The reason that I love Slipknot so much is because the rhythm and the tone of their songs dont sound like any other heavy metal songs, basically their songs are like on another level, and Corey's screams still has a tone to it, unlike any other screamer vocalist, whos scream dont really sound that desirable.

It is not his vocals here, they are playbacking it. They did since latest album, even the chorus from Devil In I on the gigs is fromn the tape, you can see it by the way Corey sings it (the higher pitch part is from the tape)

This is the best live performance that i ever see.
I'll tell you what, there are not too many bands who's live performances of songs sound anywhere near as good as the studio versions, and even less bands who sound better live than recorded, but fucking slipknot does it every single time they perform. This version right here sounds even better than the studio version from the album. It really is amazing that they are able to sound so amazing 15 years in, especially considering they have a brand new rythm duo in the band.(bassist and drummer). More often than not a band needs some time to gel and get on the same page when they have new members, but fucking slipknot didn't even skip a beat, hell, they sound even better imo. Considering how great of a drummer Joey is, and how fucking intricate and difficult some of his shit is to play, Max stepped in and, if one didn't know ant better, you couldn't even tell that Joey is gone. Fucking keep kicking ass and blowing motherfuckers minds (and eardrums) slipknot, we fucking love you!! MAGGOT FOR FUCKING EVER, MOTHERFUCKERS!!!

It's not the same, it's a different person who hasn't been in the band for 20 years. I could scream and play his drums my fucking self but I could never fill in Chris' history with the band and the memorable moments that make the band who it is.
