs have their drill press speed with signifcant higher rpms. Any pros and cons to that?
Every press can be different, some have different motors with different recommended RPM. They can be adjusted with the belt system, but I’ve always left it at factory spec.
i have been going 4x45 just because of my rev rate, would i be better off staying with that val compared to a 20? im not sure how much it would matter, i have a couple rico types i really like,.
This last friday i got a ball from my teenage years from dv8 the brutal nightmare. Mine has the same pour pattern that my dads did but mine has a big blue spot near the pin . Me personally i loved the hell raiser revenge and i made a deal with my dad if i shoot 260 plus i will get the hell raiser return and have drilled to compliment my brutal nightmare.
@@brunsnick Great! I still have my now 17 year old bowling ball Rotogrip Epic Odyssey in my bag. It hits like a cannon ball even on todays' oil patterns!
@brunsnick if we're honest it was just ok. It just looked good that night. Smokin' was my favorite and shot a lot of good games with the Ultimate. Vapor Zone was my baby back then though.
Cool tech bowling bowling ball Brunswick inferno fire with dot technology drill anywhere technology and dynamic core technology in the bowling ball more strike and spare hitting power at time brunsnick
Rumor has it you can drill a 2nd angled hole thorough your thumb hole, and then cover it up with the switch grip sleeve. This will give you some of the "weight hole effect" back. Heard this from a friend 🤔🤫😂
That is a sick color combo!
One of the GOAT’s!

Such a great line, I had 3, this one, the Intense and the Ultimate I think, lol! Would love a remake of this line with modern ball technology!!
Got my first 300 game with an Absolute Inferno. Loved that ball

Wish power machine could come back
Loved my White Pin Smokin Infernos
Never had the white pin straighter version.

Don’t really know your game, sorry.
@brunsnick never a problem. Just curious asto how much 25 would change the back end reaction. Ty though

is that small pin hole drill to reduce weight (oz) or does it serve a purpose?
Vent hole for ring finger.
Hello! Are you going to show us how it rolls on todays' lanes? I really hope so! 🙆
Yep! Filming tomorrow!

Id love an intense inferno remake. It was such a beast.
Wild looking one, flippy but needed a lot of dry boards to work.
@@brunsnick m.ruclips.net/video/QEPj9KrBW-I/видео.html is this you by chance?
What was that last little hole?
Vent hole for the ring finger.
Takes me back. Shot my first 800 with that thing. My first 300 with the Total
Total Inferno was the only one I really didn’t like that much.

I just realized that this was probably made in the us and it has the dot as the cg. Motiv moved there and still uses the dot cg!
No, this particular one was not made in U.S.
@@brunsnick ok thx but still cool
Just searched up a pre-2005 brunswick ball and it uses the dot. Pretty cool artifact
2:44 Looks like a "Scream" face, lol
So when laying out a ball for a lefty is it reversed or is it the same.
Reversed, just draw the angles to the left

Illegal.
@@brunsnick "Competitive Advantage"
Can’t drill the skill though.
Now i see why you talk up the infernos when i said i hated the OG. Im sure the solid infernos with surface were better. Didn't throw them.
No fair 😢
How come?
@@brunsnick bcs u get to drill a legend
Smokin’ Inferno was such a great ball on lighter oil conditions.
