Actually, my Dad and I went out on a Hunt with our Donkeys. It was so funny, I had already killed my Deer. So. I'm sitting on my Donkey, and he's trying to reload his rife. And the Donkey is moving so much, he can't even put the Mag in. So he just snatches the halter and says, "Sit still jackass." Sure enough. That Donkey sat still. Reminds me of that scene from Looney Toons, when he slaps the mule and says "WHEN I SAY WOAH, I MEAN WOAH!"
These guns may have been outmoded by better firearms technology down the line, but in my opinion they outSTYLE everything made today. Gorgeous bits of work, all of them.
Kind of like the older cars. I'd still prefer a 74 duster to modern chargers and challengers just based of off it's style, and I think it was more fuel efficient but I'm not certain. Older things have their charm
Still carry my Ruger Single Action Blackhawk .357 when I am out in boonies. (Looks like a Colt SAA but you can safely carry six in the chamber and have adjustable iron sights.)
Why the hell wouldn't it be, it's one of the biggest and anticipated games of all time. rdr1 had trash reloading. Red dead 2 needs mods for more realistic reloading and damages, the Spencer reload is dumb AF in game. Also many guns are too weak in game. Henry's would be weaker than Winchester's, semi autos wouldn't be weaker than revolvers. the man ain't getting up again
@@30-06Lover It's been video game logic for around 30 years that faster firing equals less damage. There would be no point in using revolvers for anything other than style in the game if the volcanic or Mauser was just a flat upgrade.

David Altass tip: if you use dual wield 2 of the m1899s then it’s like a mini gun. I thought I was the only one who made that combo but some other people made that combo also. The downside is they cost quite a lot and I’m pretty sure your honor needs to be high.
This is some true quality content, and those guns all look so clean and nice! My favorite in game has always been the Litchfield Repeater and seeing the real thing makes me want to own one. Although I never will.
OMG, I have such a love for Lever-action rifles. I used them in many fighting games, and one of them in Fallout; New Vegas had a Brush gun, a high-caliber, very dependable rifle. Some good ones in RDR2 as well.

Same with the Carcano rifle. The version in game is a Calvary carbine variant that didn’t exist back then, so the Carcano in game should be a lot longer than it is
For me, if I’m shooting every Saint Denis cop, I’ll take in my 2 Mausers, 8 sticks of dynamite, 8 fire bottles, either a pump action or a semi auto shotgun, and a Litchfield Repeter. Though the bolt action is one of my choice weapons to have in my back at all times
Have always love the simplicity of bolt action rifles, I always bring one to the range with me because I spend less time putting ammo into mags and spend more time shooting.

Beautiful collection, but the one that stood out to me is that Pump-Action. If I remember correctly, what you got there is a Winchester Model 1897. Alongside the Thompson "Chicago Typewriter" and the P08 Luger, the Model 97 is one of my favorite guns of all time.
We may have speed loaders for such things as revolvers. But back when you couldn’t use a speed loader on revolvers, you have to do what Arthur and John did *and turn your hand into the speed loader.*
Yeah, whether its in Call of Duty or Red Dead, or even GTA, I prefer the pump action. IDK why its just so satisfying to watch your character pump the shells out. I want to own one irl. (And maybe a cattlemen revolver)
Lord Mingeworthy yeah man, 1897 Winchester shotguns cost around $500, and you can get new production 1873 Cattleman Uberti revolvers for around $400-$600 depending on what model you want. I did cowboy action shooting for a while. It’s nice to see people getting turned onto the older classic weapons which still hold up and are amazing to this day.

The Springfield was practically a conversion for a musket to be loaded from the breach, as was the Snider Enfield and a French rifle I forgot the name of. The Dreyse was bolt operated, and completely changed the world. Then the chassepot came in and that led to the Berthier and then the Lebel, the first bolt, magazine rifle.

It gets easier with practice. I use to do cowboy action shooting from horseback a lot when I was in high school.

David Altass tip: if you use dual wield 2 of the m1899s then it’s like a mini gun. I thought I was the only one who made that combo but some other people made that combo also. The downside is they cost quite a lot and I’m pretty sure your honor needs to be high.

OMG, I have such a love for Lever-action rifles. I used them in many fighting games, and one of them in Fallout; New Vegas had a Brush gun, a high-caliber, very dependable rifle. Some good ones in RDR2 as well.

Bolt action rifle has always been my favorite. Has the most satisfying reload and range & precision are on point.
For me, if I’m shooting every Saint Denis cop, I’ll take in my 2 Mausers, 8 sticks of dynamite, 8 fire bottles, either a pump action or a semi auto shotgun, and a Litchfield Repeter. Though the bolt action is one of my choice weapons to have in my back at all times

Beautiful collection, but the one that stood out to me is that Pump-Action. If I remember correctly, what you got there is a Winchester Model 1897. Alongside the Thompson "Chicago Typewriter" and the P08 Luger, the Model 97 is one of my favorite guns of all time.

Lord Mingeworthy yeah man, 1897 Winchester shotguns cost around $500, and you can get new production 1873 Cattleman Uberti revolvers for around $400-$600 depending on what model you want. I did cowboy action shooting for a while. It’s nice to see people getting turned onto the older classic weapons which still hold up and are amazing to this day.

The Springfield was practically a conversion for a musket to be loaded from the breach, as was the Snider Enfield and a French rifle I forgot the name of. The Dreyse was bolt operated, and completely changed the world. Then the chassepot came in and that led to the Berthier and then the Lebel, the first bolt, magazine rifle.
That’s why I use bolt action
