Corey didn't cut himself during the whole album he cut himself when he did the vocals for left behind and it did the trick let me tell you he also vomited on himself during the song as well
@@davidfrye7314 As far as I know, Clown said he did cut himself during Iowa too, the song though, not the full album, was talking about the song originally😅
Best Slipknot era in my opinion. Everything was just perfect. Paul and Joey were there, Corey's voice was so brutal and in tremendous shape, the masks and jumpsuits were the best till today. Unfortunately, this is long gone. Great memories though.
The Gray Chapter is an amazing album but honestly they all hated each other were drunk as hell and strung out on drugs they are all fathers now that will never happen again but the gray chapter is by far the best album imho
You can really feel Corey's bottled up rage and hatred. The screams are fucking brutal, just incredibely good! I doubt there will ever happen to be another vocalist who is able to express his feelings as he did back at 1999-2002, it was just another era.

True
Definition of chaotic. Love them forever. This song in specific gets me through some tough days.
I know everybody wants this phase back, and it really kicks ass so hard, but the band was on the brink of splitting up, everybody was going through so much shit, hell, Corey cut himself open just to record Iowa, I don't wish this phase back, for the people of the band, for their sake
We all do, but slipknot has aged and to be honest WANYK is a master peice.
Green beans. Totally agree! So many underrated songs on that album
Corey even jumped off a building to kill himself he would be dead if one of friends didn't catch him
Corey didn't cut himself during the whole album he cut himself when he did the vocals for left behind and it did the trick let me tell you he also vomited on himself during the song as well
@@davidfrye7314 As far as I know, Clown said he did cut himself during Iowa too, the song though, not the full album, was talking about the song originally😅
Best Slipknot era in my opinion. Everything was just perfect. Paul and Joey were there, Corey's voice was so brutal and in tremendous shape, the masks and jumpsuits were the best till today. Unfortunately, this is long gone. Great memories though.
The Gray Chapter is an amazing album but honestly they all hated each other were drunk as hell and strung out on drugs they are all fathers now that will never happen again but the gray chapter is by far the best album imho
amen to that dude.
The masks stopped being scary after Iowa
kostelo21 Yet they didn't have many live shows during there IOWA album
This is probably the best performance of this song.
lmao that's pretty sad!
HuskyChunk101 It will never again be that good because of Joey getting kicked and Paul dying.
Sam Whitehead Didnt you see knotfest 2014??? Jay is playing better than joey has the last 4 years
I have knot seen it, XD
You can really feel Corey's bottled up rage and hatred. The screams are fucking brutal, just incredibely good! I doubt there will ever happen to be another vocalist who is able to express his feelings as he did back at 1999-2002, it was just another era.
2:15 is the best part ever in headbanging history.
Uhhh no
2:43
2:59
Looks like it's the percussionist's favorite part too lol
Beautiful
Its sad that people are comparing Billie Ellish to Slipknot.
Really
It a sad that people r comparing anything 2 slipknot
Seriously
Why are they comparing them?
Vlad Kravich cause Slipknot has dark songs and she does too
Back when Slipknot was best band...
Rip Paul Gray, Joey Jordinson, Chris Fehn
Fuckin true... Rough, raw, uncompromising sound and lyrics.
ReV1321kS Joey and Chris isn’t dead
@@theitalianstallion973 yes but the left Slipknot.
rip their energy
Corey’s screams are amazing
My Grandpa told me about Black Sabbath
My Dad told me about Metallica
My kids from me gonna hear about Slipknot
Mine will hear about all of them.
Mine gonna hear about butchers harem
Same hahaha
@@iceman-kr33 Same here
And 10 years from now, kids will talk about fucking k-pop...
As a Korean, I don't know if this is happy or sad.
Because I'm afraid that this wild song will be forgotten.
0:41 Sids part here is extremely underrated
SOOOOO UNDERRATED!!! Literally been scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else shows love to those brilliant sfx.
You're speaking the truth. This is one of the best parts about the song
i love the sound sm
So true, those turntable scratches in the build-up is what makes the main groove and chorus slap as hard as they do.
NO CAP
Corey's voice is the greatest voice ever, end of story!!
1시간 걸리는 출근길에 맨날듣는노래에요☺️
taip
0:32 is literally the most badass thing on the planet
i can‘t stop watching
Im getting tears in my eyes watching it
Joey = Brutal

I enjoy both musicians. They both their own unique flare that I can appreciate.

@@Lucky-bo5lt because he was so great at his own STYLE. Whilst Jay is great his STYLE also.
