Very relatable. People need to understand, slowly, a lot of people already understand - kids need protection from predators at home.

Family members thought I was crazy when I spoke out loud that my children are going to tell if any of you bastards touch them! They were looking at me like nobody wants your kids. Nobody here is like that. I did it because you never know who is watching your children, especially in a house full of people. I told my child if someone touches you don't tell them you're gonna tell your mom just run away once you're safe, you tell me every thing!because some predators might try to hurt your child if they threatened to tell. People teach your children how to be tattletales tell them to tell on every damn body.

I think talking to them about stuff like this is so important, even at a young age like you mentioned. Children are a lot smarter than people give them credit for, all it takes if talking to them so they can understand.

All these experiences take away the innocence of these children. Their voices are stolen and the mental psyche tainted. 💔❤️‍🩹❤️

Being molested by a family member to have your mother believe you (but do nothing) and have those who knew (because he’s done it to others) scold and attempt to tarnish your reputation because you only want “attention” (which by the way, so what if you did, wanting to be seen clearly because being mistreated, who wouldn’t want to be seen and helped, I don’t get how people take away from abuse by saying you’re seeking attention, abuse is abuse) was almost as worse as them not believing me at all.
Sweeping things under the rug, inviting them over, having me freeze and cry every time I’d see him and I’d have to suck it up because it happened and I should move on. And when I became “evil” which in reality was me fed up with their b.s they looked at me as the oppressor when I started to call it out, it’s a vicious cycle I refused to repeat. It makes me sick and I view them just as worse as the uncle that touched me.

Ive had strange friends like this too and one of them is a junkie since many years, the other is on her second marriage and 8th child, never have worked and behaves VERY strangely, none of her children wants anything to do with her. I believe they were both sexually molested.

That man really gave some sorry excuse and asked for forgiveness.
My abuser got exposed on facebook this year by several others including myself. He lost his job because f forgiveness. These are grown a-- men abusing children and they need to face consequences. If the law isn't going to do anything expose then online.
